Objectives: This study aims to find out the distribution of CBCT-3D examination referrals at Dental Hospital Universitas Airlangga based on the origin of referral, specialist field, age and gender. Materials and Methods: This descriptive research is using the total sampling method. Secondary data from the medical records of any referral patients for CBCT-3D examination at Dental Hospital Universitas Airlangga from July 2015 to March 2020 were included in this study. Furthermore, data references were tabulated and presented in the form of a pie chart. Results: The distribution of CBCT-3D examination referrals at Dental Hospital Universitas Airlangga was as high as 323 (77.64%) coming from within the hospital and as much as 93 (22.36%) from outside of the hospital. Based on the dental specialties who made the referral, six of seven departments have referred their patients for CBCT examination with varying proportions and indications. The distribution of referrals was also divided into gender (male or female) and several age categories based on the Indonesian Ministry of Health, such as toddlers (ages 0-5 years), children (ages 5-11 years), adolescents (ages 12-25 years), adults (ages 26-45 years), elderly (ages 46-65 years) and seniors (over 65 years). Conclusion: Referrals for CBCT-3D radiography examinations at Dental Hospital Universitas Airlangga are mostly from within the hospital, from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Female patients and the elderly (46 years and older) were found to be the most frequently referred.

Abstract Directional drilling and surveying methods and capabilities have advanced considerably over the last four decades. Progress in this field represents some of the most innovative and notable technical achievements in recent years. However, these successes have introduced a level of complexity which may be hampering further progress. Some of the consequences are identified and examined and suggestions made as to how these might be managed. The developments have resulted in greater accuracy and reliability of tools and systems with associated economic advantages. Step outs have grown four-fold, horizontal laterals are routine and closely spaced wells can be drilled with confidence. Using steerable systems, well inclinations have reached 164.7° and more recently a horseshoe shaped well has been reported. The earlier software tools and analytic methods did not envisage these situations, but their capabilities have evolved. In this specialist field, heavy reliance has been placed on the work and de-facto standards of the various sub-committees that comprise the SPE Well Positioning Technical Section (WPTS) involving both operators and service companies. The tradition of cooperation between these volunteers is strong and together they have produced a range of technical papers, error models, e-books and training courses. Formal regulation and recommended practices have not kept pace with these developments. Work on the proposed API RP 78 has progressed more slowly than the ambitious timeline envisioned at the outset. With the burgeoning introduction of new systems and methods, complexity has also grown. The accumulated material poses an increasing maintenance burden, increasing cycle times and slowing both technical and administrative developments. By their nature, models are approximations and a balance between simplicity and complexity is required to ensure their predictions are fit for purpose and control can be maintained over their development without stifling innovation. Many of the tasks associated with managing the WPTS knowledge base are administrative and do not require extensive technical expertise. Alleviating this burden from the volunteers would free up valuable time to address important technical advancements and refine the framework in which these are managed. The loss of expertise in this specialist subject is being accelerated by the recent down-turn and exacerbated by the COVID pandemic. We conclude that there is a need to move the administration of the WPTS resources onto a more sustainable footing and that external funding will ensure that the knowledge base is consolidated and keeps pace with continuing developments. Funding alone is not a guarantee of success as the activities are still subject to the vagaries of volunteer commitment and careful management will be required. However, the WPTS has a sound 25-year track record of proven delivery and it remains the natural choice to spearhead these activities.

<b><i>Introduction:</i></b> Over the past 4 decades, the management of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has changed dramatically. The publications that have had the most significant impact on HCC management have not been quantitatively analyzed. In this article, we analyzed the 100 most influential articles over the past 4 decades using bibliometric citation analysis to characterize the evolution in HCC treatment. <b><i>Methods:</i></b> The top-cited publications were identified and analyzed from the Clarivate Analytics Web of Science Core Collection database. <b><i>Results:</i></b> The 100 most cited articles were identified with an average of 738 citations (range: 349–6,799). There was an increase in the number of influential articles in the late 1990s, which was paralleled by an increase in reports focused on locoregional treatment of HCC. Most top 100 articles came from the USA (<i>n</i> = 35), followed by Italy (<i>n</i> = 28), mainland China (<i>n</i> = 26), and Japan (<i>n</i> = 24). The surgical management was the most studied topic (<i>n</i> = 33). The <i>Annals of Surgery</i> published the highest number of papers (<i>n</i> = 26) with 13,978 citations. While other 3 topics (surgical management, locoregional treatment, and outcome prediction) declined among publications beginning in the 2000s, there was an emergence of highly cited papers on targeted drugs and immune checkpoint inhibitors with a concomitant increase in the number of publications on systemic therapy. <b><i>Conclusions:</i></b> Based on bibliometric analysis of the literature over the last 40 years, a comprehensive analysis of the most historically significant HCC management articles highlighted the key contributions made to the evolution and advancement of this specialist field. The data should provide clinicians and researchers insight into future directions relative to the advancement of HCC management.

