Misconception is a mismatch of students’ conceptions with concepts agreed upon by experts. Misconception is a problem that often occurs in the world of education, especially in mathematics in the matter of plane geometry. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe the types of misconceptions and causes of misconceptions experienced by students on the subject of plane geometry. The results showed that there were two types of misconceptions experienced by students, namely classificational execution misconceptions, and theoretical execution misconceptions. Misconception of classificational execution is the mismatch of students' conceptions when classifying a plane geometry with a concept agreed upon by experts; and the theoretical execution misconception is a mismatch between students' conceptions of definition, properties and elements of planes geometry. The research examined a genre-based analysis of a tourism promotion website of natural wonders on the official website of Sumenep regency. It used descriptive qualitative research. Source of the data was the Indonesian website of Sumenep regency on five natural wonders: they were tourism destinations in Gili Iyang, Gili Labak, Pantai Badur, Pantai Lombang, and Pantai Slopeng. Data collection was done by a classification of the move, step, and strategy that was proposed by Huang on sentence-based using Nvivo software. The findings yield from the proposed move and steps, and there are only four moves available compared to the proposed move and step. They comprise the move 1 headline, move 2 establishing credentials, move 3 directive information, move 4 soliciting response, and four steps in move 2 comprises step 1 introducing general situation, step 2 quoting literature, step 3 describing services or facilities, and step 4 describing critical attractions in the tourism promotion official website. The four moves found in official websites become obligatory because all moves are available in all contents of the tourism promotion website. The establishing credential move occupies the large portion of the website in giving information about the destination. Move 2 steps 2 quoting literature and move four could be categorized into non-obligatory moves because of those moves only available in one of the tourism promotions in the official website of Sumenep regency.

This paper portrays the implementation of character education based on Javanese unggah-ungguh (etiquette) in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Karanganyar, using 24 students from 5th-grade who were mentioned as the alpha generation in 2020. Generally, this generation refers to children born after 2010 in this digital era. The unggah-ungguh is one of the Indonesian ancestral heritages that must be preserved, as though it may originate from Java, it strongly represents the culture of the country’s society. Six (6) characters of Javanese unggah-ungguh were used in this research as indicators, which are tata krama (manners), lembah manah (relent), andhap asor (humility), tepa slira (tolerance), grapyak (friendliness), and ewuh-pekewuh (reluctance). This study was descriptive qualitative research that focused on observing the realization of character education based on this culture, using observation, interview, survey, and documentation as the data collection instruments. As reviewed from the affective theory of Krathwohl Taxonomy, the education character based on Javanese unggah-ungguh has influenced three-component domains of affective attitudes, which are in the level of receiving or attending, responding, and valuing. Lastly, the result showed that implementing character education based on this culture has truly shaped a better personality for students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Karanganyar as the alpha generation.
