With a shift in moving towards the 4th industrial revolution, digital storytelling has been identified as a novel way of facilitating teaching and learning. This paper will be aimed at offering an understanding of the experience and perspective of occupational therapy students in using digital storytelling as a reflective tool as an assignment as part of their undergraduate and masters occupational therapy curriculum at a university in South Africa. A descriptive qualitative study was undertaken, and five participants were purposively recruited. Individual semistructured interviews were conducted as well as a focus group with participants. An inductive analysis revealed two themes: Reflections on relevance within the occupational therapy curriculum and Is technology the new direction? The findings conclude that digital storytelling as a medium to showcase reflections on identifying formation was an innovative and novel way of documenting the reflective experiences of occupational therapy students.

This study examines the urgency and relevance of ḥifẓ al-lisān to be included as a part of al-ḍharūriyyāt from the five main points (al-ḍharūriyyāt al-khams) which have to be maintained and is the main level in the study of maqāṣid al-sharī'ah. The transformation of ḥifẓ al-lisān as maqāṣid al-sharī'ah al-ḍarūriyyah has a pivotal role in today's contemporary era. This study only focus on two important aspects such as how ḥifẓ al-lisān is being used as an important part of maqāṣid al-sharī'ah in the al-ḍharūriyyāt and to what extent the urgency and relevance of ḥifẓ al-lisān as maqāṣid al-sharī'ah in the contemporary era. This study employed inductive analysis as a method of analysis. The sources are books related to maqāṣid al-sharī'ah written by Islamic jurists. The results of this study reveal that ḥifẓ al-lisān is suitable and urgent to be included as a part of maqāṣid al-ḍarūriyyah based on the arguments of aqli and naqli as well as phenomena that occur in the today’s contemporary era. Ḥifẓ al-lisān is necessary to do in terms of harmonizing life of society, nation and state. However, by ignoring ḥifẓ al-lisān has an impact on the emergence of negative attitudes such as provocation, slander, sarcasm, racism, spreading hoax news, hate speech and others. This negative attitude must be stopped because it certainly creates mafsadat for the community, nation and state.

[Partial-Simultan Approach and Inductive Analysis: An Effective Method of Searching and Understanding Prejudicial Hadith. This paper aims to describe and analyze the tracing of the hadiths in proving the authenticity of Abu Hurairah's prejudiced hadiths that were taken by al Bukhari through partial and simultaneous approaches, and to analyze his fiqhul hadith. The partial approach used in testing the authenticity of prejudiced hadith is carried out by examining the authenticity of the narrators, examining the continuity of the sanad, and examining the obedience of the hadith. Meanwhile, the simultaneous approach is carried out by tracing, analyzing, and concluding the role of tawabi 'and shawahid hadiths. The prejudiced hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah which was takhrij al Bukhari are hadiths that has a quality sahih lidhatih. Besides that, this hadith is also a famous hadith based on the research of the tawabi 'and his syawahid. The hadith also gave an understanding to Muslims in order to avoid prejudice. Prejudice is the most lying word. Bad prejudice will give birth to distrust, apologetics, truth claims, negative labeling, and discrimination. All of this generally leads to conflict, violence and bloodshed, not peace, harmony and brotherhood. This understanding is obtained by means of inductive analysis.]

Due to the rapid transformation of the digitization era, we witness the emergence of some products in conjunction with the transformation. Especially, from the financial perspective, Bitcoin is one of the most remarkable examples of digital cryptocurrencies based on blockchain. The research problem of this study revolves around the concept of blockchain and its impact on the Shariah ruling for Bitcoin. Thus, this study aims to analyze the relationship between blockchain and cryptocurrencies to address the impact of Shariah ruling in digital technologies. To obtain the objectives of this research, a descriptive and inductive analysis approach is adopted. The findings of the study show that blockchain technology is worthy of benefits while it has advantages as well as disadvantages that require to be resolved. The Shariah ruling of blockchain depends on its applications, and it (Shariah ruling) varies from case to case since it is a tool and open source for all. In addition, considering the strength of technology and its advantages does not suffice to consider that technology being permissible from the Shariah perspective.

Sustainable finance has received increasing attention over the last years. Nonetheless, the meaning of the term remains ambiguous. This article approaches this ambiguity by understanding sustainable finance as a contested concept, whose meaning has been subject to varying interpretations by different actors. To map these interpretations, the article offers an inductive analysis of the network of actors that concern themselves with sustainable finance. Inside of this network actors offer competing interpretations of sustainable finance which can be conceptualised as frames. Using network analysis and interviews I identify five frames that are present in three periods between 1998 and 2018. Distinct communities advance a Socially Responsible Investment frame, a risks and opportunities frame, a climate finance frame, a critical frame and an integrated frame that tries to bring the different actors together. Describing the emergence of these frames, their position in the network and their relations to each other can add to our understanding of sustainable finance as it complements existing authoritative classifications and histories of the topic.

Trash talking is a contentious and prevalent practice in traditional sports but few studies have examined its practice in esports – a computer-mediated form of sports competition in videogaming. This study used practice theory to identify different forms and dialectical relationships of trash talking in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Fifty hours of structured observations of professional tournaments were conducted followed by semi-structured interviews with fifteen spectators/casual gamers. Inductive analysis of data based on practice theory-related constructs identified varying perspectives on trash talk, and six distinct forms. Trash talk was directed towards players from opposing players, coaches, fans, casters and analysts. ‘Teabagging’ was the most controversial, but a predominantly positive ethos for trash talk was found, such that it was a distinct part of this esports scene. Theoretical and practice-oriented implications are discussed and a conceptualization of the practice of trash talk is given to encourage further debate and discussion in the field.

Drag performance has entered mainstream British culture and is gaining unprecedented appreciation and recognition, yet no sociological accounts of this transformation exist. Using an inductive analysis of in-depth interviews with 25 drag performers, alongside netnography of media and other public data, this article develops a sociological understanding of the mainstreaming of drag. There are two clear reasons for the success of drag. First, there is a pull towards drag: it is now seen as a viable career opportunity where performers receive fame rather than social stigma in a more inclusive social zeitgeist, even though the reality is more complex. Second, there is a push away from other creative and performing arts because heteronormative perspectives persist through typecasting and a continued professional stigma associated with drag. In calling for a sociology of drag, future avenues for research on contemporary drag are discussed, alongside the need for the sociology of cultural and creative industries to incorporate sexuality as both a subject and analytic lens.
