ARABIC TEACHER CREATIVITY TOWARDS THE USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN DISTANCE LEARNING

<p><em>The main problem in this study, along with the COVID-19 pandemic, which has plagued Indonesia for more than a year, has caused various problems and has an impact on various aspects of life, especially in education. To reduce the spread of COVID-19, the government enforces distance learning (PJJ), which also impacts learning Arabic and requires teachers to develop creativity in learning. Using a qualitative field research method, this study aims to determine the creativity of Arabic language teachers in utilizing information technology for distance learning (PJJ) during the covid-19 pandemic. As for some of the media used, such as. Create video content, take advantage of social media, use video conferencing applications such as Zoom and Google Meet to take advantage of educational website services in the form of Google Classroom and Wordwall games. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the researchers, this study proved that, first, there are various kinds of teacher creativity in learning Arabic online such as interactive multimedia, quizzes with google forms, word wall games, and so on. Second, being able to eliminate student learning boredom by developing teacher creativity based on information technology. Third, it is still necessary to conduct information technology-based creativity development training, especially in learning Arabic, because not all Arabic language teachers can develop information technology-based teaching skills. This study proved that, first, there are various kinds of teacher creativity in learning Arabic online such as interactive multimedia, quizzes with google forms, word wall games, and so on. THE USE OF INTERACTIVE WORD WALL TECHNIQUE IN WORD TEACHING TO THE 5TH GRADE

This research was conducted to determine the effect of interactive word wall technique on word teaching at the 5th grade level of secondary school. Quasi experimental model was used in the research. The study group of the research consists of 74 students who continue their education in the 5th grade of a public secondary school in Antalya. 5th and 6th themes in the Turkish textbook were chosen for the research. The words in the themes were taught to the experimental group with the interactive word wall technique and activities, and to the control group with the activities in the ongoing education program. The application was carried out for eight weeks, with one course hour per week. It was applied as a pre-test before the Turkish lesson vocabulary test, the post-test after the application, and a retention test one month after the application of the post-test. As a result of the research, no significant difference was found between the pre-test scores obtained from the vocabulary test of the experimental and control groups, while a significant difference was found between the posttest and retention test scores in favor of the experimental group. No significant difference was found between the test results of the students in the experimental and control groups and their gender, maternal education status and father education status. According to the results, it was concluded that the interactive word wall technique was effective in teaching Turkish language lessons at the 5th grade level. Integrasi Permainan Media Word Wall dalam Pendidikan Sejarah

Trend terbaru menunjukkan bilangan murid yang lulus mata pelajaran Sejarah di peringkat sekolah menengah semakin menurun. Antara punca yang dikenal pasti ialah Sejarah merupakan mata pelajaran yang amat membosankan dan susah untuk dipelajari kerana terdapat pelbagai fakta yang perlu dihafal. Oleh itu, kajian ini dijalankan untuk menilai kesan pengintegrasian permainan media Word wall terhadap minat, motivasi dan pencapaian murid sekolah menengah dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah. Kaedah kajian kualitatif telah digunakan untuk mengumpul data kajian. 20 orang murid yang sering gagal dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah Tingkatan 4 telah dipilih dengan menggunakan kaedah persampelan tujuan. Empat sesi pemerhatian telah dilakukan semasa aktiviti pembelajaran dan pemudahcaaan (PdPc) berlangsung dalam kelas dan temu bual separa berstruktur telah dijalankan selepas empat minggu menjalankan aktiviti PdPc. Analisa data temu bual menunjukkan murid sekolah menengah mempunyai persepsi yang amat positif terhadap penggunaan permainan Word wall dalam pendidikan Sejarah. Di samping itu, kajian ini juga menunjukkan bahawa penggunaan permainan ini dalam PdPC Sejarah turut mengubah minat dan sikap murid untuk belajar mata pelajaran Sejarah yang amat sinonim sebagai mata pelajaran membosankan dalam kalangan murid sekolah. Aplikasi permainan ini juga berjaya meningkat motivasi intrinsik murid untuk belajar Sejarah. Implikasi kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa permainan Word wall merupakan salah satu permainan teknologi alternatif yang dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk diintegrasikan dalam aktiviti PdPC agar dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan pencapaian Sejarah di sekolah.

Students’ Vocabulary Mastery through Word Wall at SMPN 44 Surabaya

The aim of this research was to find out how far the Word Wall to improve students’ vocabulary mastery at SMPN 44 Surabaya. Classroom action research was applied to the 40 students of the class 7-D as the subjects of this research. In applying the Word Wall, there were two cycles applied consisting of three meetings for each cycle. The researcher used the students’ tests result to measure the improvement of their vocabulary achievement. The results of this research showed the increasing students’ vocabulary mastery proven by the results of the tests conducted. Mean of the pre-test was 50 and mean of the post-test in cycle I was increased becoming 70. Then, mean of post-test in cycle II was significantly improved in 93. The research was stopped in the cycle II in regard of the criteria of success was 82.5%. The researcher found out there were a significant students’ vocabulary mastery after implementing the Word Wall. it is recommended English teachers who teach vocabularies should apply the Word Wall Strategy regarding can help students easily to understand the content of the texts. For the students, they can use and have more exercises with the Word Wall to enrich their vocabularies in daily activities. For other researchers, it is suggested to conduct the similar research by exploring the areas of focus in other English skills.

