Acid treatment is one of the most studied methods of stimulation of inflow in carbonate reservoirs. Nevertheless, enterprises are faced with the problem of reducing the planned production rates of wells after such events, which is due to geological and technological reasons. Taking them into account when planning impact and predicting effectiveness is possible by analyzing actual production materials using mathematical statistics methods. In this paper, using the example of a oil field in the southern part of Perm region, the main factors that influence the efficiency of acid treatments are identified, a number of multidimensional models are obtained that take into account their mutual influence and allow determining the result of a geological and technical measure.

This paper identifies and characterizes the technical measures and policy instruments that can be used to promote energy efficiency and the use of renewable sources for domestic hot water (DHW). DHW presents a considerable potential for abatement of greenhouse gas emissions around the world. Measures were characterized in terms of level of transformation, impact and scope, among others. Policy instruments were characterized in terms of target groups, competences required for implementation, major challenges and nature of the instruments. A matrix showing the applicability of policy instruments per technical measure was derived, enabling policy makersto better choose articulated measures and policy instruments for their policy packs.

Drainage can be generally defined as a technical measure to reduce excess water, whether from rain, seepage, or excess irrigation water from an area / land, so that the function of the area / land is not disturbed. This study aims to analyze, assess and evaluate the condition and capacity of the channel in the sub-district Pabuaran Road Bogor Cibinong District to discharge the flooding. Data and information used is primary data in the form of rainfall data from the Meteorology and Geophysics from the nearest irrigation hall as well as secondary data, the authors survey directly at the sites. In the flood discharge processing method using two methods of hydrograph Unit hydrograph Unit Synthetic Synthetic Nakayasu and ITB. The results of both methods is used the largest flood discharge. Getting the design flood discharge using Synthetic Unit Hydrograph ITB on Channel A of 6,434 m3 / sec. Analysis of the results of the calculation of the existing discharge chute, the discharge contained on Channel A of 2.10 m3 / sec and Channel B amounting to 0.21 m3 / sec limpas both channels experience. Alternative solutions to the problems that limpas channel or unsafe they are planning a new dimension channel.

Chaucer is known as a philosophical poet. He translated Boethius’s Consolation of Philosophy from Latin to English. Do his works reveal familiarity with what went on in philosophy at Oxford and Cambridge universities in the fourteenth century? The chapter summarizes typical features of the work of the so-called ‘Oxford Calculators’ (also known as the ‘Merton School’) and contemporary philosophers at the University of Paris (who, together, may be called the fourteenth-century ‘moderni’) and contrasts these features with the work of John Wyclif, which became influential later in the fourteenth century. Among the features considered are disputations on sophismata, use of the logica moderna and technical measure languages, demonstrative reasoning, and optimism about the capabilities of scientific disciplines. Resonating more with Wycliffites are negative images of clerics.

AbstractHazards identification is essential step in framework of occupational health & safety (OH&S) management system. The task of spruce wood sanding with hand-held power belt sander is considered as a significant resource of exposure to wood dust. Dust from spruce wood is hazard that can cause negative health effects such as asthma and chronic bronchitis. A dust collection box is a commonly used technical measure for reducing exposure to wood dust for this task in practice. The objective of this pilot study was to evaluate the effectiveness of commercially available dust collection box at reducing exposure to wood dust during the task of sanding spruce wood using hand-held power belt sander. Laboratory experiment involved sanding spruce planks (250 mm × 50 mm × 500 mm) in longitudinal direction using belt sander (Bosch, PBS 75 A) with 120 grit sanding belt. Spruce dust mass concentrations were sampled using an aerosol monitor (TSI Inc., DustTrak DRX 8533) in the breathing zone of operator. Inhalable and respirable dust concentrations were both significantly lower (P < 0.0001) when dust box was attached to belt sander compared with sander without a dust box. Results from this pilot study indicate that dust collection box is efficient technical measure for decreasing exposure to aerosol mass concentration during sanding spruce wood with hand-held belt sander.

PROLIFERATION RESISTANCE ASSESSMENT OF INDONESIAN 10-MWT RDE EXPERIMENTAL POWER REACTOR USING INPRO METHODOLOGY. Assessment of proliferation resistance (PR) for 10-MWt RDE has been conducted to verify the RDE safeguards desain. Proliferation resistance (PR) is a parameter that can be used to measure the ability of a facility to implement safeguards (safeguardability). Safeguards is every technical measure used to ensure that every nuclear material in a facility is used as declared and only for welfare. Proliferation resistance of 10-MWt RDE has been assessed with INPRO methodology. The areas assessed were specific to intrinsic features of RDE, which consist of the attractiveness of nuclear material and technology and also detectability and chances of diversion of the nuclear material. This assessment concludes that the 10-MWt RDE has strong proliferation resistance, which indicates that the facility has small ability to diverse nuclear material and will less likely be used to proliferate nuclear weapon. Keywords: Proliferation Resistance, Safeguards, INPRO Methodology.

Abstract In the gearbox, lubrication is an important technical measure to improve the friction state of the friction pair and ensure the smooth operation of the mechanical system, and it also plays an important role in cooling, sealing, rust prevention, shock absorption and force transmission. Common lubrication methods in automobile gearbox include dip lubrication, splash lubrication and forced lubrication, but dip and splash lubrication often result in oil churning power loss of the gearbox, and predicting this loss at design stage can help designers to modify the design and improve efficiency. In this paper, the moving particle semi-implicit method is applied to analyze the churning loss of a single helical gear in the transmission system, and the accuracy of the simulation results is verified by experimental data. This research can provide an effective new approach to study the oil churning power loss of gear in transmission.

The evaluation of citizenship has always been tied to ethical issues, as citizenship laws reflect existing rules and also define the desired ‘good’ citizen. In order to assess whether ethical considerations have affected the legal construction of citizenship in Israel, I compared the two main laws in Israel that regulate newcomers and their citizenship—the Law of Return (1950) and the Citizenship Law (1952). I examined the legal texts and used content analysis to address the subjective intentions of the legislators who proposed them, as presented in an explanatory memorandum. Many scholars have argued that these laws were introduced as the foundational laws of the Jewish state. Nevertheless, until the 1980s, the Citizenship Law was explained as a technical measure governing the citizenship of non-Jews. Although both laws are presented as ethical, politicians characterize them as mainly republican, concealing their liberal ethical component.
