In this manuscript, a function is derived that allows the interactions between the atoms/molecules in nanoparticles, nanodrops, and macroscopic liquid phases to be modeled. One goal of molecular theories is the development of expressions to predict specific physical properties of liquids for which no experimental data are available. A big limitation of reliable applications of known expressions is that they are based on the interactions between pairs of molecules. There is no reason to suppose that the energy of interaction of three or more molecules is the sum of the pairwise interaction energies alone. Here, an interaction function with the limit value w = e2π/e is presented, which allows for the derivation of the atomic mass unit and acts as a bridge between properties of elementary particles and emergent properties of macroscopic systems. The following properties of liquids are presented using the introduced interaction function: melting temperatures of n-alkanes, nanocrystals of polyethylene, melting temperatures of metal nanoparticles, solid–liquid phase transition temperatures for water in nanopores, critical temperatures and critical pressures of n-alkanes, vapor pressures in liquids and liquid droplets, self-diffusion coefficients of compounds in liquids, binary liquid diffusion coefficients, diffusion coefficients in liquids at infinite dilution, diffusion in polymers, and viscosities in liquids.

This study aims to describe the personality dynamics of the characters in the novel Harapan Di Atas Sajadah by Mawar Malka. The theory used is Jungian psychology, namely the theory of the importance of consciousness and the unconscious to form a complete person in relation to experiences and relationships with the Creator. The research method used a qualitative descriptive method. The research data is in the form of quotes through dialogue between characters and stories that describe the dynamics of personality in terms of the principles of interaction, function, and purpose of using psychic energy. The results of the research and discussion show that (1) the dynamics of personality in terms of the principles of interaction consist of the principles of opposition, compensation, and merger. This principle becomes the basis for the dynamics of personality that initially has a bad personality to become better, (2) personality dynamics in terms of the function of using psychic energy, namely the strength of enthusiasm, desire, and will, (3) personality dynamics in terms of the purpose of using psychic energy consisting of progressions and regressions. The personal progression of a character displays two types of personality, namely an extroverted attitude (open) and an introverted attitude (closed). Thus, the dynamics of the character's personality show significant changes. Changes related to social problems and their relationship with the Creator for the better.

Kata kunci: bahasa Hubula, struktur bahasa, fungsi bahasa, era modern   The purpose of this study is to understand the structure and function of Hubula tribe language from Balim Valley Papua with its development in the modern era. Whereas, the language has an easy sentence pattern to be identified. This research was conducted with a sociolinguistic approach that focused on the usage of language in the society to perform its function. The result showed that Hubula tribe language is still favorable in Balim Valley even at the modern era. By knowing some basic vocabularies, the sentence’s structure of Hubula tribe language can be identified easily. As the bridge for interaction, this language has several functions such as; personal function, informative function, interaction function and regulatory function. Key words: Hubula tribe language, language’s structure, language’s function, modern era

Winfree oscillators are phase oscillator models of neurons, characterized by their phase response curve and pulsatile interaction function. We use the Ott/Antonsen ansatz to study large heterogeneous networks of Winfree oscillators, deriving low-dimensional differential equations which describe the evolution of the expected state of networks of oscillators. We consider the effects of correlations between an oscillator's in-degree and out-degree, and between the in- and out-degrees of an “upstream” and a “downstream” oscillator (degree assortativity). We also consider correlated heterogeneity, where some property of an oscillator is correlated with a structural property such as degree. We finally consider networks with parameter assortativity, coupling oscillators according to their intrinsic frequencies. The results show how different types of network structure influence its overall dynamics.

This paper discusses the results of identifying possible regularities between the parameters describing the function of interfacial interaction and filtration capacity properties of rocks. The studies have employed real laboratory data, forming four clusters. The capillary pressure curve data and relative phase permeability data were obtained on the same core samples. The authors describe the factors determining the interphase interaction during multiphase fluid flow in a porous medium. On this basis, a method for calculating discrete values of the interfacial interaction function based on the results of laboratory studies of relative phase permeability is proposed. For the approximation of the interfacial interaction function, the four-parametric formula following from derivative of Buckley — Leverett function at assignment of relative phase permeability functions by means of Corey functions is substantiated. The authors suggest two variants of interphase interaction function formulation. They prove that for the first variant, there is a stable dependence only for one parameter, and for the second variant — with three parameters. Thus, one of the parameters in all cases has appeared close to one. The results show that the error of the detected dependencies on the deviation of the parameters has a linear dependence, and for both variants of the interfacial interaction function, the ranking of the parameters is different according to their influence on the error. Using a test sample, the authors show that the dependencies obtained allow determining the parameters of the interphase interaction function with an acceptable error.

The research discussed the linguistic sign in slang language used in drug transactions. Slang language was found based on interviews conducted with drug dealers and drug users in Ranah Parak Rumbio, South Padang subdistrict, Padang City. The aim of the research was to determine the signifier and signified found in drug slang language. Furthermore, the research determined the order of signification by analyzing the meaning of slang language based on its context. The data were obtained using the direct observation method. This was achieved by using interview techniques. The interviews were conducted with three informants. There were two men who used to be drug dealers and former drug users, and a woman who was an observer and anti-drug activist. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by using equalizing and differentiation techniques. Data analysis was carried out using semiotic by referring to the linguistic signs theory proposed by Saussure and the theory of order of signification by Barthes. In conclusion, it is found that slang is formed in word categories, abbreviations, and phrases. Then, the factors of language are also considered, such as time and place of the background, the number of participants in the interaction, talking topic, and interaction function. These factors then determine the use of slang terms between drug users and dealers.
