Although typical imaging findings of COVID-19 pneumonia has been described it may be difficult at times to distinguish it from other viral pneumonias. In the following case series, we describe a typical sign i.e. Bull’s-eye sign in COVID-19 pneumonia. As this sign is not associated with any known pulmonary disease, so its presence may help radiologists to differentiate COVID-19 pneumonia from its mimics.

We present a clinical case of Norrie disease in a 6-year-old boy. The parents had in time an ophthalmologist consultation when the child was 4 months old, but the final diagnosis was made more than 5 years later. A specific feature of this case in addition to vitreoretinopathy and bilateral retinal detachment was the presence of a congenital malformation of the iris - aniridia, which is not a typical sign of Norrie disease. A modern method of genetic testing (next generation sequencing - NGS) made it possible to detect a previously undescribed mutation in the NDP gene and make a final clinical and genetic diagnosis. Key words: Norrie disease; vitreoretinopathy; retinal detachment; NDP gene.

This is the first attempt at analyzing philosophical works about Motherland by Ivan Ilyin (written in the 1920s) as the solid ideological structure, which influenced literature of the Russian emigration of the 1920s as well as Russian émigré selfawareness. The article describes the system of Ilyin’s thought in its dynamics: from his first speeches, delivered in Berlin in 1922, towards the speeches (and articles) of the second half of the 1920s. It highlights certain changes in the definition of the Motherland: in the beginning of his philosophical career, Ilyin understands Motherland as related to the Civil War and the interests of the White Army; later, he moves this concept to religious sphere; by the end of the 1920s he relegates Motherland to the context of world history and Russian culture. Several examples show how Ilyin’s philosophy influenced (or sounds in consonance with), main ideas of the early émigré literature (including novels and political articles by Ivan Bunin, Nina Berberova, Vladimir Nabokov, and Marina Tsvetaeva). That Ivan Ilyin, a former professor of law turned into the greatest ideologist of Russia Abroad is a typical sign of the time and the proof of politicization of Russian philosophy.

This examination demonstrations the in vitro mitigating impact of leaf concentrates of Polyalthia longifolia. These were investigated in various measures to decide their mitigating impacts. Protein denaturation and RBC film adjustment were measured. The outcomes were accounted for as % hindrance in triplicate assurance and were exposed to factual additionally, diclofenac Aspirin and sodium were utilized as norms. The consequence of the % restraint of protein denaturation demonstrated that at 1mg/ml diclofenac, ethanolic extricate, new leaf fluid concentrate and dry leaf watery concentrate. Because of dissecting the MS and UV information and in contrast with the legitimate norms, an aggregate of 10 polyphenols were recognized and measured, counting gallic corrosive, catechin, quercetin, kaempferol, and their subordinates. This is the primary investigation looking at the leaves, as opposed to the organic product or seeds reasonably collected yet underutilized by nearby indigenous people groups. The concoction outline of the leaf was thoroughly broke down and prompted the ID of 10 polyphenol mixes, counting phenolic corrosive and flavonoids. The individual polyphenols were effectively quantitated, utilizing UV recognition. Additional bioactivity examinations demonstrated that the concentrates of leaf display cancer prevention agent, antiproliferation, and calming exercises. The primary atomic component may mostly be donated by the hindrance of NF-κB enactment, a typical sign alleyway among multiplication and aggravation. Additional examinations are expected to investigate whether these polyphenol mixes could work synergistically to accomplish significantly better exercises than each solitary segment. The concoction bioactivities and profile decided to help its conventional usage and might assistance for its additional pharmacological investigations and nutraceutical requests.

