In this paper, a weighted logarithmic barrier interior-point method for solving the linearly convex constrained optimization problems is presented. Unlike the classical central-path, the barrier parameter associated with the per- turbed barrier problems, is not a scalar but is a weighted positive vector. This modi cation gives a theoretical exibility on its convergence and its numerical performance. In addition, this method is of a Newton descent direction and the computation of the step-size along this direction is based on a new e cient tech- nique called the tangent method. The practical e ciency of our approach is shown by giving some numerical results.

Introduction. The ambiguous attitude of professionals in the field of education, students and their parents to modernization based on ICT, differences of regional educational systems in their provision with digital tools have heightened the need for research on the relevant problem associated with the implementation of the federal project called “Digital School”. The purpose of this study is to analyze the vectors of the impact of digital learning technologies on functional and psychophysiological state of students' organisms. Materials and Methods. The authors have conducted a theoretical analysis of normative and legislative documents, the latest scholarly publications on the stated problem, mainly for the recent three years, using the methods of analogy, comparison, generalization and concretization. Results. The article summarizes the contradictory results of empirical studies confirming both positive and negative effects of digital educational gadgets that differ in technology and context on psychophysiological and somatic parameters of health and learning performance. The authors emphasize the idea that the positive vector of the “digital” school can dominate over the negative one only in those educational settings where the teaching staff creates a learning environment aimed at maintaining hygienic safety of children's life. A prerequisite for this is professional development of teachers who are ready to work in a digital environment. Conclusions. “School” gadgets are innovative tools, the adequate use of which contributes to improving the quality of education, without a negative impact on the psychological comfort and psychosomatic health of students.

The paper considers the key aspects of risk management in relation to the technological integration of economic entities. It is emphasized that the deepening of the technological chain includes the integration of resources of related production facilities and is undergoing changes in the context of accelerated digitalization, environmental transformation of the world economy. In this regard, the risk management system, which includes strategic mapping, systematization and risk assessment, as well as management control over financial, economic, scientific and technological types of risk, is of great importance. The authors highlight the trends of technological transformation of the global energy complex, which determine the promising directions of technological integration of the oil and gas sector for the development of carbon-neutral energy. As a positive vector, the development and implementation of innovations that improve environmental safety, as well as new technologies for the production of pure hydrogen from natural gas and recycling processes are shown. The conducted research allowed us to identify the scientific and institutional prerequisites for managing the risks of technological integration and to link them with risk management tools

Introduction: There are several tropical mosquito borne infections, such as Malaria and Dengue, these are the two major and common arthropod borne infections that cause high morbidity and mortality in many patients and are major public health concern worldwide. Concurrent malaria and dengue infection is an important condition that is infrequently reported. Aim: To find out the prevalence rate of co-infection for both dengue and malaria and also to associate the severity of such co-infections with symptoms and haematological parameters. Materials and Methods: In observational cross-sectional study, samples were collected from 604 febrile patients clinically suspected for malaria and dengue attending the Medicine Out Patient Department (OPD) of Dhiraj Hospital, Gujarat, India. The samples were diagnosed for malaria by using rapid malaria antigen test kit and peripheral blood smear microscopy for the identification of Plasmodium spp. The dengue NS-1 antigen, (Immunoglobulin) IgM and IgG antibodies rapid kit were use to rule out dengue infection. The statistical analysis done by software EPI info. Results: In the present study, out of 604, 58 patients (9.6%) were positive for malaria and 80 patients (13.24%) were positive for dengue, while 21 patients (3.47%) were having concomitant infection with both dengue and malaria. The most affected age group was 31-60 years, 45.53%. The study revealed male preponderance (61.59%), hepatomegaly and jaundice were seen in 52.38% patients, haemorrhagic manifestations in 23.80%, kidney failure in 4.76% (1), and thrombocytopenia (platelet count <150,000/cubic millimeter (cmm)) were noted in 95.23% patients. Conclusion: It is mandatory to test any febrile patient for both malaria and dengue so that the diagnosis of the patient is not held back by missing any one. The clinicians who treat febrile patients in or from endemic areas must thoroughly examine and diagnose for both malaria and dengue, still one or the other is positive. Vector control, health education and good hygiene are community based preventive measures that are needed to control both the diseases.

