Due to the fact that teacher-student rapport may favorably influence students' academic behaviors, several scholars have empirically studied the impact of this interpersonal communication behavior on a range of student-related variables. Notwithstanding, academic engagement as another student-related variable has received less empirical attention. Further, no review study has been carried out to illustrate the beneficial outcomes of teacher-student rapport for students' involvement. The current study, hence, aims to fill these gaps by explaining the construct of teacher-student-rapport and its positive consequences for students' academic engagement in the practical instruction classrooms. Drawing on the available evidence, the positive impact of teacher-student rapport on students' academic engagement was illuminated. The significant implications of the finding are also discussed.

Where there is a team, there is envy emotion among team members. Prior studies argue that two opposite types of envy—benign envy and malicious envy differently influence team members’ interactions, thus impact team creativity differently. However, little literature has discussed whether envy has a direct influence on team creativity. This research is conducted to narrow this literature gap. Moreover, if their relationship was verified, the mechanism needs to be further explored. Previous studies have shown negative public perception of envy and strong behavioral motivation function of it. Therefore, a morality-related variable—moral reflection, and a competition-related variable—knowledge seeking are introduced as mediating variables. To test the relationships among the above variables, an experiment with 74 MBA students’ participation was conducted. The results show the positive relationship between benign envy and team creativity, while malicious envy gets the opposite result. Besides, knowledge seeking and moral reflection are proven to be bridges connecting envy and team creativity. Envy is more complicated than what previous studies have found. It has positive sides to team creativity.

The study focuses on the factors influencing investment decisions of Nepalese investors in the stock market, with a sample size of 110 respondents of Surkhet Valley. The data are collected using structured questionnaire containing yes/no response questions, multiple choice questions, ranking questions, and Likert scale questions. The survey was conducted in June, 2018. The factors influencing investing decision are grouped into three main variables i. e. company related variable (CRV), risk and return related variable (RRV), and market related variable (MRV). In company related variable factors such as management team, financial performance, size, EPS, DPS are included, in risk return related variable expected return, past return, risk of the company, liquid securities etc. are included, and in market related variable factors such as market information, market price per share, dividend growths etc. are included. This study concluded that majority of investor prefer to by stock from primary market, investor analyze the company before making investment decision, investor monitor their portfolio occasionally, and most of the investor use own saving for making investment in stock. Finally, this study concluded that investment decision of Nepalese investor is more influenced by company related variable (CRV) than market related variable (MRV) and risk and return related variable (RRV). Positive and significant coefficient of company related variable (CRV) is observed in all regression models. It can, therefore, be concluded that the Nepalese investor makes investment decision observing the company related variable of Nepalese companies.

This study was a meta-analysis of the effectiveness of technology-based career interventions. Meta-analysis was performed using Cohen’s effect size in 10 experimental research results in The Career Development Quarterly, Journal of Career Assessment, Journal of Career Development, Journal of Psychologists and Counselors in Schools published between 1988 – 2018. Participants in the studies were children and/or adolescents ranging from kindergarten through to adults of 25 years. The calculations show the modest effect (d= 0.305). It shows that technology-based career intervention has diverse effectiveness to measure any career-related variable. Keywords: meta-analysis, technology-based career intervention, career development

Introduction: the emergence of the pandemic caused by the SARS-Cov-2 virus has generated lifestyles changes for humanity. Strategies to prevent exponential contagion and the collapse of health systems such as social-distancing and quarantine have affected people in different ways according to their vulnerability, including marijuana consumers. Objective: to learn if the regular consumers of marijuana who remained in physical and social isolation due to COVID-19 altered or modified their consumption, in their disposition and in their method of supply. Method: a cross-sectional, non-probabilistic and analytical study that used the snowball technique, aimed at regular marijuana consumers in Mexico, of legal age, who have access to the Internet and/or WhatsApp. Results: 50 men and 25 women participated, most from the state of Veracruz; the only mood related variable that was statistically significant was the relief provided by marijuana use and level of marijuana use during quarantine, as well there were changes in consumption, in the method of supply and in the relationship established with the people with whom they live. Conclusions: this work addresses an emerging problem of which little is still known, especially regarding its correlation with mental health and disorders resulting from the use of psychoactive substances. Thus, contributing a building basis for understanding the impact of quarantine and for the attention of marijuana consumers.

This paper presents an interactive map related to the population vulnerability concerning COVID-19 at the municipal level for Mexico. A vulnerability index was modeled using seven socioeconomic/sociodemographic variables and one health-care related variable, all with relevance to a health contingency such as COVID-19. The resulting indicator expresses the municipal vulnerability to face a sanitary crisis such as COVID-19 in five categories. Data for each of the eight variables were first categorized in quintiles. A pairwise comparison matrix was used to weight these variables in relation to their estimated relevance for the municipal vulnerability. With respect to COVID-19 vulnerability, Mexican municipalities show the following results: 1.6% (very low), 18.7% (low), 46.6% (medium), 24.6% (high), 8.5% (very high). The map forms part of a dashboard providing daily information on the development of the pandemic in Mexico, and is complemented by a digital atlas visualizing information for each variable of the indicator.
