The main goal of the article “The Neural Foundations of Aesthetic Appreciation” was to bring together the available evidence on the neural underpinnings of aesthetics from neuroimaging and neurology and offer an integral interpretative model. The authors relate how they wanted to explain how aesthetic appreciation was related to brain activity and why some studies had found that activity in some regions and other studies had found it in other regions. The authors proposed that there might be at least two stages of appreciation. The first stage is the formation of an initial impression. It involves perceptual processes interacting with attentional control signals and is mediated by a fronto-parieto-occipital network. The second stage is a deeper evaluation of the image and involves affective processes, searching for meaning, recalling personal experiences, and activating knowledge stored in memory.

The interpretive ethnological model “The Decalogue and Harmonizing Hermeneutic Maxims of Obligatoriness: An Aspect of Upbringing” is developed within the framework of a noetic interdisciplinary system of our four concepts (concept of humanization of myth; concept of megamodern; concept of ethicizing mythological consciousness; concept of aesthetic meaning). This system is based on the works by many outstanding scholars, including the achievements of interpretive (hermeneutic) anthropology by C. Geertz, the ideas of J.J. Wunenburger, K. Hubner, V. Frankl, E. Fromm, N. Berdyaev, J. Ortega y Gasset, K. Jaspers, etc. In the interpretative model, the eight “implicit principles of upbringing (world perception, behavior) according to the Decalogue” revealed by us are applied: these principles are based on the concept of man and the Universe represented in the Ten Commandments. This model allows examining distinct hermeneutic maxims as a sort of ethnocultural specificity of shaping the epoch of “new humanism for the 21st century” (UNESCO). A Family Portrait in the Midst of Chisinau Landscape, memoir prose by Susanna Cușnir, is examined according to this model. One of the revealed hermeneutic maxims reads: “The Universe is such that man can follow his creative impulses at any age”.

This article aims to identify networks of constitutional text structured in an imperceptible way. Constitutions has the power to reveal how its devices “dialogue” with each other, forming their own communicative communities. With the help from the network analysis methodology, an interpretative model of textual mapping is proposed based on internal references between the provisions of one Constitution. We use the Brazilian Constitution, whose text is very detailed, analytical and deals with various issues. As a result, a network was identified that included 174 connections between 95 articles of the Constitution and the existence of normative communities that share codes or communicative standards. The study demonstrates the strong possibility to found structuring axis of this communities and relates to the other issues that have reached constitutional stature, showing that the complexity of some Constitutions can be observed beyond its logical sequential structure.

AbstractOver the last decades, circular economy and its implications for sustainability have gained momentum in several socio-economic domains (e.g., academia, industry, politics, society), even though the relationship between them remains poorly understood. This situation has blurred the conceptual definition of both terms, limiting their research and practice effectiveness. To counteract this situation, scholars and policymakers are approaching Circular Economy as able to inspire the development of sustainable development strategies and to increase the sustainability of the current economic system, balancing the need for economic development and the importance of protecting environmental resources and people wellbeing. Drawing on the previous considerations, this study aims to contribute to address this gap, better understanding how a circular economy approach can contribute to challenge the number of sustainability issues that currently affect supply chains. In doing so, the analysis has been focused on the investigation of a specific supply chain, the pasta supply chain. To this end, after a brief theoretical recognition, an interpretative model has been proposed for better recognizing and describing the enhancing actions that—at each supply chain’s stages—can improve process efficiency, output effectiveness and, therefore, the overall sector sustainability. However, it is worth noting that the inherently theoretical nature of the study somewhat limits it; therefore, future empirical research is needed to further test the proposed model, applying it to other real applicative sets.