Media pembelajaran Word Wall dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengingat kosa kata bahasa Arab

<p class="16aJudulAbstrak">There are a lot of individuals who have a hard time learning Arabic because teaching methods have not yet reached the point of performing other methods that could be applied in its learning. To achieve in this ability to speak Arabic must be associated with media that can make it easier for students to study or understand. One way to develop a vocabulary in this Arabic. Is to use a wall media. Word wall media is the proper and effective medium to improve Arabic memory. Research methods we use are literature study methods. The objective of this study is to increase the quantity and quality of learners in remembrance of the Arabic vocabulary.</p><p class="16aJudulAbstrak"> </p><p class="16aJudulAbstrak"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p class="16bIsiAbstrak">Masih banyak individu yang kesulitan dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab dikarenakan metode atau cara mengajar dari seorang guru belum mencapai tahap melakukan metode-metode lain yang mungkin bisa diterapkan di dalam pembelajarannya. Untuk mencapai dalam kemampuan berbahasa arab ini haruslah diikuti dengan media-media yang dapat memudahkan para pelajar agar lebih mudah untuk dipelajari atau dipahami. Salah satu cara untuk dapat mengembangkan kosakata dalam Bahasa arab ini adalah dengan menggunakan media Word Wall. Media Word Wall adalah media yang tepat dan efektif adalah metode studi kepustakaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas peserta didik dalam mengingat kosa kata bahasa Arab.</p>

Word-Wall Technique in Improving Students’ Vocabulary Mastery at the first Grade of SMPN 4 Kajuara Kabupaten Bone

This research aims to know (1) whether the use of word wall technique is able to improve students’ vocabulary mastery, (2) the students’ interest to learn vocabulary by using word wall technique. This research was conducted at SMPN 4 Kajuara Kabupaten Bone academic year 2017-2018. The subject of this research consisted of 52 students of first grade. The design of the research was quasi-experimental design where the research used two group, they were experimental group and control group. There were 2 classes as a sample namely VII-A as experimental group (taught by word wall) with the total number of 26 students and VII-B as control group (without word wall) with the total number of 26 students. The researcher administered pre-test and post-test to both groups. The result of data shows that there an improvement and interest of using word wall technique toward the students’ vocabulary mastery. Thre percentage of students’ pre-test of experimental group was 19.34 and the score of post-test was 41.74. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) of this research is accepted. It means that the use of ward wall technique improves students’ vocabulary mastery at the first grade of SMPN 4 Kajuara Kabupaten Bone.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) apakah penggunaan teknik dinding kata mampu meningktkan penguasaan kosakata siswa, (2) ketertarikan siswa untuk belajar kosakata dengan dinding kata. Penelitian ini telah diadakan di SMPN 4 Kajuara Kabupaten Bone tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Pokok persoalan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 52 siswa kelas satu. Bentuk penelitian adalah berbentuk quasi-experimental dimana penelitian menggunakan dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok experimen dan kelompok control. Ada dua kelas sebagai sampel yakni, VII A sebagai kelompok ekperimen (mengajar dengan dinding kata) dengan jumlah 26 siswa dan VII B sebagai kelompok kontrol (tanpa dinding kata) dengan jumlah 26 siswa. Peneliti memberikan pre-test and post-test untuk kedua kelompok. Hasil dari data menujukkan ada peningkatan dan ketertarikan dengan menggunakan teknik didnding kata terhadap peningkatan kosakata siswa. Persentasi skor siswa sebeum diajarkan dengan menggunakan teknik dnding kata adalah 19.34% dan setelah mengajar dengan teknik dinding kata adalah 41.76%. Oleh karena itu, hipotesis altenatif (Ha) untuk penelitian ini diterima. Itu berarti bahwa penggunaan teknik dinding kata meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata siswa di kelas satu SMPN 4 Kajauara Kabupaten Bone.

تعليم الحوار باستخدام وسيلة الكلمات في اللوح (Word Wall)

إن الأغراض لهذا البحث هي معرفة تحصيل التلاميذ الدراسي قبل استخدام وسيلة الكلمات في اللوح وبعد استخدامه في تعليم الحوار لتلاميذ الصف الثاني في مدرسة العرفان العالية الإسلامية بورواكرتا ومعرفة الأثر من استخدامه إلى ترقية تحصيل التلاميذ الدراسي فيه. والطريقة المستخدمة في هذا البحث هي الطريقة التجريبية بتصميم الاختبار القبلي والاختبار البعدي لمجموعة واحدة. أما الأساليب لجمع البيانات فهي المقابلة والملاحظة والدراسة المكتبية والاختبار. ومن النتائج المحصولة من هذا البحث أن تحصيل التلاميذ الدراسي قبل استخدام وسيلة الكلمات في اللوح حصل على طبقة منخفضة. وهذا كما دلت عليه قيمة المتوسط على قدر 55،04 وتحصيل التلاميذ الدراسي بعد استخدام وسيلة الكلمات في اللوح حصل على طبقة عالية، وهذا كما دلت عليه قيمة المتوسط على قدر 88،06. وإن استخدام وسيلة الكلمات في اللوح في تعليم الحوار يؤثر في ترقية تحصيل التلاميذ الدراسي ومستوى التأثير على قدر 71٪.
