Outsourcing refers to the concept of delegating certain tasks to an external team. It can be a differentiating factor that can aid an organization gain a competitive advantage. Consultants can bring valuable experience on domain knowledge, interdisciplinary applications, and benefits from economies of scale. From ensuring effective use of resources to venturing into uncharted sectors, outsourcing can have a myriad of benefits for a project team. Similar to most business processes, there is an inherent trade-off that needs to be made when outsourcing. Risk management protocols are required when outsourcing, to balance execution control and collaborate effectively. Within the scope of IT projects, this research aims to survey the various methods of strategic outsourcing and the contexts in which they operate. Further sections attempt to analyze case studies based on the aforementioned aspects. Based on the available literature, the research consolidates best practices in outsourcing and presents recommendations on aligning them with project goals. Finally, the potential concerns that need to be addressed when trying to outsource activities are presented. Therefore, the research to be done within this analysis will look to dissect existing literature to assess current outsourcing practices. Additionally, the research will look for reasons why outsourcing was/is not as successful as it could be, as well as evaluate how outsourcing in IT has changed with the occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic.

After the murder of George Floyd in May 2020, Black Lives Matter protests surged around the globe. Amid COVID-19, activism on social media flourished. On Instagram, use of the ten-image carousel as an informative slideshow akin to a PowerPoint presentation gained significant attention: The New York Times highlighted their “effort to democratize access to information." In this paper, I rhetorically analyze case studies to illustrate how Instagram slideshows facilitated deliberation about participation. I argue that these posts reveal a tension in platformed digital activism: as digital templates broaden access to participation, technoliberal ideology constrains activist judgment.

The Anak Dalam tribe (Suku Anak Dalam or Suku Kubu or Orang Rimba) is one of the tribes in Central Sumatra. This tribe still lives simply and depends on nature in the forest. This tribe has its own very simple traditional house, which indicates the earliest vernacular houses in Sumatra, especially in the "Malay" or Malayic-speaking areas of Central Sumatra. However, a comprehensive study of the architectural characteristics of Rumah Godong is still not well available. What are the characteristics of Rumah Godong? Suku Anak Dalam This research uses a qualitative method approach to descriptively analyze case objects in the field. The results of this study provide a description of the architectural characteristics of Rumah Godong.

The authors present a case of a 70-year-old female with left tibial open fracture (Gustillo-Anderson type II) with previous history of trauma of the same limb, from which resulted a Morel-Lavallée injury complicated with extensive tissue necrosis. Considering the sequel condition of soft tissues (scarring and extensive fibrosis), conservative treatment was taken and successful result was achieved. In this case the biggest concern was not the traumatic tissue damage caused by the fall, but the poor quality of tissues already existent before this event. Although surgical treatment is the gold standard in these cases, we must analyze case by case the risk benefit of each procedure and choose the one we believe is the best for the patient.

The Relationships Between Categories (RBC) technique is a qualitative methodology for the metasynthesis of psychoanalytic case studies. By analyzing repetitive bilateral, trilateral, or quadrilateral relationships of transference themes, this methodology seeks to analyze case studies with existing theoretical concepts, thereby formulating a new theory. The proposed tool attempts to explore and validate hidden connections between different psychotherapy components, thus enhancing integration of various bodies of knowledge and decreasing the gap between practice and theory. This methodology is demonstrated here by research on transference case studies that connect transference to components of cognitive behavioral therapy.

Purpose: The study aims to identify the main problems of temporary accommodation strategies and to discuss some principles and guidelines in order to assist decision-makers for choosing the most suitable strategy and reach better sustainable temporary housing solutions. Methods: Through a qualitative and applied type approach, the present research has been done by descriptive- analytical method. Documentary and library methods have been used to collect information, and analyze case study to discuss the main sustainability issues regarding temporary housing. In this study, the main focus is on providing qualitative sustainable conceptual model as a platform for decision makers in crisis situations. Results: applying system to every region according to its local data before disaster, determining the activity steps needed to be done before disaster, at the time of disaster and post-disaster and developing a sustainable temporary housing approach. Only then will be able to house the victims in healthy and comfortable environments in a progressive way with the productive usage of the country resources and finally to be ready against the disasters. Conclusion: Lack of a sustainable strategy prevents community resilience and disaster preparedness. At present, the post-disaster housing approach cannot meet the cultural, social, economic and ecological needs of the victims.

The topological derivative tool is applied here in structural health monitoring (SHM) problems to locate small defects in a material plate with complex geometry that is subject to permanent multifrequency guided waves excitation. Compared to more standard SHM methods, based in measuring the time-lag between emitted and received propagative pulses plus some postprocessing, the topological derivative somehow compares the measured and computed (solving the full elasto-dynamic equations) response of the damaged plate, instead of relying on only the time of flight of the wave. Thus, the method profits the knowledge behind the physics of the problem and can cope with scenarios in which classical methods give poor results. The authors of this paper have already used the topological derivative in rectangular plates with constant thickness, but with defects consisting simply in both through slits and inclusions of a different material, and actuators/sensors located near the boundary, which makes very difficult to use standard SHM methods. This is an extension of the method, also considering the much more difficult to analyze case of plates with variable thickness and complex (non-rectangular) planform.

The purpose of the article is to determine the essence of respect for the rights and freedoms of the individual and the citizen when conducting cash payments. The author has researched the essence of observing the rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen in the sphere of prevention of administrative offense connected with carrying out cash payments, and also defined directions of development of the system of administrative responsibility in the specified sphere. The conclusion was drawn about the need to analyze case law in order to determine the legal conditions conducive to the commission of administrative offenses. The focus is on accounting for the planning of preventive work for new forms of economic activity, which may not provide for the permanent presence of the employee in the workplace.Key words: administrative responsibility, human and citizen's rights and freedoms, administrative offenses, cash payments, cashless payments.
