Nurses’ use of mHealth remains largely unexplored despite enthusiasm for its use in health systems. We conducted a survey (n=341) to examine nurses’ use of mHealth technologies in Canada; this paper presents findings of sub questions within a larger study. Differences in common mHealth functions used by nurses were examined by population setting (large urban centre, medium centre, small centre, and rural area) and type of organization (hospital, community health, nursing home or long-term care, and other). A significant difference by population setting was found in the use of the mHealth functions to support decision making. Significant differences by type of organization were found in the use of the mHealth functions for care plans, outside communication, general/basic documentation, accessing information resources, and ‘other’ functions. Results from this study are the first to provide details of the current state and nature of nurses’ use of mHealth.

Abstract. This contribution deals in the possibilities of 3D documentation of historical mining relicts hidden in the forest. On the Czech – German border, in the Ore Mountains, several historical mining relicts are located there. There are interesting underground spaces (historical mines), some of which have recently been made available for visits by tourists. But there are many relicts on the surface that are linked to mining and are not known or on the fringes of interest. These are mining pits, dumps, water works, remains of buildings and historic entrance roads. Many of them are in forest areas, were not documented or archaeologically explored, and have recently been devastated by amateur collectors equipped with metal detectors who unfortunately destroy unexplored localities to find interesting relicts. For the basic documentation and delimitation of these objects, aerial laser scanning (ALS) and personal laser mobile scanning (PLS) were used; some finds were documented by close-range photogrammetry.

Brasil. After 10 years of activities, the country is considered to have eradicated birth under-registration, although data shows that about 1% of children born in the country remain unregistered. Considering that birth registration is a human right that guarantees the exerciseof other rights, and knowing that Brazilian efforts to eradicate under-registration have been considered successful, this article analyzes the 10 years of the national policy from the perspective of human rights policies, also identifying the impacts of policy decentralization on public agencies in achieving the goals established for the 2008-2018 decade. In conclusion, collective actions, document standardization and information systems contributed to the success of such policy. However, the challenges of birth registration of the so-called priority groups still remain. The research methodology consists of literature review and the analysis of official statistical data of the Brazilian government. Keywords: Civil registry. Brazil. Public policies.

In the frame of our last project, which was focused on the revitalization and restoration of the Prophet Nahum Shrine in Alqosh in the Iraqi Region of Kurdistan, the detailed documentation and geophysical research of the shrine was carried out in 2018. Close-range photogrammetry, UAV and laser scanning were used for the basic documentation. Several data merge experiments were performed during processing. Significant was the transfer of the main object to the VR, which allows viewing of the object by other professionals without a direct visit to the site and to preserve its original condition before reconstruction.</p>

On the layman's level, this Commentary presents the essence of how and why library staff engage with the public while preserving patron privacy. Basic documentation, such as the Library Bill of Rights and the ALA's Intellectual Freedom Manual are referenced, along with an unsettling article about arson. After reading this Commentary, library staff should feel a renewed sense of loyalty to their profession, as well as an uncomfortable realization that every day, someone's life is held in the balance for educational good or for misapplied freedom: it is partially up to the librarian to help each person pursue excellence within the framework of free access to information.

Approaches and Theories of Learning Proposed by the Projects of Pedagogy Distance Education Course for the Development of Educational TechnologiesAbstractThis paper presents the results of a study that aimed to identify from which learning approaches and theories come the didactic and pedagogical principles that the Courses Pedagogical Project o (PPCs) of Pedagogy distance courses offered by federal universities in the Northeast region propose to design and develop their educational technologies (environments, materials and activities). After a literature review of approaches and learning theories, followed by the documentary and content analysis of PPCs, we identified that the prevail principles come from New School, Constructivist and Socioconstrutivism. However: a) the documents are not objectives on how to operationalize these principles in designing and developing environments, materials and activities, and; b) the learning evaluation processes (and instruments) are not described or are inaccurate. These findings suggest that the PPCs, the basic documentation of the courses, are not used as references for designing and developing the educational technologies used in the investigated courses. Keywords: Distance education, Pedagogy, Learning theories, Educational technologies, Course projects.
