Keywords

Interval pemanenan; Kenikir (Cosmos caudatus); Media tanam; Pertumbuhan; Produksi pucuk

Abstract

Cosmos caudatus can be used as vegetable by its shoots. Cosmos are found as wild plant so that efforts are needed to increase shoot production. Shoot production can be optimized by media composition and harvesting interval. This research objective was to investigate planting media composition and harvesting interval effect on growth and shoot production of cosmos. The research was carried out for three months at Cirebon. The experiment was carried out in two stages: (1) the effect of media composition on growth and shoot at the first harvest and (2) the effect of interaction between media composition and shoot harvesting interval at the second harvest. The experimental design for first experiment used Randomized Block Design (RBD), namely the composition of media of soil, 2:1 soil-manure and 1:1 soil-manure with nine replications. Meanwhile, we used two factor factorial RBD for second experiment. The first factor was the media composition and the second factor was three harvest interval with three replications. The result showed that planting media of soil and manure (1:1) increased the growth and shoot both in the first and second harvesting. The harvesting interval of 20 days decrease the total shoot because many branches to flower so they cannot be harvested.

Identication of modiable and non-modiable risk factors for preterm birth before conception or early in pregnancy may help prevent this complication. Aretrospective analysis of interpregnancy interval in women giving preterm birth in a tertiary health centre was done . All records of obstetric patients, from institutional data centre were examined in detail which included demographic information, reproductive history, maternal characteristics, prenatal care, labor management, maternal complications during pregnancy, delivery, and the puerperium, and neonatal outcomes. In this study , among 112 patients 30 percent were having interpregnancy interval of less than 12 months, 50 percent 12 to < 24 months, 11 percent 24 to 48 months and 9 percent > 48 months. Higher occurrence of short interpregnancy interval <24 months and younger age group <19 years were found in association with preterm births.

Introduction: The spatiotemporal patterns of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is detected in the United States, which shows temperature difference (TD) with cumulative hysteresis effect significantly changes the daily new confirmed cases after eliminating the interference of population density. Methodology: The nonlinear feature of updated cases is captured through Generalized Additive Mixed Model (GAMM) with threshold points; Exposure-response curve suggests that daily confirmed cases is changed at the different stages of TD according to the threshold points of piecewise function, which traces out the rule of updated cases under different meteorological condition. Results: Our results show that the confirmed cases decreased by 0.390% (95% CI: -0.478 ~ -0.302) for increasing each one degree of TD if TD is less than 11.5°C; It will increase by 0.302% (95% CI: 0.215 ~ 0.388) for every 1°C increase in the TD (lag0-4) at the interval [11.5, 16]; Meanwhile the number of newly confirmed COVID-19 cases will increase by 0.321% (95% CI: 0.142 ~ 0.499) for every 1°C increase in the TD (lag0-4) when the TD (lag0-4) is over 16°C, and the most fluctuation occurred on Sunday. The results of the sensitivity analysis confirmed our model robust. Conclusions: In US, this interval effect of TD reminds us that it is urgent to control the spread and infection of COVID-19 when TD becomes greater in autumn and the ongoing winter.

Traditionally, the interval and delay effects have been identified and considered as the same anomaly in the context of intertemporal choice, when individuals or groups of individuals make their decisions about reward preferences. This has supposed that most studies on this topic have been focused on the delay effect and, consequently, that the discount functions provided by the existing literature have considered only this effect. This is the case of hyperbolic discounting, which has been used to describe the delay, but not the interval effect. Therefore, the main objective of this paper is to carry out a detailed analysis of both anomalies, which will allow us to mathematically relate them, thus finding their analogies and differences. To do this, we will first analyze the concept of delay effect and later the different definitions of the interval effect. The main conclusion of this paper is twofold. On the one hand, if the benchmark for valuation is fixed, the delay effect coincides with the so-called decreasing interval effect. On the other hand, if the assessment reference point is the beginning of each interval, both anomalies are different. These findings make necessary to redefine the concept of interval effect. Finally, we will analyze the relationship between the interval effect, the delay effect and the subadditivity

This research has done in experiment garden of UNDANA , Faculty of agriculture from September 2010 to December 2010. The objective of this research is to find out the interval effect of giving indole butyric acid to the germination of papyrus (Borassus sundaicus Becc). This research used randomized complete experimental (RAL)with five treatments and four re-treatments, a parameter that has been observed involved longer of the root, diameter of the root, time of growth of root, a total of the root, length of root, time of growth of coleoptile and the dry weight of root. The result of this research conclude that the interval effect of giving the growth regulator of indole butyric acid (IBA) to the germination of papyrus in the average of the dry weight of root.where as the others observation variables are the longer average of a pool in the 2nd-week observation, 3rd-week observation, 4th-week observation, 5th-week observation, 6th-week observation and 8th-week observation have significantly effect.effect of treatments as a result of interval different is not unreal in the observation variables of longer of apokol in the 2nd-week observation and 7th-week observation, time of growth of root, total of root and time of growth of coleoptile.

This study explores the mechanism of financial flexibility on enterprise performance from the perspective of dynamic capabilities by testing the relationship among them respectively. This study selects the data of A-share manufacturing companies in Shenzhen and Shanghai from 2011 to 2017 to structure three main variables mentioned above. The test results of the regression analysis indicate that financial flexibility has an interval effect on enterprise performance. Dynamic capabilities play a part in mediating financial flexibility and enterprise performance, which means financial flexibility can influence enterprise performance through dynamic capabilities. This study adds weight to the theory of financial flexibility and dynamic capability and helps enterprises adjust them more effectively in an increasingly complex economic situation.