Background and Objective: Chronic inflammation is the typical sign of gastritis that may shift into gastric cancer. IL- 17A and IL-17F as a novel inflammatory cytokines subset of CD4+Th play the main role in inflammation. A key cytokine receptor in the inflammatory IL-17/IL-23 axis, the interleukin 23 receptor (IL23R), may be related to gastritis. We evaluated the correspondence between IL-17A G197A, IL-17F A7488G and IL23R+2199 A/C polymorphisms with TGF-β1, IL-6, IL-17, IL-21 and IL-23 mucosal mRNAs expression in uninfected H. Pylori (HP) chronic gastritis patients. Materials and Methods: Total RNA and genomic DNA were separated from gastric biopsies of 44 patients with gastritis. Subsequently, mucosal mRNAs expression of TGF-β1, IL-6, IL-17, IL-21 and IL-23 were assessed by real-time PCR. To polymorphisms determination of IL-17A G197A, IL-17F A7488G and IL-23R +2199A/C the PCR-RFLP was used in gastric biopsies. Results: Results point that IL-17A G197A, IL-17F A7488G and IL23R +2199A/C polymorphisms did not influence the mucosal expression of TGF-β1, IL-6, IL-17 and IL-21 (p> 0.05). In an opposite result, we don’t find a correspondence between IL-17A G197A, IL-17F A7488G polymorphisms and mucosal expression of IL-23 (p> 0.05). In a contrary, we found a correlation between IL23R +2199A/C polymorphism and mucosal expression of IL-23 in patients with chronic gastritis (p< 0.05). Conclusion: These findings propose that IL23R +2199A/C polymorphism may change the mucosal expression of IL-23 pattern in patients with gastritis disease in the absence of HP, but to support the conclusion, more research may be required. Keywords: Cytokines; polymorphism; gastritis; IL-23, IL-17.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a recent pandemic that affected more than 5 million people worldwide. Chest high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) is an essential tool in diagnosis and management of the disease. Pulmonary parenchymal opacity is a typical sign of the disease, but not the only one. Pneumothorax, pneumomediastinum, bronchiectasis and cysts are probably underrated complications of COVID-19 that can worsen prognosis, in terms of prolonged hospitalization and need of oxygen therapy. In our single center case series, we outline four different manifestations of pneumothorax, pneumomediastinum and cysts in hospitalized patients with COVID-19 pneumonia.

Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a viral infection transmitted by mosquitoes causing potentially deadly complications. The typical sign of this case is getting high fever until 3-7 days then it drops quickly. To make a lower body temperature, compress the body with warm water by using tepid sponge and sponge bath techniques. The objective of this study to determine the effect of compresses with tepid sponge and sponge bath techniques on changes in children's body temperature with DHF. This study used quantitative research with quasi-experiment design two group pre-test post-test design approach. The population of 30 children with fever, with purposive sampling technique using the Lemeshow formula. The analysis used was paired T-test, Wilcoxon, and Mann Whitney at a significance level of 0.05. Wilcoxon statistical test results show there is a tepid sponge effect on children body temperature with DHF with a p-value of 0.001. The dependent t-test shows there is an influence of sponge bath in children body temperature with DHF p-value of 0,000. The Mann witney test shows that Sponge bath is more effective than a tepid sponge in reducing fever with a p-value of 0,000. The conclusion of this study can be used as a guide for treating children with fever with the issuance of a standard SPO. Application of this method needs to involve parents to maintain the comfort of children, so it needs to make socialization to parents.

Pulmonary artery thrombosis is one of the crucial mechanisms of severe COVID-19 development. Histological examination reveals widespread microvascular thrombosis in 87 % and large branches pulmonary artery thrombosis in 13 % of deceased patients. Caused by viral and immune cytotoxic effect thrombotic lung vasculopathy appears to be the main trigger of pulmonary artery thrombosis. In this study we examined 7 lungs obtained from patients who died from COVID-19. Thrombotic lung vasculopathy was typical sign of all 7 lungs. Endothelial cell destruction, media fibrinoid necrosis, neutrophil and lymphocytic infiltrates of the arterial wall and perivascular tissues were the basic histological changes in the lung arteries of different diameters. All this fatal changes developed independently of the therapeutic and prophylactic anticoagulation.

Melorheostosis is a rare benign bone disease including dysostosis and sclerosis. Dripping candle wax presence is a common and typical sign of melorheostosis. This sign appears as irregular hyperostosis of the cortical bone which is likened to melted wax flowing down one side of a candle. It can sometimes cause pain, stiffness joint, or limitation of motion in the affected areas implicitly but mostly has no symptoms. It is usually observed on plain radiography; its appearance is generally hyperplasia on one side of the bone. We report a 33-year-old male who has an incidental diagnosis of melorheostosis post-trauma.
