The existence of Covid-19 quickly resulted in many losses, so the government implemented a new normal. This policy encourages all parties to take various ways to restore the economic, social, and cultural conditions, one of which is by cultivating Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) which also functions to increase the body immunity and utilizing yard land that has not been managed optimally. The activities are socialization about TOGA, cultivation techniques, cultivation practices, mentoring, and evaluation. This activity was carried out during the new normal at RT.03 RW. 05, Limbungan Rumbai was attended by 15 partners. Partners are enthusiastic about cultivating TOGA and have increased knowledge after the implementation of the extension. The practice of planting the 45 TOGA seeds given, 100% succeeded in growing well. The success of growing seedlings include quality seeds, correct planting techniques and giving fertilizer at the right dose.

The cultivation of rare and or wild medicinal plants is one of the strategies to make it easier when needed and also to produce quality simplicia. The partner village program aims to assist the community in carrying out medicinal plant cultivation. The community service activities were carried out in the conservation area of medicinal plants and in the residents' yards in Pakuli Village and lasted for 4 months, from March 2020 to July 2020. The method applied was counseling and technical guidance. The results of the activities showed that the training and technology demonstration were well implemented and were accepted by the community. Counseling activities increase knowledge that is characterized by increased skills when practicing medicinal plants. Species that are cultivated in conservation areas are those that grow wild and rare, while in people's yards it is the species most widely used as medicine and which is of economic value.

This research can provide the answer that the potential of the local area is quite potential and needs to be utilized wisely for the welfare of the community. The purpose of this research is to know the potential of medicinal plant cultivation land and to obtain data base on the suitability of medicinal plant cultivation area with application of Geographical Information System (GIS) as a medicinal plant area in Sambore Tribe Area. In this research using survey method with MLA (Multidiciplinaire Landscape Assessment) approach is a method to determine "what resources are most important to society. The research instruments that we present are tools used in research processes such as GPS, benchmarking, thermometer, geological compass, stpowatch, sechi disk, salinometer, and GIS data analysis software and supported by data collection methods that are observation, documentation and experimental methods so this research can be done well

Medicinal plant cultivation in Controlled Environment (CE) is increasing in the context of the new findings concerning the abiotic stress factors manipulation that leads to a significant increment in bioactive substances. Pathogen control is a vital part of the cultivation system, therefore the study was focused on biological methods of controlling a frequently occurring disease, by inoculating the sterile substrates specific in hydroponics, with the beneficial organism. Hypericum perforatum seedlings were inoculated with Fusarium oxysporum and with Trichoderma spp. The results showed that the method of inoculation had a significant effect on the success of the biological control. The plants treated with Trichoderma spp. had a two-fold increase in foliar biomass and better development of roots than the plants inoculated with the pathogen. Morphologically there were no significant differences, with some notable exceptions. The health status of the seedlings inoculated with the pathogen showed signs of the disease, even in the presence of Trichoderma spp. Finally, determinations of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) at the root level showed that the biotic stress was considerable higher in the rockwool substrate that increased the secondary metabolism giving new perspectives in the cultivation of medicinal plants in CEA.

The impact of critical land create reduction quality of soil characteristics, which can interfere with the function of conservation, production, economic, and social life of the community. The objectives of this research are to analyzing and mapping of critical land, reviewing relevance of critical land distribution to the spatial pattern and making direction of rehabilitation in regional development in Kendal. The analytical methode which is used in this study were selecting parameters of critical land  and overlay using GIS to map the distribution of critical land. The result of this research is the critical land area in modification parameter is 34.317,87 ha, and parameter of P. 4/V-Set/2013 is 19.535,96 ha. General direction for land rehabilitation is vegetative conservation activity and technical civil conservation for erosion and sedimentation control. Direction for regional development in forest area is to develop PHBM through activity of agroforestry, community forest, ecotourism and medicinal plant cultivation in the forest. Direction on the farm cultivation area, especially on abandoned land and yards, is by optimization of community forest, by planting activities using perennials plant, MTPS and fruits plant, to control critical land, soil conservation and water management as well as increase community incomes by selling products from community forests.

This paper deals with the historical analysis toward the development of medicinal plant cultivation in Ukraine. The author gives current state of medicinal plant cultivation and basic features of investment attractiveness of the domestic market for medicinal raw material. Authors characterize regularities and systemic challenges of medicinal plant cultivation industry, typical of many areas of agriculture, which makes it possible to prove the main directions of its development in Ukraine. This paper identifies external environmental and economic effects of medicinal plant cultivation, creating additional benefits as part of a multifunctional agricultural production. Authors substantiate perspectives and priorities of state policy toward the development of medicinal plant cultivation in Ukraine. It was found that the strategic goal of becoming and development of medicinal plant cultivation should be ensuring with sustainable and guaranteed supply of medicinal raw material to various sectors of the economy. It was determined, that to implement the relevant tasks within these strategic priorities, it is necessary to develop state measures to support agricultural producers, stimulate rational land use and protection, conduct effective protection policies in order to import substitution preparations of medicinal plant materials by domestic production of the last.