The hotel industry is a part of the hospitality industry that specializes in providing accommodation services to clients. In recent years, more and more people around the world perceive traveling as an essential part of life. The article considers the dynamics of the hotel industry market during 2014-2018; a tendency of its increasing is revealed. Data on the level of occupancy of the hotel industry around the world are presented, as well as data on global revenue per available room in 2018-2019 are analyzed. It is established that in 2019 the growth of hotel occupancy was slower than in 2018, due to a number of reasons, such as: Brexit, exchange rate fluctuations in Venezuela and Argentina, a large increase in the hotel market offer in Europe and more. The hotel and number fund of the largest international hotel chains and its changes from 2014 to 2018 are studied and the positive vector of their development during the this period is determined. It is noted that the introduction of information and communication technologies in the global hotel industry is an important and urgent step to increase the number of travelers, because online booking of travel services, online travel agencies, online self-booking at airlines, car rental companies and hotels are becoming more popular with tourists. In addition, the possibilities of information and communication technologies are necessary for the promotion of business tourism. It is substantiated that information and telecommunication technologies stimulate the creation of innovations in tourism. The negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the hotel industry in 2020 is considered, namely: cancellation of reservations, all-time low level of hotel reservations, dismissal of employees, cancellation of dividend payments by global hotel chains, as well as delay of capital costs. It is proved that the hotel industry is in a great crisis. It is proposed to take measures at the global level to protect the tourism industry in general and the hotel industry in particular, concerning the activities of public and private funds to help the most affected enterprises and employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as finding creative and innovative ways to overcome the crisis and bail out the hotel industry.

We offer an extended understanding of the linguistic term distribution. We list its possible constructs in various communicative acts and communicative-semantic situations in the aspect of a new linguistic paradigm – “Emotive linguoecology”. We distinguish several constructs for the distribution of the communicative interaction of speakers. Each type of construct is illustrated with examples from the history and modern life of the Russian language, as well as fiction autobiographical literature, pedagogical parables and Internet resources. We substantiate that the modern era is characterized by the presence of createme, emotionalization and expressivization of society, as evidenced by the ecology of communication. We argue that one of the main tasks of modern world linguistics is to curb human emotions with language, its linguoplastics and reorientation of all types of communication to a positive vector. To consider linguistic facts, we propose a non-trivial approach to understanding the term concept of linguistic distribution, namely, its extended understanding: word position from right to left (contact / discount / distant), action, situation, event, confession, culture, social environment, micro-, macrocontext, chapter / section context, book parts, vertical context of the entire book, vertical context of all texts of one author , the vertical context of all books by all authors, the specific culture of all authors of fictional and non-fictional works - the global mega-context of some global word / global semantic universum.

The purpose of this article is to examine Bulgarian-Russian relations. The author provided a detailed analysis of some economic areas of bilateral cooperation, taking into account transformations in the international system, European sanctions, and scientific prerequisites for further development. The material presents a brief analysis of the course of the recent mutual meetings of the heads of state, as well as their representatives. The author also considers the prerequisites for the formation of diplomatic relations between Russia and Bulgaria. The author expresses the opinion that there exists a positive vector of development of political dialogue with regards to the analysis of the leading parties in Bulgaria and cultural similarity of countries. The author paid particular attention to trade and economic cooperation, using official statistics of the Federal Customs Service of Russia are given (based on the report on foreign trade between Russia and Bulgaria in 2018: trade, exports, imports, structure, goods, dynamic). Russia ranked sixth in the number of foreign tourists visiting Bulgaria. Therefore, the sphere of tourism in bilateral relations needs more detailed review. The decline for 2018 can only be attributed to the World Cup in Russia, intense competition from other areas, as well as the fluctuation of the exchange rate of ruble. The author considered business forums such as, for example, “Bulgarian Business Day in Russia: Bulgaria — a bridge to the European Union” and cooperation in the field of education and science, with Financial University as the leading partner of the Bulgarian universities. The author discussed some issues of regional cooperation within the framework of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) as the platform for dialogue between the countries. The material is dedicated to the celebration of 140 years of diplomatic relations between Russia and Bulgaria.
