The research is aimed at evaluating the lecturer performance in teaching the methodology of Islamic economics based on the students’ observation during the online course as the effect of COVID 19. The measurement of the performance refers to the concept of satisfaction related to the educational service by comparing the performance to the expectation adopted from Parasunaman’s five quality dimension: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The data is collected from the questionnaire. The descriptive quantitative research is used to map the strengths and weaknesses in four classifications: first, what aspects a lecturer should prioritize because the lecturer performance is low and the student expectation is high; second, what aspects a lecturer should maintain because the lecturer performance is in line with the student expectation; third, what aspects a lecturer should maintain but think again about weighting them because the lecturer performance is low and the student expectation is also low; fourth, what aspects a lecturer should reduce their emphasis because the lecturer performance is high but the student expectation is low. The result shows that with the four classification the lecturer performance related to the service quality can be managed well.

The quality of the educational service is one of the factors that is present as the objective of every university institution and, therefore, the quality of training of professionals in Peru, both in its face-to-face and remote modality. The objective of the research was to determine the association of expectation and perception of the quality of educational service provided by the National University of Education. The selected exhibition consisted of 189 students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. They responded to the survey based on the SERVQUAL model that measures the expectation of students of a university of excellence and the perception of educational service that is offered by the institution. The association between the two variables was evaluated through Spearman's Rho correlation. The results demonstrate a weak association of student expectation and perception variables at a significance level of 0.05. Likewise, these results are extended to the security dimension, in contrast to the other dimensions such as tangibility, responsiveness, empathy and reliability. This means that the gaps (P-E) that are the differences between perception (P) and Expectations (E) suggest that improvement plans must be implemented to obtain the quality of educational service that students demand.

Outcome-based education (OBE) provides effective ways for enhancing the employability of students enrolled in any program using attainment of predetermined outcomes. Literature survey reveals that OBE-based approaches to education adopt various methods for assessing direct and indirect course outcomes designed for achieving intended program outcomes, program educational objectives, mission and vision of institute. This chapter disseminates knowledge scientifically observed as analytical ways to efficient implementation of outcome-based education in various countries and compare the same for identification of effectiveness. The goals of OBE are achievement of similarities between student expectation and knowledge received through course items delivery of a teacher based on student-centred learning model, comparison of attainment of outcomes at institute and individual level, involvement of students for self-learning.

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influenced university choice in Vietnam. Survey data was collected from 167 students studying in Industrial University of HCM City, Vietnam. The research model was proposed from the study of university choice in the context of education in Vietnam. The reliability and validity of the scale were tested by Cronbach's Alpha, Average Variance Extracted (Pvc) and Composite Reliability (Pc). The analysis results of structural equation model (SEM) showed that the tested relationship between university choice and the four components of the University Choice included University Advertising, Student Expectation, Reference (Family and Friend) and University Reputation. In higher education there seems to be a ‘gap’ between the levels of undergraduate student expectation of being confronted by ethical issues in engineering work, and the amount of effective ethics education. Within this context, the purpose of this empirical research is to investigate engineering students’ views on two issues: a) How vital professional ethics are in their field, and b) whether they believe that professional ethics must be a part of the syllabus in their School. Findings indicate that teachers should make special reference to and strongly emphasize in class the value of an engineer's ethical responsibility. Furthermore, they need to spend a number of teaching hours on tackling problems in professional ethics as well as organize conferences, workshops, lectures and discussions, where the main speakers would be experienced engineers and academics. This way the technical and technological education incorporates more the responsibility of building professional integrity that can guarantee the much needed social goods of progress and prosperity, along with safety.

Globalization has become increasingly popular. Nevertheless, education in Vietnam has lagged behind developed countries. Thus, one of main reasons for Vietnam to engage in international collaboration is to improve training quality and enrich the human resource for economic development. This study aims to assess joint master programs at the Faculty of International Education at Foreign Trade University based on the overall student satisfaction. The SSI model developed by Temizer and Turkyilmaz (2012) to measure student satisfaction at private university is applied in the research. The data of this research are analyzed by the SPSS 20.0 software. The online questionnaires in the research are used for collecting opinions of joint master students at the Faculty of International Education at Foreign Trade University. From the analysis of 237 respondents, the results show that image (IM), perceived value (PV), perceived quality (PQ), and student expectation (EXP) impact on student satisfaction, in which perceived value and image mostly affected the overall satisfaction of students coming from joint master programs at Foreign Trade University.
