The purpose of our research was to test the therapeutic efficacy of the acaricide «Simparica®» in combination with the biostimulator «Catosal» and the hepatoprotector «Tioprotectin» for demodicosis in dogs in the conditions of veterinary clinics in the Kamianets-Podilskyi, Ukraine. The study has been performed on dogs of different genders, ages and breeds that had a generalized form of demodicosis (affected at least 6 areas on the body of animals), to test the effectiveness of this drug in different treatment schemes. Acarological studies of scrapings from the skin of experimental animals for the presence of live or dead mites Demodex canis or their eggs have been carried out by the vital method according to D.O. Pryselkova. As a result of the conducted researches the choice of acaricidal drugs and development of complex therapeutic measures for demodicosis of dogs has been experimentally substantiated. The drug «Simparica®» has proved to be quite effective against demodicosis of dogs, even with a single use. The dependence of the effectiveness of the use of prolonged acaricide «Simparica®» on clinical forms of demodicosis has been shown. The absolute therapeutic effect of acaricide is obtained in the scaly form of demodicosis. However, in pustular and mixed clinical forms of demodicosis, its effectiveness decreased to 71.4 and 57.1%, respectively. In combination with the drug of pathogenetic therapy «Catosal» for pustular and mixed forms of demodicosis, the therapeutic efficacy of the drug «Simparica®» increases to 85.7%. When added to the scheme of hepatoprotector “Thioprotectin”, it is possible to achieve 100% therapeutic effect in pustular forms of demodicosis. However, in severe mixed form of demodicosis, the effectiveness was not absolute and was only 85.7%. In case of generalized demodicosis of dogs, regardless of clinical forms, it is recommended to use the acaricide «Simparica®» in combination with the drug «Catosal» and in the combination of «Catosal» and «Thioprotectin».

Abstract In-situ vaccination is a local intervention in which immune enhancing agents are injected locally into one site of tumor, triggering a T cell immune response locally that then travels to attack cancer throughout the body. We have employed a preclinical strategy whereby the same syngeneic tumor is implanted at two separate sites in the body. One tumor is then injected with the test agents and the resulting systemic immune response, if any, is detected by the regression of the distant, untreated tumor. In this test for abscopal therapeutic effects, the combination of unmethylated CG-enriched oligodeoxynucleotide (CpG) - a TLR9 ligand - and agonist anti-OX40 antibody has provided impressive results. This combination lead to durable disease control and long-term treatment-free survival in multiple mouse models of cancer. CpG induced myeloid cells to secrete cytokines, which subsequently induced OX40 expression on T cells. Thus, we hypothesized that administration sequence and timing may affect the anti-tumor responses of in-situ vaccination. In order to screen for the best sequence and timing we implanted A20 lymphoma tumors bilaterally in opposite sides of the abdomen of Balb/C mice. After tumors were established, one tumor was injected at the selected sequence and timing with the test agents and the resulting immune response was monitored by the measuring growth of the distant, untreated tumor. As opposed to our usual schedule of three injections, even a single injection of CpG (50µg) and anti-OX40 (8µg) resulted in a fully protective systemic immune response. In addition, the cured animals were protected from re-challenge with the same A20 tumor but not unrelated tumors. Decreasing the dose even further to 10µg CpG and 1µg anti-OX40 partially preserved the therapeutic response with a long-term survival of 60%. Concurrent administration of CpG and anti-OX40 resulted in eradication of both local and distant disease. Sequential administration of CpG followed by anti-OX40 preserved the therapeutic efficacy. However, the opposite order of anti-OX40 followed by CpG significantly attenuated the therapeutic effect. While CpG followed by a 24- or 48-hour-delayed anti-OX40 treatment preserved the therapeutic efficacy, a 72h delay in anti-OX40 administration resulted in reduced therapeutic effect. These data demonstrate the importance of the administration sequence for fully protective anti-tumor immune responses. Our data suggest that the anti-OX40 antibody should be administered at the same time as CpG or with only a slight delay but not in the reverse order. Low-dose radiotherapy (2×2 Gy) is an effective treatment for patients with indolent non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. This treatment results in high response rates at the treated site. Since immune infiltrating cells in the tumor microenvironment are essential for in situ vaccination of CpG and anti-OX40 we aimed to assess the effect of adding radiation in our pre-clinical models of lymphoma. We found that the addition of 2x2 Gy radiation did not interfere with the induction of a protective immune response by of CpG and anti-OX40. Given the effectiveness of low dose radiotherapy for local control and its lack of interference with the immune related abscopal response in the pre-clinical model, we are including radiation in our current clinical trials. In addition, we have incorporated our findings in the preclinical model regarding dosing and scheduling of CpG and anti-OX40 antibody to the design of our current in situ vaccination lymphoma clinical trial. Microbial eczema among the various clinical forms of eczema in the structure of incidence ranks is on the second position after the true one. Adults get sick more often than children. The pathogenesis of microbial eczema is based on misfunctions in the immune status and microbial sensitization of the body Due to bacterial background, as well as dysbiosis in the microbiome. The clinical picture of the disease is characterized by asymmetric localization of rashes on the limbs in the form of single plaques. The affected skin is reddish, squamous, slightly infiltrated. Outside the main foci, papulovesicular and pustular lesions, crusts are observed. Rash is not not always accompanied by itching. Microbial eczema was of a limited nature, manifested by coin-shaped foci, dot weeping, crusts. We observed a patient of 15 years before admission to the hospital was ill for 8 months. At the same time, during the last three months, the pathological process on her skin existed acutely without any dynamics. The occurrence of a rash is not associated with anything. Multiple efflorescence were located throughout the skin, on the scalp, ears, in the ear region, on the face, neck, torso, upper and lower limbs, buttocks, accompanied by severe itching. The inflammatory pathological process was represented by excoriations, wet spots, erosions, crusts and erythematous-squamous foci of various shapes and sizes. Dermographism pink. Repeated outpatient treatment brought temporary improvement. Due to the lack of therapeutic effect in the last 3 months, the patient was hospitalized in the branch Kolomensky. A comprehensive clinical and laboratory examination diagnosed disseminated subacute microbial eczema. Against the background of adequate therapy, the anti-inflammatory pathological process was completely resolved. Recommendations are given to maintain the achieved therapeutic effect.