The aim of the paper is to consider and analyze the impact of subsidies levels and other economic and general factors on the farmers' decision to insure their crops. The paper applies the model of logistic regression in order to determine the statistically significant influence of certain factors on the decision of farms. The subject of the research is general and economic data from agricultural holdings in the FADN sample in Serbia for 2018. The sample includes farms that deal with specialist field crops, specialist grazing livestock and mixed crops-livestock production. The survey was conducted on a sample of 819 households, of which 99 households reported insurance costs (12.1%). The results of the research show that with higher subsidy level the probability that farms will insure their production reduces. On the other hand, with an increase of economic size and farm net value added per annual working unit the probability that farms will be insured also increases.

Introduction. Learning foreign languages at a technical university is an integral part of the educational process. A highly qualified specialist must have both knowledge in his/her specialist field and the skills of mastering foreign language competence. The purpose of the study was an attempt to analyze the data obtained through a sociological survey of students regarding the holding of the annual Olympiad in a foreign language at a technical university. Materials and methods. The material of the study included the answers of 114 students of the Stupino branch of the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) from the first to third full-time courses by filling in Google forms. The use of the data obtained allowed revealing the attitude of students towards the English Olympiad held at the university since 2014. Results. The significance of participation in a foreign language Olympiad was assessed by 23% of the respondents. Among the respondents, there were 73% of the respondents who consider preparation for the Olympiad an important element reflecting the student’s knowledge and influencing the results of the Olympiad. Besides, 78% of respondents have already taken part in similar events. Thirty-nine percent of the surveyed students discovered new opportunities in continuing to learn the language. It is a fact that some respondents (36%) do not think that preparation for and participation in the Olympiad can increase the student’s motivation when learning a foreign language. Conclusion. Olympiad activities and preparation for this event make it possible to train a socially successful, creatively active, and demanded young specialist, acting as an activator of a competitive and developing educational environment.

This chapter argues that orthodox career thinking—which focuses on vertical progression to higher-level managerial positions—is suffering from three shortcomings. First, it is insufficient to explain career dynamics in modern knowledge organizations. Second, it disregards the importance of experiential, lifelong learning on the job. Third, it does not incorporate how career is embedded in the organizational and cultural context, including a wide range of national, institutional features. Based on this, the chapter suggests that we move the focus from narrow career thinking to the broader concept of talent. The talent concept signifies any kind of outstanding competence of an individual (whether it is managerial or any kind of significant specialist field) which is strategically important to the organization, difficult to achieve, difficult to replace by other types of resources, and difficult to replicate by competitors. Also, a broader definition of how talent can be developed is needed as it should encompass informal and experiential methods as well as formal education. The broader concept of talent is discussed in relation to the Scandinavian context as the Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Norway, and Sweden) are knowledge-intensive economies with a highly educated workforce. This characteristic makes a broader talent paradigm much more appropriate than an orthodox managerial career perception and model.

Orientation and Mobility is a specialist field of knowledge, skills, and understandings specific to people with visual impairment. Blending traditional and developmental disability-specific eruditions, Orientation and Mobility focuses on the sensory, spatial, perceptual, and environmental concepts and skills for people with visual impairment. Linked to well-being, social participation, employment, and self-determination, Orientation and Mobility, therefore, is the cornerstone of equity and access for people with visual impairment. Despite this, there is little explicit discussion about the dominant discourses prevalent within the professional field of Orientation and Mobility. Drawing on theories of paradigms and grand narratives, a critical review of the dominant discourse on Orientation and Mobility learning and teaching was undertaken. The aim of this critical literature review was to identify ‘if and how’ the privileging of important intellectual traditions guides the professional field of Orientation and Mobility. Results confirmed that there is a consistent philosophical world view underlying much of the activity in Orientation and Mobility research. This paradigm of Orientation and Mobility professional attitudes, perspectives, and interests impedes a shared commitment to studying and improving the fundamentals of Orientation and Mobility learning and teaching. An important finding of this review was the effect that gaps in research and literature have on the future profession and perception of Orientation and Mobility. Alternative discourses to the traditional Orientation and Mobility learning and teaching are considered and discussed in terms of the longevity and growth of the Orientation and Mobility professional field.

AbstractThe search of legal precedence or stare decisis has always distinguished the lawyer who is in professional practice. The development of the internet has led to a greater dimension in this research and to an empirical approach to understanding the application of law. The academic lawyer has always needed access to the newest legislation and case law and the online search engines are of increasing relevance to accessing the virtual library. This is necessary to assimilate because of the impact of law and technology which is not just of relevance to find texts but also the process of artificial intelligence that is of utility in forms of inquiry. It includes portals that can be sourced online, Lexis and Westlaw which have available software packages that are available for lawyers. The issue is if the technology is moving at excessive speed or is the momentum of digital technology sustainable within the profession. This article argues that legal software provides the means for artificial intelligence in an increasingly specialist field and it is necessary for professionals to stay equipped with knowledge updates on computer terminals in order to enhance their research or lose out in the information supply chain.
