Monitoring and predicting the dynamics of abundance of species living in natural habitats is an important component stability analysis of ecosystem as well as dynamics and direction of change of biotic communities under global climate change and pressure of the alien species. The aim of the work was to build a matrix model and study the state of stabilisation of the dynamics of the bank vole population within the Leslie model. The object of the study was the population dynamics of Myodes glareolus Schreber, 1780 = Clethrionomys glareolus auct. The study is based on materials obtained during 2017–2019. This period covered one phase of the long-term population dynamics of the bank vole, named “population growth”. The research was carried out according to generally accepted methods. A total of 6400 trap-days were processed, and 358 forest fistulas were collected and studied. The intensity of harmful activity of rodents is due to the variability of the number of animals in the population. The quantitative population changes are the result of three factors: births, deaths, and migrations. The main condition for the existence of the species is the stability of the population, which is determined by the action of thecompensatory mechanisms. The growth phase of the bank vole lasted all three years of the research, the quantitative indicators were respectively: 2017 – 1.8 individuals per 100 trap-days; 2018 – 2.0 individuals per 100 trap-days; 2019 – 2.7 individuals per 100 trap-days. Low levels of the abundance in the spring of each year of the study, namely at the beginning of the breeding season (3.7 – 2.6 – 8.9 individuals per 100 trap-days). Favourable for the abundance growth was the sex ratio of the population (approximately 1:1), with some rise in the share of females, which decreases on the period of spring 2018 to autumn 2019). Some decrease in the share of immature individuals (4.5 – 3.9 – 3.1 %) is an indirect confirmation of the stability of puberty of animals with subsequent replenishment of the "stock", which led to accelerated reproduction and, consequently, provided prerequisites for further population growth. The causal mechanisms of population control established by us, without a doubt, can serve as a basis for further prognosis, of the number of pests in natural habitats. To predict population changes, the Leslie model, which is widely used in mathematical analyses of the abundance of both plant and animal groups, was chosen. The algorithm for building a matrix model, detailed in the article, has five following steps. The exponential nature of the actual and projected growth of the bank vole population during the five-year cycle (2017–2019 with a prognosis until 2023) revealed in the analysis can be explained not so much by the power of the species' reproductive potential as by the lack of the significant changes in habitat, caused by constant weather conditions, low individual mortality from predators and non-communicable diseases or other accidents. The application of the matrix model allowed to confirm the key role of the main compensatory mechanisms of population dynamics, as they contribute to the stabilisation of the population and, as a consequence, are an important condition for the existence of the species.

This study aims to describe (1) heuristic reading (2) hermeneutic reading (3) matrix, model, and (4) hypogram in the poem “Hakikat Cinta” by Rabi'ah Al-Adawiyah. This research is a library research because the primary data and secondary data are in the form of books or related documents. This study uses a qualitative descriptive technique through the semiotic approach of Michael Riffaterre. The results of the study are as follows. (1) The heuristic recitation of each sentence shows that this poem tells the story of Rabi'ah's love for his Lord, in this case he gave his whole life and death to Allah. (2) The Hermeneutic reading tells about the rabi'ah immense love for Allah, this is expressed in every verse that she expresses through her poetry. (3) The matrix in this poem is the praises conveyed by the Rabi'ah to the creator. (4) The hypogram in this poem is an intertextual hypogram, which is an explanation related to the poetry written by Rabi'ah which is closely related to the verses of the Qur'an an. After using the semiotic theory of the riffaterre, it can be concluded that according to Rabi'ah the only purpose of life that is very natural to be loved is Allah. The word love which is repeated every time by the rabi'ah implies the integrated meaning of all love only to Allah, because all forms of love and feelings grow because of the beauty and perfection of Allah

The Lohe sphere model and the Lohe matrix model are prototype continuous aggregation models on the unit sphere and the unitary group, respectively. These models have been extensively investigated in recent literature. In this paper, we propose several discrete counterparts for the continuous Lohe type aggregation models and study their emergent behaviors using the Lyapunov function method. For suitable discretization of the Lohe sphere model, we employ a scheme consisting of two steps. In the first step, we solve the first-order forward Euler scheme, and in the second step, we project the intermediate state onto the unit sphere. For this discrete model, we present a sufficient framework leading to the complete state aggregation in terms of system parameters and initial data. For the discretization of the Lohe matrix model, we use the Lie group integrator method, Lie-Trotter splitting method and Strang splitting method to propose three discrete models. For these models, we also provide several analytical frameworks leading to complete state aggregation and asymptotic state-locking.