The results of researches on the peculiarities of metabolism in the body of horses of Yakut breed in the winter and spring periods under the environments of Central Yakutia have been presented in the article. Physiological experiments on the digestibility of the main nutrients of the feed have been carried out in the winter (February) and spring (April) periods under the environments of the physiological yard in the Yakutsk Scientific and Research Institute of Agriculture named after M. G. Safronov with using the classical method. Five mares and five geldings of Yakut breed have been selected for researches. The average live weight of mares was 378–410 kg, geldings 394–403 kg. The experimental animals had average fatness. It has been found a higher intake of energy and the main nutrients of hay as a mono feed in winter compared to the spring period. At the same time pregnant mares in winter have been consumed 103,8±3,12 MJ of metabolic energy per head/day, which was 27,3 % significantly higher than in the spring period – 75,4±2,18 MJ (P ≥ 0,999). Geldings have been consumed in the experiment 67,70±2,85 MJ, which was by 43,7 % higher than in the spring period – 38,05 ± 4,40 MJ of metabolic energy per head/day (P ≥ 0,999). Experimental animals have been housed in stalls; there was no energy expenditure for movement, so the amount of energy consumed in winter indicates the production of heat in the animal’s body. Pregnant mares per 100 kg of live weight have consumed 31,5±4,11 MJ of metabolic energy or 33,3 % more than in the spring period – 21,0±1,98 MJ; geldings have consumed 27,69±1,12, which was 41,78 % significantly higher than in the spring – 16,12 ± 0,75 MJ (P ≥ 0,999). The high intake of metabolic energy into the body of Yakut horses in winter is explained by the manifestation of adaptive mechanisms that affect the effective metabolism for survival, adapted to frequent changes in weather conditions and sharp temperature changes. The established differences in the biochemical parameters of blood serum of horses of Yakut breed are associated with changes in the consumption and digestibility of basic nutrients and energy, depending on the ambient temperature.

Background: Controlled drug delivery systems can maintain the concentration of drugs in the exact sites of the body within the optimum range and below the toxicity threshold, improving therapeutic efficacy and reducing toxicity. Mesostructured Cellular Foam (MCF) material is a new promising host for drug delivery systems due to high biocompatibility, in vivo biodegradability and low toxicity. Methods: Ketorolac-Tromethamine/MCF composite was synthesized. The material synthesis and loading of ketorolac-tromethamine into MCF pores were successful as shown by XRD, FTIR, TGA, TEM and textural analyses. Results: We obtained promising results for controlled drug release using the novel MCF material. The application of these materials in KETO release is innovative, achieving an initial high release rate and then maintaining a constant rate at high times. This allows keeping drug concentration within the range of therapeutic efficacy, being highly applicable for the treatment of diseases that need a rapid response. The release of KETO/MCF was compared with other containers of KETO (KETO/SBA-15) and commercial tablets. Conclusion: The best model to fit experimental data was Ritger-Peppas equation. Other models used in this work could not properly explain the controlled drug release of this material. The predominant release of KETO from MCF was non-Fickian diffusion.

