To enable more efficient work, educational templates have been created for various contexts: online learning, assessments, video creation, document creation, and others. This work involves the exploration of 191 template-related digital learning objects shared on a learning object repository/referatory, an LMS-related object-sharing site, social slideshow sharing site, and social video sharing site, as an environmental scan. This work culminates in a definition of a “tactical and substantive educational template” (TASET) as a collaborative object and various requisite features for quality and heritability.

The branding of a product or service is now more creative. One of them is using video. The right video can give potential buyers a positive perspective. However, there are obstacles in making attractive branding with videos, namely the ability to package attractive videos such as editing sound and images, dubbing and adding text. Another obstacle is the distribution of the video itself. Video creation sometimes requires applications with large resources. Meanwhile, as micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), it is still rare to have computers with high enough specifications. As a solution to this problem, community service activities were carried out by the Samarinda State Polytechnic team to MSME owners in the city of Samarinda using the Kinemaster. The implementation of this activity is carried out for one day to meet face to face with online mentoring for one week. The method of implementation is carried out by lectures, practices, discussions and questions and answers. This intensive service was given to 35 participants. A total of 28 participants succeeded in making business product branding videos with a duration of 1 to 2 minutes

Knowledge Translation (KT) is a dynamic and iterative process that includes synthesizing, disseminating, exchanging, and ethically sound application of knowledge to improve health and strengthen the health care system. It facilitates sharing the information generated through research outcomes with the public, the policymakers, or others for further scaling up or continuation of the interventions. Literature suggests a substantial gap exists in communicating with the decision-makers. BRAC JPGSPH produced a documentary/video that iterates how BRAC’s revised medical treatment loan program (MTL+) works with its microcredit clients and modalities. After reviewing all possible options for communication, the video was chosen as the best knowledge translation tool. The video creation and dissemination process are comprised of four phases: pre-production, production, post-production, and exhibition. The video production team reviewed documents and articles and conducted multiple interviews before developing the script. Later, a series of interviews were taken with the beneficiaries who receive medical treatment loans, mid-level, senior managers at BRAC, and researchers. After the production, the director, with a professional editor, edited the video. Over three hours of footage was viewed and ultimately compiled into a six-minute-long video documentary. The audience for the video was more expansive than narrow; from potential beneficiaries to policymakers and every group of stakeholders in between, the video was well-understood. The new MTL+ was integrated into the main program and would be scaled up soon.

Video is used widely in language education as a learning tool and a production tool for students to demonstrate oral competence. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Irish language lecturers at Dublin City University (DCU) set asynchronous video assessment tasks for students on teacher education programmes. Tasks were completed using the web-based Unicam platform, which streamlines video creation and submission, allowing students to focus on their task and not technical affairs. Students’ and the teaching team’s Unicam experiences were evaluated through anonymous surveys drawing on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology. Both parties were neutral to slightly positive in their attitudes towards the Unicam tool.

Chinese public hospitals have increased usage of TikTok to communicate with citizens on health-related matters. This study aims to investigate the engagement of citizens with the official TikTok accounts of public hospitals, and identify the major characters of the videos with the highest public engagement level, as well as underlying factors that make them successful. A comprehensive search on TikTok, a video-sharing social networking service, was completed to identify all official accounts of public hospitals in Mainland China. Data was collected from 40 public hospitals with the top 100 TikTok videos being identified for content analysis. The majority of them were created by public hospitals located in the Central and Western regions of China. The common features of the top 100 identified videos include: low message sensation value and short video length, and are typically accompanied by background music, subtitles, and an introduction at the beginning of the video. The most frequently viewed video type is film clips which are used to disseminate knowledge of diseases and promote healthcare professionals. Health communication via the official TikTok accounts of public hospitals in China offers significant potential. Hospitals are encouraged to engage citizens in health-related conversations to build their credibility and professional image online. Among the popular short-videos, the message sensation value is not largely connected to video popularity, while the content of videos seems more important. This requires skills in video creation or procurement, and editing, while rhetoric should be cautiously applied. The content of videos should provide education and positive energy.

Deep learning has been used in computer vision to accomplish many tasks that were previously considered too complex or resource-intensive to be feasible. One remarkable application is the creation of deepfakes. Deepfake images change or manipulate a person’s face to give a different expression or identity by using generative models. Deepfakes applied to videos can change the facial expressions in a manner to associate a different speech with a person than the one originally given. Deepfake videos pose a serious threat to legal, political, and social systems as they can destroy the integrity of a person. Research solutions are being designed for the detection of such deepfake content to preserve privacy and combat fake news. This study details the existing deepfake video creation techniques and provides an overview of the deepfake datasets that are publicly available. More importantly, we provide an overview of the deepfake detection methods, along with a discussion on the issues, challenges, and future research directions. The study aims to present an all-inclusive overview of deepfakes by providing insights into the deepfake creation techniques and the latest detection methods, facilitating the development of a robust and effective deepfake detection solution.

The purposes of this study were to develop instructional videos for Lai Kammalor Drawing, to assess their effectiveness, and to compare students’ ability before and after learning through instructional videos for Lai Kammalor Drawing. The participants in this study were undergraduate students who were majoring in Arts Education from a public university in Thailand. The study’s purposefully selected sample was divided into two groups: 1) the sample group, which consisted of 43 students, and 2) the treatment group, which consisted of 20 students. The descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) as well as the t-test for dependent samples were used in this study. Three major results arose as a result of the research. To begin, the evaluation of the instructional video creation for Lai Kammalor Drawing yielded findings that were much higher than the usual average of 3.50 (mean=4.76, SD=0.34). Furthermore, the content and design were at excellent levels. Second, the instructional videos for Lai Kammalor Drawing were 80.67/83.88 percent efficient, above the necessary set of 80/80 percent. Finally, the posttest score was significantly greater than the pretest scoreat the.05 level.
