The purpose of our research was to test the therapeutic efficacy of the acaricide «Simparica®» in combination with the biostimulator «Catosal» and the hepatoprotector «Tioprotectin» for demodicosis in dogs in the conditions of veterinary clinics in the Kamianets-Podilskyi, Ukraine. The study has been performed on dogs of different genders, ages and breeds that had a generalized form of demodicosis (affected at least 6 areas on the body of animals), to test the effectiveness of this drug in different treatment schemes. Acarological studies of scrapings from the skin of experimental animals for the presence of live or dead mites Demodex canis or their eggs have been carried out by the vital method according to D.O. Pryselkova. As a result of the conducted researches the choice of acaricidal drugs and development of complex therapeutic measures for demodicosis of dogs has been experimentally substantiated. The drug «Simparica®» has proved to be quite effective against demodicosis of dogs, even with a single use. The dependence of the effectiveness of the use of prolonged acaricide «Simparica®» on clinical forms of demodicosis has been shown. The absolute therapeutic effect of acaricide is obtained in the scaly form of demodicosis. However, in pustular and mixed clinical forms of demodicosis, its effectiveness decreased to 71.4 and 57.1%, respectively. In combination with the drug of pathogenetic therapy «Catosal» for pustular and mixed forms of demodicosis, the therapeutic efficacy of the drug «Simparica®» increases to 85.7%. When added to the scheme of hepatoprotector “Thioprotectin”, it is possible to achieve 100% therapeutic effect in pustular forms of demodicosis. However, in severe mixed form of demodicosis, the effectiveness was not absolute and was only 85.7%. In case of generalized demodicosis of dogs, regardless of clinical forms, it is recommended to use the acaricide «Simparica®» in combination with the drug «Catosal» and in the combination of «Catosal» and «Thioprotectin».

The Bhakti movement in India attempted reforms by fighting caste rigidities and superstitions. Almost around the same time the Cambridge reformers were attempting to reform the Catholic Church and propagating Protestant ideas. This paper attempts a comparative perspective on George Herbert’s poetry in relation to some aspects of Bhakti poetry in India, especially with reference to Kabir. George Herbert who was a Metaphysical poet is classified as a devotional poet for the corpus of religious poetry he wrote. The approach of this Metaphysical poet and poets like Kabir from the Bhakti movement has certain points of comparison. Certain similarities in the discourse of the disciple as slave to his Lord; as the lover in search of a union etc. finds place in this discussion. This paper engages in a close study of the religious poetry of George Herbert and that of Kabir in relation to the trends of the Bhakti movement. The language used by most Bhakti poets is simple and words from the vernacular languages of India find a presence in pure or mixed form. Kabir uses the ‘sadhukkadi’ or ‘khichdi’ language. Though Herbert wrote in the English language the world-view of both the poets is quite similar. Some of the images and the philosophy that manifests itself in the two poets are examined through this comparative study.

Subject. This article analyzes the role of the factors of the modified model, taking into account the specifics of the recreational sphere. Objectives. The article aims to assess the role of the factors of the modified model for recreational enterprises. Methods. For the study, I used general scientific research methods. Results. Peculiarities of the recreational sphere cause the need to modify the DuPont model. The model is obtained in a mixed form. The model is obtained in a mixed form. This helps take into account the factors of operating and other activities in the financial result and profitability separately. The obtained results help assess the role and importance of factors in the financial management strategy, as well as the reasons for their impact on the efficiency of recreational enterprises. Conclusions. The importance of resource productivity and the increase in the share of operating activities remain underestimated in the model if considering a single enterprise case. For enterprises of the recreational sphere as a whole, there is a need to further study the model by establishing correlations of factors with the performance indicators.

It has been demonstrated that in the conditions of overcoming the consequences of corona crisis an important issue is the organization of business processes, which, as of the time of the study, is carried out on a mixed form. It is substantiated that enterprises should assess their capabilities and be ready to make quick business decisions in the case of reintroduction of quarantine for enterprises. It is substantiated that the organization of marketing research of commodity markets and timely provision of managers of structural units with reliable information is important for the effective conduct of business by domestic enterprises on a mixed form. In the study the sequence of information support for marketing research of the mineral water market has been developed. The dynamics of incomes and the level of demand of mineral water consumers during the period of corona crisis has been determined. As a result of the research it was concluded that the mineral water market, unlike other sectors of the economy, has favorable prospects for further development. A portrait of a mineral water consumer and his level of satisfaction with the quality of mineral water, pricing and assortment policy on the domestic market have been determined. This study will determine consumer preferences for the choice of mineral water and take into account its results by domestic production and trade enterprises. Other enterprises will be able to develop a similar sequence of information support for marketing research of the commodity market in which they carry out their business activities.

