The application of data mining technology in power field mainly focuses on the application of power defect text and dispatching text. However, the power operation and maintenance data contains a lot of information about power equipment suppliers. Taking the operation and maintenance text involving power equipment suppliers as an example, this paper summarizes the theme of operation and maintenance text and studies the evaluation model of power equipment suppliers. The next sentence prediction analysis model of single round dialogue text based on transformer bidirectional encoder prediction and cosine similarity weighting is proposed, which can effectively divide the topic of dialogue text. Aiming at the semantic richness and complexity of power operation and maintenance text, a supplier evaluation model based on text emotion analysis is proposed. Based on the expansion of the entries and attributes of the existing power ontology dictionary, the dialogue emotion analysis rules are established to realize the normal evaluation of power equipment suppliers.

The concept of sustainable consumption has been described in the literature from different perspectives, but few have focused on defining the consumer perspective and strategies to appropriate this knowledge and behaviors in the classroom, which becomes a major challenge in times of Covid 19 and confinement. This article proposes an approach to the concept by university students from the implementation of a pedagogical strategy, which involved the implementation of a virtual learning community and the evaluation of the understanding of this concept through the use of mind maps (pre and post). Through the mind maps, data were collected to evaluate the understanding of the concept, the analysis of semantic richness and systemic complexity. The results show the associations established by the students, proposing a categorization system arising from the data and the previous literature review. The study concludes that the students broadened their vision of sustainable consumption in terms of the actors involved, consumption decisions and the social and environmental dimensions of sustainability.

Ontology technology has been investigated in a wide range of areas and is currently being utilized in many fields. In the e-learning context, many studies have used ontology to address problems such as the interoperability in learning objects, modeling and enriching learning resources, and personalizing educational content recommendations. We systematically reviewed research on ontology for e-learning from 2008 to 2020. The review was guided by 3 research questions: “How is ontology used for knowledge modeling in the context of e-learning?”, “What are the design principles, building methods, scale, level of semantic richness, and evaluation of current educational ontologies?”, and “What are the various ontology-based applications for e-learning?” We classified current educational ontologies into 6 types and analyzed them by 5 measures: design methodology, building routine, scale of ontology, level of semantic richness, and ontology evaluation. Furthermore, we reviewed 4 types of ontology-based e-learning applications and systems. The observations obtained from this survey can benefit researchers in this area and help to guide future research.

Abstract. This paper presents a platform for multilayered documentation of cultural heritage, inspired by the current lack of a heritage BIM approach capable of creating models with both high geometric accuracy and high semantic richness. The platform is developed in the Unity game engine. It comprises several integrated and interconnected layers or datasets that can include data of different types, such as a point cloud, textured polygonal mesh, parametric information model and images, both 2D images and 360° panoramas. We present an overview of the platform concept, the benefits of the proposed multilayered representation and the details on the implementation and integration of datasets. Also, we present some of the innovative functions made possible by this integration, such as point cloud or mesh cutting and preforming measurements on 2D images and 360° panoramas. We perform and present the results of a preliminary analysis of platform functions, which indicates that the platform can be used for accurate measurement and retrieval of 3D coordinates.

Abstract Some studies have indicated that a specific ‘social semantic network’ represents the social meanings of words. However, studies of the comprehension of complex materials, such as sentences and narratives, have indicated that the same network supports the online accumulation of connected semantic information. In this study, we examined the hypothesis that this network does not simply represent the social meanings of words but also accumulates connected social meanings from texts. We defined the social semantic network by conducting a meta-analysis of previous studies on social semantic processing and then examined the effects of social semantic accumulation using a functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) experiment. Two important findings were obtained. First, the social semantic network showed a stronger social semantic effect in sentence and narrative reading than in word list reading, indicating the amplitude of social semantic activation can be accumulated in the network. Second, the activation of the social semantic network in sentence and narrative reading can be better explained by the holistic social-semantic-richness rating scores of the stimuli than by those of the constitutive words, indicating the social semantic contents can be integrated in the network. These two findings convergently indicate that the social semantic network supports the accumulation of connected social meanings.

