Objective: To determine incidence, awareness and association of Lifestyle modalities with symptoms of Polycystic Ovaries (PCOS) among females of two institutes Study design and setting: It was a Pilot study based survey at University of Karachi and Bahria University, Pakistan. Methodology: Following ethical approval, structured questionnaire was designed, validated and distributed as per convenient sampling. Results: SPSS analysis for 196 responses revealed that 4.6% were PCOS afflicted while 26% of non-PCOS were vulnerable cases on account of suffering any two of the three criterion symptoms of PCOS namely: menstrual irregularities, hirsutism and acne. Chi-square based cross tabulations revealed that PCOS females were predominantly between 21-25 years and were lean singles who exhibited a tendency to exercise, consumed poultry, slept late at night and used plastics by large in daily routine. Females susceptible to PCOS significantly exhibited the criterion symptoms when associated to consumption of poultry chicken, passive smoking and plastic usage on regular basis. Significantly larger proportion (70%) of non-PCOS females were aware about this disease but symptomatic, diagnostic and treatment based knowledge was significantly less prevalent. A significant percentage of females (61.5%) associated PCOS to the occurrence of infertility. Conclusion: Thus, concluding that imparting awareness about etiological factors, symptomatology and lifestyle triggers can enable females to ensure self-check and curb the chances of being prone to PCOS by avoiding plastics and smoking environment and incorporating weight management in their lifestyle

Functions of Dialectal Expressivisms in Internet CommunicationThe subject of the article is the functioning of dialectal expressivisms in unofficial internet communication. In their statements on internet forums, internet users use numerous dialectisms, a significant percentage of which are expressive lexemes. This group consists not only of dialect expressivisms, but also of neutral dialect lexemes that have become expressivisms in colloquial communication. In the analyzed texts, dialectal expressivisms perform various functions, namely nominative, evaluative, persuasive, identifying, characterizing and ludic. Often, the use of a particular lexeme involves the realization of several functions simultaneously, but only one of them is the main one, while the other is secondary. Ekspresywizmy gwarowe w analizowanych tekstach pełnią różne funkcje, a mianowicie nominatywną, wartościującą, perswazyjną, identyfikującą, charakteryzującą i ludyczną. Często użycie konkretnego leksemu wiąże się z realizacją kilku funkcji równocześnie, ale tylko jedna z nich jest główna, inne – sekundarne.

Bentonite is a clay with interesting surface properties (affinity for water, adsorption capacity for electro-positive compounds….). The characteristics and clarifying properties of bentonite from various companies are the subject of numerous studies. The present work focuses on the study of the efficiency of bentonite and modified bentonite to purify aqueous solutions containing organic pollutants such as phenol. First, before starting the adsorption study, a physical–chemical characterization of the clay by FTIR, BET and XRD techniques was undertaken. The specific surface of the bentonite is calculated by BET. Then, the study of isotherms and kinetics of phenol adsorption on commercial BTC showed that this pollutant can be removed from liquid effluents with a significant percentage. Langmuir and Freundlich models were applied. Finally, the kinetic study performed by UV–Visible was reproduced by FTIR spectroscopy.

Objective: To estimate the incidence of cervical cancer (CCU) in the year 2020 in the gynecology oncology consultation of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service of the Hospital “Dr. Domingo Luciani”. Method: Retrospective, descriptive study, where the clinical histories of the patients diagnosed with cervical cancer who attended the first oncology gynecology consultation were reviewed, the period from January to December 2020. Results: Sixty patients met the inclusion criteria, the variables studied were age, histological type, stage at the time of diagnosis and indicated treatment;14.52% were diagnosed with cervical cancer; the mean age at the time of diagnosis was 43.15 years; the most common histological group was squamous, (96.67%). Regarding staging, 28 cases (46.67%) were diagnosed in stage IIIB, 14 cases (23.33%) in stage IIB, and only 6.66% were diagnosed in early stages. Treatment indicated radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Conclusion: We show in the present study that cervical cancer represents a significant percentage of gynecological consultations, that unfortunately the diagnosis is made in advanced stages, negatively affecting the prognosis of these patients and that the age at which it predominates is in full productive life of the women. affected women, constituting a real public health problem and chaos for families and society. Keywords: Cervical cancer, Incidence, Carcinoma, Adenocarcinoma, Stage

Achieving success is influenced in a significant percentage by the difficulties of adaptation, motivation, but also by the skills with which the student is endowed. Practice has shown that most of the time, the stronger the motivation and the activity is appreciated and rewarded, the more intense the learning. An important means for motivating students is the game, which is an excellent means of experimentation and continuous improvement of children's sensory-motor resources, thus giving free rein to the imagination structuring new movements, which they repeat in various combinations, thus contributing to the progressive development of thinking, memory and creativityWe can say that the true measure of intelligence is not only given by IQ, but also EQ which seems to have a major contribution. It translates into self-control, despite difficulties, and the ability to "read" the feelings of others as well as one's own. The game gets people used to accept defeats, but also victories with dignity. These qualities learned on the sports field will be successfully transposed into social and professional life and into life. One could enumerate a multitude of moral qualities that are cultivated through play: the spirit of sacrifice, perseverance, courage, which can be developed even by using the simplest games. A series of games develop visual acuity, hearing, intelligence, observation. There are no physical or intellectual qualities that cannot be developed through games.

Abstract Background Urinary incontinence is a major problem in operated exstrophy patients. Most of the repairs described in literature stress on the importance of dividing the intersymphyseal band (ISB) to place the bladder in the pelvis. But the origin of this band and its importance has hardly been discussed in literature. The purpose of this study is to establish the nature of tissue the ISB is composed of. This can be used to determine its role in the surgical management of exstrophy epispadias complex (EEC) patients. Results Thirty out of 33 operated patients demonstrated smooth muscle with/without fibrous tissue in the sections taken through the ISB. A significant percentage of patients (χ2= 38.319, p < 0.0001) in whom this band was reconstructed around the bladder neck gradually became continent/partly continent with an increase in the dry interval with time. Conclusion It can be a considerable factor to pay attention to the step of wrapping the ISB around the bladder neck during EEC repair. This serves to function as the smooth muscle of the bladder neck as proven histologically in our operated patients. It may have a role to support future continence in these patients.

Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after at least one year of regular, unprotected sexual intercourse [1] and affects one out of eight couples of reproductive age in the United States. Estimates suggest that a significant percentage of such cases result from defective semen quality in the male [2].

Regarding the spread of worm infestations, their role in human pathology, there is a large literature both abroad and here, and yet practitioners take little account of this important factor in general pathology, as well as the economic and economic effect of anti-worm measures among the population and especially among the actively insured. Numerous neurotic, anaemic patients with chronic gastrointestinal tract sufferings flood our outpatient clinics; various, sometimes contradictory diagnoses are made, they are often given disability sheets, and meanwhile, in a significant percentage, these patients could maintain their ability to work with simple anthelminthological measures, and the insurance authorities would save considerable funds on this.
