Background: Previous studies had shown that poor quality of early parental attachment is a risk factor for suicide, but few have focus on the mechanism between suicidal ideation and parental attachment. The aim of this study was to explore how parental attachment, anhedonia, and peer attachment were associated with suicidal ideation in adolescents.Method: Participants were enrolled in middle schools, in Hefei, Anhui, China. All participants completed socio-demographic characteristic and standard assessments on parental attachment, peer attachment, anhedonia, and suicidal ideation by paper surveys. The effect of parental attachment on suicidal ideation mediated by anhedonia and peer attachment was analyzed by a structural equation model (SEM) using SPSS AMOS 23.0.Results: The SEM analysis revealed that the standard total effect of parental attachment on suicidal ideation was −0.137 (Z=−27.00, 95% confidence interval [CI; −0.147, −0.127], p<0.001), with a direct effect of parental attachment on suicidal ideation of −0.107 (Z=−21.40, 95% CI [−0.117, −0.098], p<0.001), while the indirect effects were−0.002 (Z=−3.33, 95% CI [−0.003, −0.002], p<0.001) in the pathway of parental attachment-anhedonia-peer attachment-suicidal ideation, −0.019 (Z=−19.00, 95%CI [−0.022, −0.017], p<0.001) in the pathway of parental attachment-anhedonia-suicidal ideation, and−0.008 (Z=−7.00, 95% CI [−0.010, −0.007], p<0.001) in the pathway of parental attachment-peer attachment-suicidal ideation. Conclusion: The study suggested that parental attachment could directly influence suicidal ideation and indirectly influence suicidal ideation via anhedonia and peer attachment. The results emphasized the importance of attachment in infancy and verified the feasibility of intervention on anhedonia and peer attachment to prevent suicidal ideation.

Teachers’ appointments & relocations may create problems for both teachers & educational administers in centralized & developing countries. Policymakers should not only consider school needs but also give attention to teachers’ needs while appointing teachers to schools in a nationwide system. Current regulations in Turkey give priority to vacancies in schools. However, this priority causes partners to live apart from each other or let one of them work in schools located, generally, in rural districts or villages away from the other partner or family member in need of special care of a relative. Teachers who work under this circumstances complain about online forms, and teacher unions ask governmental agencies to reconsider their priorities. Both teacher unions and teachers argue that this system of reappointment causes them to be exhausted and feel unhappy. This study, it is aimed to understand if commuting time is related to teachers’ job satisfaction together with their motivation, gender, seniority, compulsory duty, and marital status. Results indicated that extrinsic motivation, commuting time & gender are significant predictors of job satisfaction. The findings of the study were discussed & possible suggestions are given according to the results.

Abstract Objectives The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence and related risk factors of gallbladder polyps in a northwest Chinese population. Methods A retrospective investigation was conducted on the prevalence and risk factors of gallbladder polyps among subjects who underwent physical examination in Shanxi Harmony Healthy Examination Center, from January 2016 to December 2020. Demographic, serum biochemistry, and ultrasonography data were collected from all patients. The correlations between the prevalence of gallbladder polyps and sex, age, body mass index (BMI), serum biochemistry, liver viral markers were calculated for all patients. Results A total of 67438 people aged from 18 to 75 years were enrolled in the study. Overall prevalence of gallbladder polyps in northwest China was approximately 7.8% and with the highest prevalence among middle-aged men. Analysis risk factors for increased odds ratios (ORs) of gallbladder polyps development were female (OR = 0.746; 95%CI, 0.624–0.891, P = 0.001) and BMI(25-27.5kg/m2) (OR = 1.243; 95%CI, 1.035–1.494, P = 0.020), BMI(≥ 27.5 kg/m2) (OR = 1.274; 95%CI, 1.038–1.562, P = 0.020). Other demographic characteristic and serum biochemistry parameters, including blood pressure, blood lipids, liver and renal function, liver viral markers did not correlate with the prevalence of gallbladder polyps. Conclusions Prevalence of gallbladder polyps among northwest Chinese people are a little higher to those reported for other populations. Male gender and BMI were strong risk factors for gallbladder polyps formation.

We extend relational demography theory by introducing kinship as a new demographic characteristic of categorization. We theorize that family firm employees’ kinship similarity (family vs. nonfamily), kinship tie (child vs. other familial relationship), and gender (female vs. male) uniquely affect their organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Data collected from 209 family CEO–employee dyads indicate that male family employees, especially sons of the CEO, display the highest OCB when altruistic leadership behavior is high, whereas daughters and other female family employees display consistently high OCB, confirming that employees’ experiences in family firms are simultaneously shaped by their kinship characteristics and gender.

Abstract ObjectiveThis study aimed to explore the characteristics of acetabular dome impaction fractures(ADIF) and evaluate the clinical outcomes. MethodsTwenty-two ADIF treated by single surgeon were analyzed. The location and size of impaction was measured through Mimics. Patients’ demographic, characteristic data, surgical data and clinical outcomes were collected. The quality of reduction was assessed using criteria described by Matta. Functional outcomes were evaluated using modified Merle d’Aubigné score and SF-36.Results40.91% of the ADIF located at the posterosuperior quadrant,36.36% of the ADIF located at anterosuperior quadrant, 22.73% of the ADIF involved both areas. The average impacted size was 467.24±308.25mm2. The average percent of the impacted was 17.18±8.94%(impaction size/ lunar surfaces). At the final follow-up, the rate of excellent and good outcome per Matta’s radiographic grading was 77.27%. The modified Merle d’Aubigné score graded as excellent in 5(22.73%), good in 10(45.45%), fair in 5(22.73%), and poor in 2(9.09%). The mean score of SF-36 was 76.76±20.18. Avascular necrosis (AVN) developed in two patients. Heterotopic ossification(HO) developed in one patient. Sciatic nerve injury developed in one patient. Arthritis developed in one patient. ConclusionsThe ADIF can locate at the posterosuperior quadrant, the anterosuperior quadrant or involved both areas. Understanding the characteristics of the dome impaction can aid surgeons during reduction and fixation. Meanwhile, good to excellent outcomes and a high degree of patient satisfaction can be achieved in majority of the patients.

ABSTRACT            Patient satisfaction reflects the quality of an institution’s delivery of health care services. Patient satisfaction is a critical factor in improvement or complete recuperation to wellness because satisfied patients will mean better compliance to treatment or follow up. As reported in the 2017 Annual OPD census of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, there were 2617 total patient consultations. Majority of these (2138 or 81.7 %) were obstetrical cases. The average number of consultations per day (for Obstetrics and Gynecology patients combined) is 91. Therefore, the Out-Patient Clinic plays an important role in prenatal care specifically the prevention of adverse maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality.            This study aimed to assess the level of patient satisfaction among obstetrical patients in the Out Patient Department of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Section at Metropolitan Medical Center from July 1, 2018 to July 31, 2018 and to see the relationship between socio-demographic characteristic and the level of patient satisfaction.            This is a descriptive, cross sectional study. The level of patient satisfaction assessed as to physical facilities, interaction between doctor and patient, interaction between nurses and patient, and registration service. There were sixty three subjects in this study. Sixty three  were satisfied with inclusion criteria. The validated questionnaire was the pretested questionnaire which was 96 % valid and reliable by Cronbach’s analysis.            Statistical analysis was done which showed respondents were generally satisfied. There were significant relationship association between socio-demographic characteristics and level of patient satisfaction with P value < 0.05.Key Word : Patient Satisfaction, Socio Demographic Characteristic
