Structuring soft matter with precise control over molecular arrangements, nanoscale morphologies, especially aiming at functional polymers featuring chirality or helicity, responsiveness, and other features, has been a great research objective, which yet remains a challenging task. In this research work, we developed new design strategies for molecular structuring of an entirely new class of chiral polymers based on [2.2]paracyclophane derivatives. The grafting of tunable functional moieties onto [2.2]paracyclophane enables post-polymerization modification, where diverse perspective applications can be envisioned. In particular, chiral vinyl[2.2]paracyclophane and [2.2]paracyclophane-substituted diazoacetate give novel poly[2.2]paracyclophanylethenes and poly[2.2]paracyclophanylmethenes, respectively.

The city of Singkawang in the West Kalimantan Province of Indonesia is one of Indonesia's regions, which has a significant level of ethnic heterogeneity. It is very vulnerable to various conflicts. However, in 2018, Singkawang City was designated the most tolerant city in Indonesia through an assessment from the Setara Institute. For this reason, this study was conducted to analyze the political form of harmony and social capital as a Tolerant City in Singkawang City. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with literature study as a method of data collection. Data analysis was carried out in stages, namely collecting data, summarizing the data, and making conclusions. This study finds that the form of political harmony is the cooperation of state actors, the Forum for Religious Harmony and intense society, communicative interactions, and relationships that complement and provide mutual reinforcement. The people of Singkawang City as the main actors have also seen and understood having a diverse perspective not to discriminate and intolerance. Besides, it was also found a form of social capital created from the relationship between ethnic communities in Singkawang City, namely in general norms and group characteristics. Keywords: Politics of Harmony; Social Capital; Tolerant City

Severe racial inequity has characterized the incorporation of ethnic minorities’ contributions to U.S. history and advancements (Sandoval et al., 2016). These disparities are inextricably connected to White Supremacist ideologies and practices, and are perpetuated in higher education through textbooks, pedagogy, and research. Social work, like many disciplines, teaches about its early roots with a whitewashed historical lens. Indeed, review of the social work literature reveals the scarcity of attributions to Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC). Without a more racially diverse perspective on social work’s history, social work scholars promote and sustain White Supremacy. The implications of this are crucial since social work education is predominantly populated by privileged White students who adopt this mentality, unaware of Black, Brown, Latino, Asian, Native or Other ethnic “Jane Addams” who have massively promoted the social welfare of communities for decades without historical recognition or the privileged positions of Addams and Richmond. Historical distortions also potentially discourage BIPOC social work students’ self-efficacy and future efforts to contribute and excel in the discipline. To properly address this issue, social work history must be refaced with a more equitable and just lens. This review seeks to address the gap in the literature pertaining to the need for a greater integration and infusion of racially diverse social work historical contributions in several ways. Recommendations will be made for future research in this area to dismantle racist perspectives in social work history, and strategies will be offered to help social work educators and researchers address this critical issue.

Sociological is the approach of the study of education, delivering to understand the relationship of sociology with education. This study aims to find out about Islamic education in the perspective of sociological approach. The research method used is library research, then analyzed and presented the results of data findings objectively. The results showed that the sociology of education has a diverse perspective, in line with the diversity that occurs in the perspective of sociology studies in general. The importance of a sociological approach in understanding religion, because there are many religious teachings related to social problems. The amount of religious attention to this social problem further encourages religions to understand social sciences as a tool to understand their religion. The way of understanding in the approach of the sociology of religion can be easy for those of us who are still too lay because religion is derived also because of social interests. The sociological approach as an educational sociological approach consists of individual approach, social approach, and interaction approach.

Abortion as a problem can be construed from different perspectives. Psychological research on abortion attitudes has focused on testing hypotheses consistent with liberal narratives, according to which opposing abortion is explained by religiosity and lack of support for gender egalitarian views. We propose to analyze the issue from an ideologically diverse perspective, introducing hypotheses consistent with the conservative narratives about abortion, according to which opposition to abortion is explained by respect for human life and moral concerns about sexuality. Using data from multiple samples, including nationally representative surveys over 20 years, we found that variables identified by both the liberal (e.g., religiosity and ambivalent sexism) and conservative (e.g., respect for life and sexual morality) narratives significantly predicted abortion attitudes. Overall, predictors associated with conservative narratives show the strongest association with abortion attitudes. We discuss the value of generating hypotheses from ideologically opposing views to increase our understanding of psychological phenomena.

The data present in healthcare industry is very huge and delicate which requires to be managed watchfully. There are multiple fatal diseases which grow rapidly all over the world pancreatitis is one among them. Medical professionals want a reliable prediction system to diagnose Pancreatitis. Getting useful information out of the data which has been examined using diverse perspective and various machine learning methods and grouping the required information is a bit difficult task. When various data mining methods are applied on a huge and accessible data which will definitely provide us with the required information to the users. Pancreatitis contributes to Infection, Kidney failure, Breathing problem, Diabetes, Malnutrition, Pancreatic cancer. So, mining the Pancreatitis data in efficient way is a crucial concern. An outcome feature has to be predicted using a dataset where the outcome may contain only two constants that is either 1 or 0. 0 refers to the sufferer having Acute Pancreatitis and 1 refers to the sufferer may have chronic pancreatitis. Thus, an outcome feature with exemplary accuracy has to be predicted using the test dataset and classification algorithms. In order to realize this data is very necessary and then diverse classification techniques can be experimented. Then a finest model can be preferred which gives the maximum accuracy among all others.

Approaching a project can be considered a journey of discovery. Each person involved has a different background and comes to the table with a diverse perspective. The authors use the analogy of a journey throughout the context of the case study. Providing quality education for university students often includes a journey toward the best approach. This journey entails outlining the appropriate curriculum, finding the appropriate content, establishing dynamic learning objectives and aligning the course with student needs and learning styles. After these criteria are met, the university seeks and selects the most qualitied faculty members to teach the course(s). When specialized credentialing requirements are involved, the University must take further steps to ensure that each course meets the standards of the certifying body. The context of this journey and enhancement of Davenport University's Global Project Management Program will include three parts. Part I will review recognition that course updates were necessary to meet changes in the latest revision of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide 6th ED, 2017). The university faculty, staff and a consultant with project management credentials developed a consistent process for making updates and ensuring that changes were made to meet requirements. Throughout the consulting phase, principles of Human Performance Improvement/Technology were followed to develop this process. Part II will exhibit a case study that illustrates successful student certification pursuit after completing the capstone course in the program. Part III will review future opportunities for application of performance improvement principles to other projects.

The article addresses Saint Cyprian’s Work De mortalitate, making, a contextualization of the work, to later discuss each one of the chapters of this books, highlighting the diverse perspective that Saint Cyprian has of death and adversities in contrast with the pagan philosophical view. Subsequently, the article points out the four reasons that cause fear when facing trials or death, such as the imbecilitas animi, the parvitas fidei, the dulcedo saecularis and the error veritatis. The article makes an application of Saint Cyprian’s thoughts on adversity and death to the current context of Covid-19.