Currently, autohemotherapy takes one of the places of honor among; of our therapeutic measures and there is not a single area of practical medicine where oisch is not applied. At the same time, this type of therapy still does not have an exact scientific basis; Thus, there are many different views on the essence of the action of this method, but there are still no precise indications and contraindications for the use of autohemotherapy for certain types of diseases, then the dosage, frequency of injections, their number, etc., vary sharply among different authors. we will review the following issues - the essence of the action of autohemotherapy, the dosage and frequency of injections, the reaction of the body (general, focal, local), the advantage of one or another method of using autoblood injections (intracutaneous, subcutaneous and intramuscular routes of administration) and, finally, morphological changes in blood during this method of treatment.

Organization of care for patients with glomerulonephritis is a rather urgent problem today, due to the high incidence rate and the tendency to progression of renal dysfunction. When discussing treatment issues, it is necessary to pay attention to the fulfillment of three basic requirements for patients, which include normalization of the life regime (in particular, the exclusion of night work, avoiding stressful situations and heavy physical activity when having high blood pressure), the implementation of certain dietary recommendations and prolonged drug treatment [3]. Diseases of the kidneys as the main organ, the affection of which leads to a deterioration of excretory function, require a special diet with a restriction of a number of products. Against the background of glomerulonephritis disruption of the process of glomerular filtration, which in some cases leads to the development of renal failure, it is necessary to reduce the intake of food substances that can have a negative effect on the body — alcohol, smoked meats, spicy, salty foods, preserves, sausages, foods with high protein and salt content. Moreover, one should also take control of the amount of fluid consumed and ensure compliance with the frequency and regularity of food intake.

Glutathione (GSH) transferase deficiency due to paracetamol exposure causes further oxidative stress to liver necrosis. To reduce oxidative stress that can cause damage to the liver of the body requires antioxidants. One plant to treat liver disease is the kelor leaf (because it has an active flavonoid material also has antioxidant activity). This study was conducted to determine the difference of glutathione hepar levels of male white rat induced paracetamol toxic dose by giving kelor leaf extract. The type of research is experimental laboratory in vivo with rancagan randomized post test only control group design. With the stages as follows 1.Leaf Extract Kelor with Ethanol 96%, 2.Perpeteration of experimental animals, 3.Treatment of experimental animals by giving extract of 3-dose of kelor leaf that is KP I 250 mg / 200 gr BB rat, KP II 500 mg / 200 gr BB rat, KP III 1000 mg / 200 gr BB rat  for 14 days combined with paracetamol dose 2 gr / 200 gr BB rat compared with the negative control group (group given only paracetamol dose 2 gr / 200 gr BB rat) and control group positif only fed regular feed for 14 days). The result showed that there was a significant difference mean of GSH levels between all treatment groups obtained p = 0,000 (p <α) p values smaller than 0.05. There was the highest increase of GSH in treatment group II (142,7525 μmol / mg) and lowest dose of GSH in positive control group (57,1812 μmol / mg), dose paracetamol toxic dosage and kelor leaf extract 500 mg / gr BB rat can increase GSH hepar p = 0,000 (p <α) p less than 0 , 05. The conclusion of the test results showed that giving of kelor leaf extract at dose of treatment group II can increase GSH hepar level significantly

Over the last decade, the use of vibration-supported therapeutic measures has been increased. There are many devices in the market that generate whole body vibration, but they can be divided into three groups due to the frequency, amplitude and direction of the vibrations being applied to the body. The aim of the work is to analyze the results of the most important works discussing the use and effectiveness of the therapeutic effect of vibrations on the human body. The studies are indicative of favourable changes to the symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases, neurological dysfunctions, incomplete spinal cord injury, sarcopenia and senile age disorders, osteoporosis, sports injuries. The use of whole body vibration does not result in significant changes to the hemodynamic function during therapy, although appropriate stimulation parameters may induce sufficient cardiovascular response to improve overall physical fitness. In the physiotherapy procedure, the whole body vibration is another means of increasing the effect of the therapy used.