The paper is devoted to identifying the compositional and semantic features of the shamanic text recorded by A. V. Anokhin in 1910 from the Tuba shaman Balandi. The analysis showed the text to consistently reflect all the ritual actions characteristic of the shaman rite. The main actions are invoking deities and host spirits, sacrifices to deities and master spirits of the Middle World, and sprinkling of the Ot-Ene, home spirit of fire. The ceremony had a family and household character, with the main purpose being to ask for grace for one family. The cult of mountains, worship of the deities and spirits of the Middle World reflected in the rite (Altai-Kudai ‘Altai-God’, Jayik ‘Dyayik (Idol Creator)’, Ot-Ene ‘Fire-Mother’) indicate the involvement of the performer of this ritual text in the South Altai tradition of shamanism. The appeal to the deity Altai-Kudai testifies to the fact that already at the beginning of the twen- tieth century, the Altaians formed a monotheistic image of a single deity. The key mythologeme in the text is the shaman’s journey to the top of the ridge inhabited by the deity Altai-Kudai who gives grace, happiness, and prosperity to the souls of cattle and children. The analyzed shamanic text is distinguished by a high solemn style. The poetic form of the shamanic text provides maximum expressiveness and ultimate emotional and semantic richness. Its syllabic structure varies from seven to twelve syllables. The ritual structure consists of three-day actions with sacrifice to the spirits-masters of the sacred mountains.

This contribution presents the principal features of ontologies, drawing special attention to the comparison between ontologies and the different kinds of knowledge organization systems (KOS). The focus is on the semantic richness exhibited by ontologies, which allows the creation of a great number of relationships between terms. That establishes ontologies as the most evolved type of KOS. The concepts of “conceptualization” and “formalization” and the key components of ontologies are described and discussed, along with upper and domain ontologies and special typologies, such as bibliographical ontologies and biomedical ontologies. The use of ontologies in the digital libraries environment, where they have replaced thesauri for query expansion in searching, and the role they are playing in the Semantic Web, especially for semantic interoperability, are sketched.

In the proposed article, the question of the semantic richness of the mythologeme Cykūra (a component of the name of a wonderful bead), which occupies an important place in the folklore and ethnographic tradition of the Ossetians, is reflected. At the same time, attention is focused on the semantic meaning of the ritual action and ritual prayer associated with the cult of veneration of the unique relic’s patrons. Also, the range of tasks under study includes the substantiation of the solar (divine) nature of a wonderful object. As a result of the study, the author's etymology of the term Cykūra is presented, to a certain extent different from the generally accepted traditional. According to the proposed hypothesis, Cykūra-fӕrdyg (Tsykura bead) in the Ironic dialect of the Ossetian language, is interpreted as a "sun bead". It should be admitted that, based on the analysis carried out in the article, this position is fully consistent with the semantics of concepts with a similar meaning found in the Digor dialect: solaq / ğolaqi fӕrdyg. As a reasoned justification, special attention is paid to the appeal to the historical and cultural aspect and traditions associated with such beads among different peoples of the world. The author dwells on the most obvious convergence of the Ossetian Cykūra-fӕrdyg with the Tibetan and Chinese "solar Dzi beads". In the course of the study, it becomes clear that the semantic and phonetic closeness of the Tibetan and Chinese "Dzi" to the Ossetian "Cykūra" is too great to allow a judgment about accidental similarity; rather, there is every reason to talk about their genetic relationship. Comparison of the studied mythologemes seems to be quite motivated. Our assumption is also supported by numerous artifacts discovered during archaeological expeditions. The topic is promising for further study.

The publication timeline of the issues of volume 10 of Transfers has been informed by its own history and our now shared global history. Issue 10.1 commemorated the journal’s 10th anniversary and sought to take stock of the past, point to future avenues, and react to the immediate present. Issue 10.2/3 is a double issue that moves the journal further into a new era. It both reaffirm our commitment to interdisciplinarity, diversity, and cutting-edge theorization and remains faithful to our engagement to question accepted histories, especially in the case of infrastructures, these seemingly perennial elements of our lived environment. Editing this journal remains a collaborative and interdisciplinary effort. As such, this double issue presents a collection of research articles on aeromobility, human-elephant relations, LGBT refugees in Germany, and mobility justice in Australia, followed by a special section on railways in Europe and Asia. In both parts of this issue, the articles weave together acts of authoring and reading mobility, by challenging our understanding of our field’s accepted terms and concepts, developing their semantic richness, and asking of us to fully reflect on their meaning today.
