Increasing the productivity of potato crops will require the availability of tubers that are of high quality and resistantto disease. Giving isolates rhizobacteria and coumarin is expected to increase the growth and formation of potato tubers. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best types of rhizobacteria and coumarin concentrations in increasing theproductivity of potato plants. The research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Center for Technology Transferand Agricultural Zone Development of Andalas University, Alahan Panjang, Solok Regency, West Sumatra, from October2016 to January 2017. The study used a 2-factor complete randomized design with three replications. The first factor wasrhizobacterial isolates, namely without bacteria, BT.4.1 isolates, BT.4.2 isolates, BT.4.3 isolates. The second factor was theconcentration of coumarin growth inhibitors, namely 0, 50, 100, and 150 mg L-1. The characters observed were morphologicalcharacterization rhizobacteria, leaf area, relative growth rate, growth rate potato tubers at 1-month-old, fresh weight oftubers aged 100 days after planting, tuber classes, namely: large, medium and small. Observation data were analyzed bythe F test, followed by the HSD test at 5% level. The results showed that BT.4.1 and BT.4.2 rhizobacteria with coumarin 100mg L-1 and 150 mg L-1 increased the growth of potato plants, while the results of potato plants were more affected by theapplication of BT.4.1 and BT rhizobacteria.

Circular synthetic aperture radar (CSAR) has a 360° observation capability on the central observation scenario. A typical way to process CSAR imaging is to cut data into small sub-apertures because most targets are only coherent at a very small observation angle. There are many sub-aperture imaging methods after development in recent years. The back-projection algorithm is widely used because it is simple and can be applied to an arbitrary trajectory. Because of the limitation of the Nyquist sampling frequency and influence of the antenna sidelobe, azimuth ambiguity is a phenomenon that may occur in the radar imaging process. The existing researches typically choose the back-projection (BP) imaging area according to the SAR platform flight path and the antenna beam width. The limitation of the CSAR imaging area and its azimuth ambiguity region are rarely analyzed theoretically. This paper focus on the sub-aperture imaging of CSAR, based on the BP algorithm, which derives the relationship of azimuth ambiguity with CSAR parameters such as the pause repeat frequency (PRF), slant range angle, velocity of radar platform, etc. This paper proposes an equation for the calculation of the azimuth ambiguity region and analyzes the limitations, which provides theoretical support for CSAR parameter design, imaging area selection, and azimuth ambiguity analysis.

Predicting action class from partially observed videos, which is known as action prediction, is an important task in computer vision field with many applications. The challenge for action prediction mainly lies in the lack of discriminative action information for the partially observed videos. To tackle this challenge, in this work, we propose to transfer action knowledge learned from fully observed videos for improving the prediction of partially observed videos. Specifically, we develop a two-stage learning framework for action knowledge transfer. At the first stage, we learn feature embeddings and discriminative action classifier from full videos. The knowledge in the learned embeddings and classifier is then transferred to the partial videos at the second stage. Our experiments on the UCF-101 and HMDB-51 datasets show that the proposed action knowledge transfer method can significantly improve the performance of action prediction, especially for the actions with small observation ratios (e.g., 10%). We also experimentally illustrate that our method outperforms all the state-of-the-art action prediction systems.

Blastocystis spp pathogenic potential remains controversial. Recently, many researchers have suggested the possible etiological relationship between symptomatic skin rashes and Blastocystic morphological forms, genetic diversity and microbiota interaction. A small observation series of acute and chronic urticaria caused by Blastocystic hominis in elderly patients has been herein presented. These cases emphasize the importance of adequate parasite verification under appropriate clinical settings and upon elimination of other more common causative factors as well as the significance of proper etiological treatment in urticaria patients.

This chapter proves several more results about weak isomorphisms between Moufang sets arising from quadratic forms and involutory sets. It first fixes a non-trivial anisotropic quadratic space Λ‎ = (K, L, q) before considering two proper anisotropic pseudo-quadratic spaces. It then describes a quaternion division algebra and its standard involution, a second quaternion division algebra and its standard involution, and an involutory set with a quaternion division algebra and its standard involution. It concludes with one more small observation regarding a pointed anisotropic quadratic space and shows that there is a unique multiplication on L that turns L into an integral domain with a multiplicative identity.

AbstractIntroductionThe Zika virus (ZIKV) outbreak in the island nation of Cabo Verde was of unprecedented magnitude in Africa and the first to be associated with microcephaly in the continent.MethodsUsing a simple mathematical framework we present a first epidemiological assessment of attack and observation rates from 7,580 ZIKV notified cases and 18 microcephaly reports between July 2015 and May 2016.ResultsIn line with observations from the Americas and elsewhere, the single-wave Cabo Verdean ZIKV epidemic was characterized by a basic reproductive number of 1.85 (95% CI, 1.5 −2.2), with overall the attack rate of 51.1% (range 42.1 - 61.1) and observation rate of 2.7% (range 2.29 - 3.33).ConclusionCurrent herd-immunity may not be sufficient to prevent future small-to-medium epidemics in Cabo Verde. Together with a small observation rate, these results highlight the need for rapid and integrated epidemiological, molecular and genomic surveillance to tackle forthcoming outbreaks of ZIKV and other arboviruses.
