Autonomous Vessel with an Air Look, is a research project that aims to develop autonomous navigation of ships. The system uses three independent sources of information i.e. radar, AIS ? Automatic Identification System and cameras, which can be located on a drone or ship?s superstructure. The article presents the results of testing of an image processing system in real conditions on m/f Wolin.

Abstract Rapid developments in artificial intelligence and image processing have presented many new opportunities for defect detection in manufacturing processes. In this work, an intelligent image processing system has been developed to monitor inter-layer deposition quality during a Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) process. Information produced from this system is to be used in conjunction with other quality monitoring systems to verify the quality of fabricated components. It is tailored to identify the presence of defects relating to lack-of-fusion and voids immediately after the deposition of a given layer. The image processing system is built upon the YOLOv3 architecture and through moderate changes on anchor settings, achieves 53% precision on surface anomaly detection and 100% accuracy in identifying the fabricated components’ location, providing a prerequisite for high precision assessment of welding quality. The work presented in this paper presents an inter-layer vision-based defect monitoring system in WAAM and serves to highlight the feasibility of developing such intelligent computer vision systems for monitoring the WAAM process for defects.

The development and application of mobile portable video capture and image processing systems, as well as the development and improvement of computer multimedia courseware technology have made image processing technology widely used in football project scientific research services. This research mainly discusses the value of video image multiprocessing based on vision sensors in the field of football scientific research. The development and conduct of this research work require the application of sports video image processing technology software to conduct scientific experimental research and analysis on the athletes’ technical and tactical level, evaluate the athletes’ technical and tactical performance through qualitative and quantitative tests, and give different sports items at the same time. Humans can exchange information with the outside world through vision, hearing, and language and can express the same meaning in different ways. However, current intelligent machines or computers require programs to be written in strict accordance with various machine languages. Only in this way can the machine run. In order to enable more people to use complex machines, it is necessary to change the past situation where people adapt to machines. Instead, let the machine adapt to people’s habits and requirements and exchange information with people in the way people are used to, that is, let the machine have the ability to see, hear, and speak. At this time, the machine must have the ability of logical reasoning and decision-making. Use sports video image processing technology and use examples to study and explore practical methods and means that are most in line with the scientific work of the project, and build the most scientific and useful sports video image processing system.. The CCD visual image sensor is used for signal acquisition and image processing when the motion video image processing system is established. Through logical analysis and induction, discuss and prove the intuitiveness, practicability, efficiency, and scientificity of the application of video image processing technology in the field of football scientific research. Finally, in the mathematical statistics method, the statistical software Excel 2003 in the office system is used to perform statistical analysis on all data results and analyze and compare the key kinematic parameters of some sports events. Analyzing the video images of the 2016 European Cup, the average possession rate of the Welsh team is 48%, and the average pass success rate per game is 82.7%. This research helps to improve the ability of football players to analyze, research, and evaluate sports skills.

COVID-19 does not show signs of having disappeared, being a very contagious disease, the WHO recommended limiting the free movement of people, since from its appearance until May 1st, 2021, it caused the death of more than 3.2 million of people around the world. In Peru, it economically affected those people who generated income every day to survive, for this reason some activities were reactivated complying with the biosafety measures that are the use of mandatory mask and social distancing (more than 1 meter). Taking body temperature with an infrared thermometer is an optional measure, generating rejection by specialists, indicating that there is little evidence of its sensitivity and specificity and of its doubtful ability to detect fever. In view of this problem, this article will implement a thermal image processing system to detect possible cases of patients with COVID-19, in such a way that the system performs a more accurate measurement of body temperature, and it can be implemented in any place where such measurement is intended, helping to combat the spread of the virus that currently continues to affect many people. The system has a more accurate measurement of body temperature with an efficiency of 95% at 1 meter between the drone and the person, in such a way that if it presents a body temperature higher than 40°C it could be infected with COVID-19

Image processing technology is a popular practical technology in the computer field and has important research value for signal information processing. This article is aimed at studying the design and algorithm of image processing under cloud computing technology. This paper proposes cloud computing technology and image processing algorithms for image data processing. Among them, the material structure and performance of the system can choose a verification algorithm to achieve the final operation. Moreover, let us start with the image editing features. This article isolates software and hardware that function rationally. On this basis, the structure of a real-time image processing system based on SOPC technology is built and the corresponding functional receiving unit is designed for real-time image storage, editing, and viewing. Studies have shown that the design of an image processing system based on cloud computing has increased the speed of image data processing by 14%. Compared with other algorithms, this image processing algorithm has great advantages in image compression and image restoration.

The article presents an image processing system based on the Raspberry Pi (RPi) platform. At the beginning of the article, the basic assumptions and purpose of the system are discussed. The following section presents the structure and operation of the system. The window application managing the system and allowing to perform contextual and spectral transformations on images as well as the measurement of parameters such as image processing time and mean square error (MSE) was discussed. The transformations performed were based both on ready formulas contained in the OpenCV library and the author's implementations, including the function implementing the Fast Fourier Transform algorithm radix-2. Examples of transformations were presented along with their usefulness. In the end, the development potential of the created system is presented and its application in specific solutions is proposed.