ABSTRACT. In this work, we investigate the N40°-50°E-oriented magnetic lineaments observed in the marine and aeromagnetic data from the Paraty-Mirim and Saco do Mamanguá (RJ) coves. The main characteristic of these lineaments is the presence of normal and reverse magnetic polarity, indicating that the bodies responsible for the anomalies may be of different ages or have suffered remagnetization effects by metamorphism or have distinct lithologies. The interpretative model of the anomalies was obtained by the 3D Magnetization Vector Inversion (MVI) and by the study of the geology and tectonics of the area. Our results suggest, as a more likely hypothesis, that the magnetic lineaments can be correlated with two tholeiitic dykes swarms, Resende-Ilha Grande and Serra do Mar, which have intruded the region at different times. The age formation of those swarms can be placed at time intervals where the Earth's magnetic field has normal and reverse polarities. The contrasts of magnetic susceptibility obtained from the models are consistent with contrasts of the lithology of basic dykes intruded in the gneissic-granitic basement of the region. Keywords: magnetization vector inversion, magnetic properties, magnetic lineaments, remanent magnetization, tholeiitic dykes swarms Assinatura Magnética do Saco do Mamanguá e da Enseada de Paraty-Mirim, Rio de Janeiro, BrasilRESUMO.

"Introduction. In Romania legal medicine suppose professional activities as forensic pathologist and legal doctor are facing victims that request documenting traumatic lesions if any or sexual abuses, prejudices, working capacity, malpraxis, etc. Objective. The objective of our work is to determine the special kind of doctor-patient relationship in clinical legal medicine and to analyze the ethical influences. Material and methods. More than 1500 cases of medico-legal examinations are performed in the National Institute of Legal Medicine Mina Minovici in Bucharest each year. Most of them are domestic violence requests or car accidents. Discussions. In the late 30 years (Ezechiel JE, Linda LE, JAMA 1992) found out 4 different relationship models that may be applied in medical practice; the paternalistic model (the patient accepts his doctor as his legal and moral representative), informative model (the patient expresses his autonomy), interpretative model (the doctor is a good friend in need) and the deliberative model of self-construction of the knowledge that the patient must have in order to have a voluntary decision. Conclusions. In clinical legal medicine the patient is not only a patient but a victim also. Therefore, the relationship is double folded. With his patient the legal doctor develops initially an informative model, then an interpretative model. With his victim the doctor develops initially a paternalistic approach (passive character type) or an informative one (active character type), usually an interpretative model as most highly requested (What would you do if you were I?) or the deliberative model when evaluating prejudices, etc. "

The paper deals with the issue of responsible and sustainable tourism starting from a series of Italian (and only partially French) cases of ecomuseums of pastoralism and transhumance as potential drivers for development and territorial regeneration, as well as for the promotion of experiential tourism with low environmental impact, capable of triggering participatory processes of inclusion and social innovation. Through the analysis of two Italian regions (Piedmont and Molise) and three cases (Ecomuseum of Pastoralism in Pontebernardo, Cuneo; Ecomuseum Itinerari Frentani, Larino; and the ongoing program of the Institutional Contract of Development in Campodipietra, Molise) the authors propose an interpretative model based on three main issues: the awareness, agenda, and action of a responsustainable tourism concept and on the three different subjects of local actors, tourists and policy-makers, obtaining as the main result the pre-eminence of intangible actions for development over environmental recovery and conservation activities.

Introduction. The professional translator-like mode of thinking is an integral part of the translation competence of a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. Equivalent and adequate translation from English into Russian requires a systematic approach to overcoming grammatical difficulties associated, first of all, with the constructions which have no analogues in the recipient language, here belong constructions of causative semantics. The purpose of the article is to develop a prototypical model of the English non-equivalent construction have something done from the standpoint of the cognitive-discursive paradigm in the aspect of its transverbalization and translation linguodidactics. The methodological basis of the study is the use of prototypical modeling, which involves the reconstruction of the primary cognitive-interpretative model of the situation in which it was used, and in which this construction realizes its meaning in the most complete form; this allows us to interpret and adequately translate many cases of its non-prototypical usage. The results of the research. The contexts associated with the description of natural phenomena and natural disasters are the prototypical situations of the have something done construction, therefore, when transverbalizing sentences with this construction, the strategy should be aimed at the obligatory conveyance of the semantics of non-agentness. In conclusion, the developed approach should be employed to improve the skills of critical analysis and reflective activity of students in the process of tranverbalization and the search for a translation correlate (transverb).
