Since the building made of cement concrete consumes almost half of the total energy generated and accordingly accountable for huge amount of CO2 emission, it is necessary to replace the Portland cement (PC) with sustainable construction material. Similarly, Prosopis Juliflora is a shrub or small tree in the family Fabaceae, a kind of mesquite which is considered to be a potential threat for ground water in South India. Hence, this has to eradicate so as to maintain the groundwater and also to effectively utilize its ash thereby reducing environmental pollution, this can be used as a partial replacement for cement. In this regard, this paper investigates the technical feasibility of using Prosopis Juliflora ash (PJA) as cementitious material by partially (5%, 10% and 15%) replacing cement by Prosopis Juliflora ash. The mixes were evaluated for their fresh, physical and strength properties such as workability, density and compressive strength and the results were compared with the conventional mix. In order to save the environment and to save the resources we have come up with using the Prosopis Juliflora (Semai-Karuvelam in Tamil) ash as the partial replacement of cement. Cement will produce equal amount of greenhouse gas (co2) which increase the global warming. As the amount of cement is reduced greenhouse gases also reduced. Utilization of Juliflora ash as a partial substitution for cement is one of the promising methods to increase the strength and thermal insulation for cement blocks. The strength parameters (compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength) of concrete with blended Prosopis Juliflora cement are evaluated.

White Lists are lists of firms set up at each Italian prefecture. It is a relatively young instrument born as an experimental project designed to solve problems for particular conditions of crime and corruption in the Italian territory. This work aims to understand if the “White List” tool can represent a reliable legality tool for the contracting station and representation for firms registered in these lists, an incentive to obtain awards for faster times of public procurement. Through a descriptive survey, we will try to photograph the “White List” phenomenon by comparing firms belonging to these lists with companies not belonging to them but which are similar in terms of size and economic sector. The comparison takes off some differences in the financial structure of the two groups of companies. in particular, the White List’s firms show a better profitability and a lower recourse to third-party capital.

Research and calculations of non-uniform motion are very important from a practical point of view and have certain features for different states of flow, analysis of the shape of free surface curves, as well as the design of many hydraulic structures. When considering these issues, the concepts of specific cross-sectional energy and critical depth are used. The current trend of technology development in the educational process is based on Internet communications, instant online calculations and mobile microprocessor gadgets with appropriate software. The presented experimental project of educational and methodical material with web forms of online calculation of individual tasks is a variant of the modern competitive online environment on the Internet. Further direction of development - addition of methodical video, audio and graphic elements. Analysis of web analytics will gradually simplify the interface and choose the most effective set of modern formats for teaching materials. Computer on-line calculations allow to change the initial data and to introduce elements of modeling and in-depth study of theoretical positions using one typical example in the form of a web form

One of the characteristic features of modern Ukrainian literature is its innovative exploration at all levels such as genre-thematic, linguistic-stylistic, etc. The subject of this scientific investigation is an experimental project (family saga, novel in short stories) «DNК», the authors of which are seven original but different authors – Sergei Zhadan, Yuri Vynnychuk, Irena Karpa, Fozzy, Andrei Kokotyukha, Vladimir Rafaenko and Max Kidruk. The object of our study is the genre-style and ideological-thematic characteristics of each novel and their ideological and semantic integrity. Given the idiosyncrasy of each of the authors, we made a figurative analysis of the characters which includes their worldview, behavior, dreams and language. In the course of the research we can state that the chronotope of events, language, stylistic and genre peculiarities are all aimed at comprehensive disclosure of the life of Ukraine and Ukrainians at the peaks of history. It is the anthropological principle of analysis of these works that should be the starting point today and now, when not only our country, but humanity in general is in a situation of humanitarian catastrophe. The problem of all times and peoples is the unwillingness to listen to the artistic word, to the efforts of artists (intuitive, subconscious, and sometimes specifically oriented) to force their contemporaries to think about specific values and priorities, personal and national, taking into account the experience of past generations. We are convinced that the emergence of «DNК» is due to such a specific existential need, that is, the need for ueverybody to rethink the lessons of history with the necessary conclusions.

The main objective of the S-STEP (the Small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Technology Experimental Project (S-STEP)) mission is developing an 80-kg-class active X-band SAR observation small satellite. For lighter, smaller, better, and cheaper development of the S-STEP system, a new thermal design strategy is essential. Therefore, we proposed a new thermal design strategy in this study. The main features of the proposed thermal design involve the minimization of heater power consumption by optimizing environmental heat fluxes on the satellite, the provision of long-term SAR imaging duration in both right- and left-looking modes, and the use of a lightweight flexible graphite sheet as a thermal interface for some high-power instruments. These features contribute to minimizing the satellite’s mass budget through heater power minimization and achieving on-orbit system performance of S-STEP. The effectiveness of the proposed thermal design was numerically verified by on-orbit thermal analysis of the S-STEP system. In addition, the thermal design on a key payload component and the multifunctional transmit/receive module structure were verified through a space-simulated thermal vacuum test.

The article reveals the importance of cultural and communication centers in the development of the modern urban environment, outlines their relationship with the existing models of urban development. The prerequisites and reasons for the emergence of creative clusters on the territory of industrial facilities that have lost their original function are considered. The author defines the concept of "cultural and communication center". Several successful domestic examples of the creation of such centers on the site of former or irrationally used production facilities are described. The most important, in the author's opinion, foreign projects of creative spaces are highlighted. Based on domestic and world experience, the features of renovation characteristic of cultural and communication centers have been identified. Developed by the author an experimental project of a cultural and communication center in the city of Oryol on the territory of the former industrial zone "ORLEKS" is described. A pre-design analysis of this territory is presented, taking into account the characteristics that are most essential for the renovation process. It is concluded that the renovation of industrial territories by adapting them to cultural and communication centers increases the efficiency of using the urban area and improves its architectural appearance, promotes the development of small and medium-sized businesses, stimulates the activity of creative communities. In addition, it plays an important role in the formation of cultural identity of the city.

This study aims to investigate whether and how institutions can contribute to generate value at a territorial level and in which way this value may fit with value-in-business. Starting from the conceptualization of value generation and its relationship with territorial development according to service ecosystem perspective, this study aims to present and discuss an experimental project carried out in a specific Italian area to better understand these main theoretical issues. Specifically, the Sicily region is significant for the genetic factors of the context, linked to a social and cultural structure which, despite the presence of numerous obstacles to socio-economic development, strengthen the path of ‘multi-actor and multi-level’ involvement, which implies the active participation of a plurality of local actors essential to generate value for the territory and for business.

Abstract We report the protocol relative to the experimental project "Sanctions and international interaction improve cooperation to avert climate change",which connected through the internet pairs of laboratories from Kiel and Bonn (Germany) and Moscow and Tomsk (Russia). The connection was realized through Z-Tree. Each research session comprised 24 participants, who were randomly allocated to 4 groups, whose members were three from one laboratory and three from the other. After receiving instructions and passing a comprehension test, participants interacted over ten rounds. Each participant had a fixed allocation of money in each round, which could have been kept for oneself or contributed to a group account. Contributions decreased the probability that everyone suffered a 75% loss in their personal account at the end of the interaction. A random draw determined whether occurrence the loss event occurred, and individual payoffs were paid privately in cash at the end of the session.