This chapter defines the scope of informing science. The chapter begins by examining whether informing science is a discipline or field of knowledge. Next, the development of software engineering and informing science are discussed. The chapter then analyzes four key periods in the history of information processing models: (1) machine-centric computing, (2) application-oriented data processing, (3) service-oriented utility environments, and (4) interactive approaches. Next, the concept of informing science is analyzed, and a matrix model of informing science is presented. The chapter concludes by considering some of the contemporary issues with informing science, including (1) the relationship between ICT as it is applied in businesses and ICT as it is developed as a science in higher education (2) as well as the strategies used by universities for educating students in this field.

This chapter outlines a strategy for digital humanities that can address some of the challenges that have arisen due to informing technologies. The chapter begins by giving a definition of humanism and by describing the nature of the humanistic attitude. The chapter next considers the role that mythology plays in humanism. After this, a matrix model of the humanities is presented that shows the role of the humanities in a computerized society. Then, a digital humanities research strategy is discussed with specific recommendations for implementing such research. This is followed by a discussion of the role that supercomputers play in research. Strategies for creating content in the digital humanities are then explored in disciplines such as philosophy, archeology, and history. Next, strategies for publishing and distributing information are described. The chapter concludes by considering strategies for teaching digital humanities and for developing digital social resonance.

Abstract We study Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity with dynamical end of the world branes in asymptotically nearly AdS2 spacetimes. We quantize this theory in Lorentz signature, and compute the Euclidean path integral summing over topologies including dynamical branes. The latter will be seen to exactly match with a modification of the SSS matrix model. The resolution of UV divergences in the gravitational instantons involving the branes will lead us to understand the matrix model interpretation of the Wilsonian effective theory perspective on the gravitational theory. We complete this modified SSS matrix model nonperturbatively by extending the integration contour of eigenvalues into the complex plane. Furthermore, we give a new interpretation of other phases in such matrix models. We derive an effective W(Φ) dilaton gravity, which exhibits similar physics semiclassically. In the limit of a large number of flavors of branes, the effective extremal entropy S0,eff has the form of counting the states of these branes.

Abstract There is a need for simple but precise prediction models for proportioning concrete with manufactured sand, for use in ready-mix concrete production. For the last two decades, the particle-matrix model has been used in Norway for proportioning and prediction of concrete flow based on the properties and proportions of two concrete phases: coarse particles and filler modified cement paste (matrix). This paper presents experimental testing of 117 cement pastes of which 107 contain filler, i.e. particles < 125 microns, from manufactured sand. Based on compositions and properties of ingoing materials in these mixes, an empirical equation is developed that predicts the rheological properties plastic viscosity, yield stress, flow resistance ratio and mini slump flow. Optimization by regression analysis provides a practical microproportioning equation that readily can be used as input in concrete proportioning with the particle-matrix model. The equation provides a coefficient of determination R2 = 0.98 for plastic viscosity, R2 = 0.95 for mini slump flow, R2 = 0.91 for flow resistance ratio and R2 = 0.80 for yield stress.

Робиться огляд сучасних успішних моделей професійного розвитку педагогів в зарубіжній практиці освіти модель «Школа професійного розвитку» (Professional Development School – PDS), клінічна модель (clinical model), модель навчання на робочому місці (work-based learning), модель навчання на базі проектів (project-based learning), модель навчання на основі реальних проблем (PBL), модель навчання на базі досвіду (experience-based learning systems – EBLS), матрична модель свідомої компетентності (matrix model of conscious competence).
