Over the last two decades, the Republic of Moldova has gone through a complex and controversial way of its development. Determining its vector of development based on the democratic values of Western culture the legal framework has been practically completely revised and created. The concept of reforming the pharmaceutical sector in the Republic of Moldova included: liberalization of prices and freedom from the planned system of economic management while creating the necessary mechanisms for the functioning of the market economy – creating the banking system, establishing the capital market, introducing the national currency, creating other institutions, as well as the huge process of creating a new legal framework.

Scientific research in pharmacy, due to their multifactorial nature, is closely related to modeling of complex static systems. For this purpose, the so-called “input-output” mathematical models, which are built based on the results of the experiment, are widely used. Modeling of static systems based on the experimental data requires the solution of three interrelated tasks: planning of the experiment and its implementation; identification of the model structure and its parameters; approximation, if necessary, of a complex model to a simpler mathematical description.

The aim of the work: features elucidation of the objective structured practical exam (OSPE) on the discipline of “Technology of Drug”, conducting a survey among students to determine the main benefits of OSPE, as well as identifying difficulties that arose during the preparation and passing the exam. Materials and methods: question papers, checklists for examiners and students, questionnaire, questionnaire results, analytical and statistical evaluation of the obtained data. Results. The article presents OSPE features in the discipline “Technology of Drug”. The structure of the question paper by the stations 1, 2, 3 is considered, as well as checklists for examiners and students are presented. To determine the main advantages and disadvantages of the organization and conduction of OSPE, a survey was conducted among graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University. Conclusions. According to the results of the survey, it was found that students noted the high level of organization and conduction of OSPE in the discipline of “Technology of Drug”. At the same time, the difficulties encountered during the preparation for and passing the exam were outlined, including the lack of time to prepare for the exam and the mixed form of education during the year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Key words: OSPE; technology of drugs; checklists; questionnaire; respondents.

The problem of drug counterfeiting is global; therefore, it is relevant for all countries of the world. However, the effectiveness combating the spread of counterfeit medicines (CM) differs in different countries, as evidenced by data on the level of counterfeit. Ensuring proper quality control of drugs in all areas of their circulation requires national regulatory authorities to systematically address these urgent problems; primarily, this concerns the pharmaceutical legislation to counteract the spread of counterfeit medicines and medical devices (MD), as well as to implement the effective state policy in this extremely important area that determines the national security of the state.

The State Budget of Ukraine in 2021 is 159,2 billion UAH. It is 36.8 % more than in 2020, but this amount is still insufficient to cover all the healthcare needs in Ukraine. Economic hardships, the lack of funds in the healthcare system of Ukraine, as well as COVID-19 pandemic have increased the importance of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) as a tool of cost optimization. The introduction of hospital-based HTA along with national / regional HTA allows providing the use of effective, safe and economically justified health technologies that will give our citizens the access to treatment and the rational use of funds, in particular the budget ones. Aim. To analyze the world experience of using hospital-based HTA and its main differences from national / regional HTA. Materials and methods. The scientific information of international and domestic literary sources was analyzed. The methods of content analysis, historical, system-analytical and generalization were used during the research.Results. The authors reviewed the literature in Pubmed and Google Scholar databases devoted to the international experience of hospital-based HTA and its main differences from national / regional HTA. It has been determined that the transfer of the national / regional HTA results to the hospital level is hindered by a number of differences between the country as a whole and hospitals in particular. These include, first of all, features related to demographic indicators, epidemiology of diseases, the level of resistance, local approaches to treatment, various types of equipment used in hospitals, and others. In order to have practical benefits, HTA must be built taking into account the peculiarities of a medical institution where the health technologies studied will be used in the future.Conclusions. The need of effective management of hospital resources when a number of health technologies is increasing, the desire to improve clinical outcomes, improve the quality of life and its expectancy using health technologies with the proven effectiveness and safety, the need to evaluate medical equipment and consider organizational aspects related to introduction of a health technology, as well as assess the current equipment and treatment methods require to develop the scientific and practical approaches to hospital-based HTA and recommendations on collaboration between national / regional and hospitalbased HTA in Ukraine.