Abstract Introduction The pathogenesis of Chronic Chagas Cardiomyopathy (CCC) is not yet fully elucidated. However, dysautonomia is one of the factors involved, in addition to being the essential mechanism in the pathogenesis of the Digestive Form of Chagas Disease (DFCD). The prognostic value of dysautonomia remains speculative, and there are no correlative studies of dysautonomia in CCC and DFCD. Purpose This study has three aims: a) to investigate in patients with CCC the relationship between cardiac dysautonomia, indirectly studied by heart rate variability (HRV), and the prognostic stratification assessed by the Rassi score; b) to compare the HRV in groups with isolated CCC and with the mixed form, i.e. CCC associated with DFCD; c) to evaluate the power of combining HRV indices to predict the risk class of each patient, using machine learning. Methods Thirty-one patients with CCC were classified into three risk groups (low, intermediate and high) according to their Rassi score and had two electrocardiograms (ECG) recorded, i.e. the conventional 12-lead and a single lead, the latter for a period of 10 to 20 minutes. From the single lead ECG, two equally sized RR series were generated and 31 HRV indices were calculated from each. The HRV was then compared between the three risk groups and also regarding the presence or not of concomitant digestive impairment. Taking HRV indices as inputs, four machine learning models were compared in its ability to predict the risk class of each patient. A previous step of attribute selection (sequential feature selection) was applied to identify the most relevant HRV indices for each algorithm. Results Comparing the HRV indices in the three risk groups obtained with the Rassi score, the phase entropy is decreased [0.91 (0.90, 0.91) vs 0.87 (0.86, 0.89); p=0.039] and the percentage of inflection points is increased [66.4 (63.5, 71.2) vs 58.2 (53.4, 63.3); p=0.032] in patients in the high-risk group, compared to the low-risk group. Of the 31 patients with CCC, 14 had the mixed form of the disease, i.e. with associated digestive impairment. In the latter, the triangular interpolation of the RR interval histogram decreased significantly [78.1 (62.5, 101.6) vs 121.1 (80.1, 146.5), p=0.046], while the absolute power in the low-frequency band decreased with strong trend to statistical significance [28.5 (17.1, 97.5) vs 86.9 (44.1, 171.7), p=0.06]. The best predictive model for each risk group was obtained with the Support Vector Machine, reaching an overall F1-score of 0.61. Conclusions The worst prognosis, indicated by the Rassi score, is associated with increased heart rate fragmentation. The combination of HRV indices enhanced the accuracy of the risk stratification. Compared to CCC the mixed form of Chagas' disease displays a decrease in the components of slow heart rate oscillation, suggesting a higher degree of sympathetic autonomic denervation associated with parasympathetic impairment. Objective: To study the frequency and features of the clinical course of cardiovascular pathology in patients with diff erent clinical forms of primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT). Materials and Methods: A retrospective analysis of case histories of 48 patients who received inpatient treatment for PHPT in the endocrinological or surgical departments of two large hospitals in Arkhangelsk from 2005 to 2015 was performed. Results: Among the revealed cases of PHPT, the symptomatic form of PHPT was the most common (88%). Th e analysis showed a high frequency of arterial hypertension (AH) (69%) with a more severe course in patients with a mixed form of PHPT. Th e level of parathyroid hormone (PTH) was higher in patients with AH compared with patients without hypertension and PHPT (p = 0.008). Left ventricular hypertrophy was detected in 60% of patients with a mixed form of PHPT. In a mild form, this complication was not observed. Th e relationship between the level of total blood calcium and PTH and the interventricular septum thickness was revealed by the results of echocardiography (p = 0.036 and p = 0.012). Th e inverse relationship between the duration of the QT interval and the level of ionized blood calcium was shown (p = 0.022).Conclusions: Changes in phosphorus-calcium metabolism provoked by PHPT aff ect the state of the cardiovascular system, which determines the need for increased attention of various specialists to this type of complications in PHPT, timely indication of treatment, and improvement of the quality of patient’s life.

Aim. To analyze and assess the clinical course and changes under instrumental-functional examination (MRI) in the muscles of the obturator apparatus of the rectum in women with anal sphincter insufficiency (ASI).Material and methods. Clinical and instrumental research methods, as well as modern scales for assessing ASI (Wexner score scale), were used in the current study. Results and discussion. The study showed that 110 out of 228 patients with anal sphincter deficiency showed only an organic form of ASI, and 118 (51.8%) had a mixed form (organic and functional). This study shows that the degree of postpartum perineal rupture depends on the factors producing the damage to the pelvic floor muscles.Conclusion. Analysis of the clinical course of ASI in women showed that gender-related factors in 51.8% of cases contributed to the development of a mixed form of the disease. Functional research methods showed that along with the external and internal sphincters of the rectum, the pubo-rectal muscle is damaged in patients with ASI, which should be taken into account when choosing a treatment strategy for the mixed form of ASI.
