Green building practices (GBP) constitute the foundation of sustainable construction development. In order to fulfill the green building development in Qatar, this study will shed some light on the current status of GBP in Qatar’s construction projects and assess the level of intention of engineers to adopt GBP. A total of 378 valid questionnaires were gathered and analyzed using SPSS v23. The researchers found that the lack of knowledge of GBP and high costs of materials required for GBP use were among the factors that could keep engineers from adopting GBP. Importantly, the study found that engineers, regardless of their age group, roles, occupation, educational level, experience, and income, had the same level of intention to adopt GBP. This study could significantly help the government and decision makers improve and accelerate the implementation of GBP in Qatar’s construction projects.

One of the crucial factors determining the state and level of the organization in the market is the trust in the organization. The work aims to modify and improve the concept of trust in the organization by R. Shaw and to develop a methodology for identifying ideas about trust in the organization. Based on R. Shaw’s “Methodology for assessing the level of trust in the organization” and the three key imperatives of trust, 20 unfinished sentences were developed, each of which had to be completed with one or more words/phrases, based on the respondents’ perceptions and what is characteristic of them. Based on the results obtained at the first stage of the study, statements were developed that were included in the questionnaire. As a result of processing the obtained data through content analysis, the following components were identified in the structure of each imperative of trust: effectiveness, decency, caring for others. A methodology for identifying beliefs was developed and tested for reliability-consistency. In the modified concept of R. Shaw, the selected components can be correlated with three group roles that a successful leader should have: facilitator, mediator and moderator.

Theories of social roles neglect social clusters. However, accounting for clusters is essential because individuals in social networks (e.g., social media) cannot oversee the whole network and have to restrict their interactions to local substructures. Roles that do not account for this cluster formation may lead to misinterpretations of the network’s dynamics and functions. This article proposes a theory of social roles in large social networks. We group roles detected in previous empirical studies into meta-roles and embed them along two dimensions, strategicness describing whether the person works towards a particular goal or not, and the type of strategy (selfish or group-oriented). We extend this framework by adding a cluster dimension describing to what extent a person’s interactions are embedded locally or globally in the network. We argue that empirical role analyses would benefit from our theory by systematically accounting for complex structures specific to the network perspective, generalising empirical findings beyond individual case studies, and understanding human interactions better.

The purpose of this research was to identify performance and determine the strategy for improving the performance of fish farmers groups in this area, which has excellent and dominant potential in freshwater aquaculture. There were about 131 fish farmers and 11 fish hatchery and rearing groups from this region's six research sample villages. The identification results of the fishbone diagram analysis showed that the fish farmer group's growth and development, in general, were still low, based on several dominant categories, namely infrastructure, fisheries extension performance, contribution performance, and the interests of fish farmers. In detail, the causes were: 1) insufficient facilities and infrastructure; 2) management in implementing fish farmers groups function has not run optimally; 3) the lack of fisheries extension workers; 4) the lack of contribution among group members; 5) relationship between fish farmers groups and local government institutions was still low; 6) fisheries activities were dominated by certain people; and 7) the interests of the fish farmers to form groups were still low. As the results of the SWOT analysis, the fish farmers group's performance development strategy was carried out by improving the performance of group roles and functions through mentoring and facilitating group activities.

The article discusses psychological issues of the role repertoire of university students in a situation of danger. Topicality of the problem is related to the wide range of threats a group may face, and its low scientific knowledge. The purpose of the research presented in the article is to study the nature of the distribution of roles in the group when solving security problems. The main research hypothesis is the assumption that the need to overcome danger may contribute to the repertory and functional specialisation of roles in the group caused by the fact and type of danger. Achieving this goal required an experiment. When organising it, ethical restrictions related to the inadmissibility of purposeful placement of a person in a situation of threat to life and health were taken into account. This determined the use of role-playing capabilities as the basis of the experiment. 10 student groups (10≤n≤15) with a high level of group cohesion according to the Carl Emil Seashore’s index were involved in the experiment. Each group was offered three dangerous situations, differing in the “field” and “effect” of danger, and its participants were required to discuss, play and reflect the repertoire and functional content of the necessary roles. Experts were engaged to analyse the empirical data. According to the results of the study, two types of roles demanded by a dangerous situation were identified – those aimed at overcoming the threat (initiator, expert, developer, coordinator, controller, commentator) and those aimed at supporting group members (optimist, nihilist, conformist, dogmatist). It is established that danger by its very fact specialises the functions of group roles. Each type of hazard increases the significance of certain roles. Regardless of the type of danger, the group is most in demand for the roles of optimist, conformist and developer. The study is promising to continue on other sample compositions and arsenals of dangerous situations.

<p class="Default"><em><span>The study was conducted in Batang Regency, Central Java. Still high levels of family poverty in this area, especially the condition of the family head women and tend to have non-permanent work, make the authors interested in doing this in-property research. Research methods using quantitative mixed methods are strengthened by qualitative analysis. The sampling technique uses stratified random sampling, using the Slovin formula to determine the magnitude of the number of respondents. The study population numbered 535, with a total sample of research were 229 female heads of households. The results showed that indicators of group roles and companion roles had a very large contribution in encouraging the characteristics of women's household heads to be more empowered. Through a companion role, making a family of female heads more actively communicating. Through the development of public speaking, establishing a critical culture in the group, thus growing self-confidence, forming a empowered, independent, and potential self. Important research is conducted to see the extent to which the women's head program has walked the trunk, creating many tough women. Research novelty was obtained based on a combination of group communication attributed to economic empowerment.</span></em></p>

The article examines the problem of the development of constructive relationships among the pupils of the Kyrgyz orphanage through artistic and applied creativity. Children living in an orphanage are characterized by pronounced destructive relationships, impaired social adaptation. Many of the children in the orphanage display destructive patterns of interaction, weakness in conscious regulation of behavior, frequent outbursts of aggression, and a low degree of reflexive activity. These results gave rise to the need to create an author's group methodology. It contains situations and tasks with the use of non-traditional modern materials and stimulating creative games to form constructive interaction between children. As a result of the use of the methodology of group artistic and applied activities among the pupils of the orphanage, there is an increase in the number of positive choices in sociometry. Thus, joint group lessons reduced the level of rejection of each other's pupils, increased cooperation and communication, they became more tolerant of the “outcast” members of their group. In children brought up in an orphanage, in the process of participating in a program of group artistic and applied activities, positive group roles are formed.
