Abstract: The advancement of online strategic communication for receiving and disseminate information by Public Relations Officers (PRO) especially the government sector has been driven by the high use of the internet among Malaysians. The use of social media as a medium of information delivery is one of the steps taken by the government to improve the quality of information delivery to ensure broad participation and involvement among the people at various levels. This is a conceptual paper based on literature research about Governmental Public Relations and dialogic communication theory. Accordingly, the theory used to explain this study is Dialogue Theory where it discusses five main aspects; mutuality, propinquity, empathy, risk and commitment. There are four (4) primary objectives for conducting this study based on independent variables of dialogue theory. This comprehensive study can help explain the extent of the impact of strategic communication via online public relations on the sustainability of corporate communications. Based on digital currents as the primary choice, the public relations strategy commonin every organization’s activity needs to be processed more critically and ideally so that society can feel the efficiency of this organization as a dynamic service provider and in line with modernity. Three foundational principles are introduced: intelligent systems such as those that would pass the Turing test should display multi-agent or interactional intelligence; multi-agent systems should be based on conceptual structures common to all interacting agents, machine and human; and multi-agent systems should have an underlying interactional logic such as dialogue logic. In particular, a multi-agent rather than an orthodox analysis of the key concepts of knowledge and belief is discussed. The contrast that matters is the difference between the different questions and answers about the support for claims to know and claims to believe. A simple multi-agent system based on dialogue theory which provides for such a difference is set out.

This paper explores Canada’s communications approach to the population during the global pandemic of COVID-19. Canada’s perceptive risk communication plan consists of quick response, transparency, and credible figures as representatives of information that are deemed the current principles of success (as of April 2020). The literature review inaugurates the necessary definitions for the topic and provides detailed information about the action Canada has taken in the 2020 pandemic, while the discussion evaluates and debates Canada’s communicative strengths while acknowledging areas for improvement. Following the tactics explored, comparisons are made against the United States’ pandemic response along with a review of practices to avoid in risk communication, such as blame. Finally, transformative dialogue theory is analyzed as a potential answer to the successful interactions between the Canadian government, authoritative figures, and the public.

As a focus of introduction since the early 1990s of the twentieth century, Bakhtin’s theroy has significantly influenced the research, criticism and writing activities of the Vietnamese literary circle. Bakhtin’s foundational concepts, especially the dialogical principle, have urged Vietnamese writers to renovate their thinking for novels and their forms of creativity. This article is based on Bakhtin's dialogue theory to identify the movements and renovations of Vietnamese novels in the early twenty-first century. Accordingly, many novels that have gone from “multiphonics” to “polyphony” in the narrative language tone not only demonstrate the intersubjective dialogic feature but also bear the intertextuality dialogic sense. Particularly, novels have been transformed into a language play with endless dialogues between storytellers and characters, among characters as well as among writers, characters and readers, etc.

The author attempted to present the following main theories of teaching religion: the theory of personality, theory of authenticity, theory of testimony, theory of the Holy Spirit, dialogue theory, proclamation theory and teaching theory. All of the theories with their obvious advantages, claim the broadly understood theory of teaching to be the most useful in the practical activities. The teaching theory contains the most important elements of other theories. It has a huge potential for explanation, thus becoming the essence of all theories of teaching religion. It ultimately determines the most effective model of practical activities that make up the process of modern religion teaching. This article refers directly to the paradigm of the theoretical teaching of religion and religious knowledge, while indirectly to the other paradigms, because the theory of teaching religion (like any other teaching theory) determines the type and quality of its practice.

Nøkkelord: Eksempeltekster, «Sirkelen for undervisning og læring», dialogteori, dekonstruksjon, felles tekstkonstruksjon «Earlier, we threw students in at the deep end». Use of model texts in writing instruction among four Norwegian teachers Abstract The didactics of model texts has ancient roots, and has received renewed interests since the 1980s, particularly in Australia. In this article, four teachers, teaching Norwegian at the lower and upper secondary school, tell how they have made use of model texts since these were introduced into writing education with the revision of the Norwegian curriculum in 2013 (LK13). Their accounts are seen in light of the planning model “Teaching Learning Cycle”. This article concludes that the teachers generally fulfill the intentions behind the planning model. At the same time, the interviews show an unfulfilled potential in the use of model texts, for instance a lack of collaborative writing. Keywords: Model texts, “Teaching Learning Cycle”, dialogue theory, deconstruction, collaborative writing

We find an increased interest in the concept of employee engagement within the area of organizational and corporate communication. Employee engagement is an umbrella term for a number of cognitive, emotional and physical aspects (Kahn, 1990) of relating positively to one’s work, and research within this area has mostly connected employee engagement to organizational productivity and effectiveness. In this paper, we suggest a new approach to employee engagement by relating it to employee communication and placing it within dialogue theory (Buber, 1970) combined with Bamberg’s (1997) positioning theory. Our case is a strategy meeting on the topic of how a corporate philosophy devised by top management and entitled “Business Kind2Mind” is interpreted by managers and what they view is the best way to implement the philosophy within subsidiaries. Theorizing engagement dialogically enables a shift from instrumental perspectives to a more interpretive approach in which true mutuality entails participants’ views being heard and incorporated in the corporate philosophy, and engagement is not purely about efficiency and outcome. A dialogical approach enables us to conceive of employee communication not as only upwardly or downwardly directed between manager and employee, but as interactional, with mutual change.

This article argues that the rhetorical dialogue theory is a sound approach to the analysis of home press. The article proceeds from the assumption that the process of planning dialogues aimed at a certain task and their further implementation contribute to achieving corporate business objectives. The findings indicate that the strategic motives behind publications in magazines for employees consist in promotion of corporate values via dialogue-unison.
