This study aims to evaluate and measure the Driver of Human Resources 4.0: Technology, Organization and Environment. Besides that, the study also suggests the better Driver Human Resources 4.0 to increase at the company in future. Meanwhile, these research objectives were found 1) to identify the relationship between technological drivers with Human resource 4.0. 2) To investigate the relationship between organisational drivers with Human resource 4.0. 3) to analyse the relationship between environmental drivers and Human resource 4.0. The theoretical model used was the Technology-organization-environment (TOE) Theory. The methodology for this research that has a quantitative method using a questionnaire survey by google form with has five (5) Likert scales. The questionnaire surveys by google form were sent to Malaysian private companies. This research used descriptive statistical analysis convergent validity and mean value analysis, correlation testing, which have been automatically generated by Smart PLS software version 3.3.2 statistical software to test the hypothesis for this research. From the tests that have been conducted, Driver Human Resources 4.0: Technology, Organization and Environment are the variables that affect the Human Resources in happening in Malaysian Public Companies. At the end of the study, the research questions were answered, and specific recommendations were made for the case technology. The most efficient recruiting networks have been identified as a result of this research, the most appropriate selection strategies have been suggested, and adequate retention techniques have been explored. In addition, some additional ideas have been given for future research for example the sense of accelerating the pace of transition, organizational factors may play a major role in the creation of an environment conducive for learning and innovation in a company nowadays.

This study investigates the influence of lean and agile practices on supply chain operational performance in Malaysia manufacturing industry. The lack of IT flexibility, little information sharing, poor delivery performance, and low product quality affect responsiveness, reliability, agility, and cost of supply chain operational performance Malaysia manufacturing industry. This study has utilized the Resource-Based View (RBV) theory to strengthen the framework of this study. The research objectives in this study are to investigate the effect of lean practices and analyzed the effect of agile practices on supply chain operational performance in Malaysia manufacturing industry. To achieve the research objectives, a quantitative research approach is necessitated. The population of this study is 3626 manufacturing companies in Malaysia. The minimum sample size is 107, suggested by a G-power statistical analysis software. Besides, the cluster random sampling technique is used in sample selection. Furthermore, a total of 550 online questionnaires was distributed by email to the manufacturing industry in Malaysia and received a return of 112 responses from respondents representing a 20.36% response rate. Besides, Smart-PLS 3.0 was chosen as the software used for data analysis. Based on research findings, all of the eight hypotheses were supported. The theoretical and practical implication was presented before, the limitations and recommendations were discussed. In conclusion, lean and agile practices play a significant role in improving supply chain operational performance in the Malaysia manufacturing industry.

The aim/purpose of this scientific inquiry is to empirically examine the impact of working capital management (WCM) [cash conversion cycle (CCC), number of days inventory (INV), number of days account receivable (AR), number of days account payable (AP)] and control variables [sales growth (GROW), size (SIZE), leverage (LEV), current ratio (CR) fixed financial assets to total assets (FFA)] on firm performance (FP) [ROA, Tobin’s Q (TQ)] in the context of an emerging economy, Ghana. The research used a dynamic panel System of Generalized Method of Moment (GMM) to test the hypotheses. Utilizing financial data extracted from final accounts of 36 listed companies, spanning 2010-2019, the study examined WCM-performance-nexuses by following the methodologies of researchers/scholars in extant literature. Findings/Results indicates that, whilst INV, AR, LEV demonstrated negative/inverse/indirect associations with FP; AP, GROW, SIZE, CR, FFA depicted positive/direct associations with FP. CCC however, exhibited a quadratic concave relationship with ROA.

High financial risk tolerance level encourages investors’ participation  in financial market. Thus, elevate their capabilities to achieve their financial goals and support national economic growth and well-being. This paper aims to investigate the factors affecting financial risk tolerance from studies around the globe. A comprehensive review of financial risk tolerance is carried out with a particular attention on factors that impact financial risk tolerance on financial decisions. This study indicates that financial risk tolerance can be explained by demographic profiles, psychology, social, geographical differences, and financial capability factors. These  findings will be useful to professionals, technologists, and financial institutions to identify potential investors based on the indicators concluded with the suggestion on financial technology (FinTech) utilisation. Hence, encouraging participation in the Malaysian financial market during global health crisis and  reaching  economic  well-being  towards industrial revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0).

The recent global outbreak of COVID-19 has created a huge global crisis, breaking down many global supply chains. Decision makers in the supply chain are faced with very challenging situation as the application of supply chain resilience mechanisms are questionable and unreliable during the post pandemic. Hence, leaving them to continue learning new ways to cope, adapt and mitigate the risk to navigate through the uncertainties. This imply that knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies of decision makers have become the centre stage for organizations' survival and sustainability.The purpose of this paper is to identify the key factors that influence decision making competency in the supply chain of the Malaysian manufacturing firms. This is a conceptual paper focusing on developing a theoretical framework through the integration of the behavioural decisional theory and competency model. The theoretical framework with respect to the construct of decision making competency are elaborated. This paper hopes to provide a valuable pragmatic framework and roadmap for managerial decision-making in the context of supply chain. By understanding the supply chain decision-making in operations, this can help to contribute to de-risking of supply chain beyond the usual risk response into the proactive reduction of risks for future supply chain sustainability.

Environmental performance is a new initiative to reduce the natural disasters that occur as a result of climate change. To foster environmental performance among employees in the organisation, green human resource management is one the prominent functions to mobilize the green culture in the organisation. This study sought to assess the impact of green human resource management (in the form of green recruitment, green training and development, and green performance management) on the environmental performance among employees in government linked-company via a qualitative research technique. Using thematic analysis, in-depth semi-structured interviews are utilised to arrive at conclusions with regards to the performance of the environment by assessing green human resource management. Research findings demonstrated that the green human resource management significantly opens more opportunities to the government linked-company to succeed in its environmental performance, and simultaneously awards more recognition in terms of environmental certifications and awards . Most respondents agree that the green integration to its human resource function contributes more awareness to the employees on the environment. While some respondents stated that few difficulties will be facing to maintain it but there are always solutions to overcome the issue. In conjunction with these findings, this study strongly recommends to all public sectors and public agencies to implement the green practices within the aspects of human resource. It is not to add the burden for the human resource functions, even it helps the organisation to reduce cost and save the environment.

Most industry players are dubious whether current digital technology is strongly affecting the long traditional demand and supply economy while scholars believe that companies need to have valuable and unique resources, excellent and agile capabilities, and the capacity of aligning their core competencies to lead the industry and therefore sustaining its competitive advantage. Companies are fighting with the aggressive movements by their competitors in the changing markets and facing very dynamic full of surprises environmental turbulence. We reveal the Environment Serving Organization concept helps companies to be well prepared in advance and applicable at all turbulence levels when the overall economy is at high uncertainty. By exploring diversification based on Ansoff Growth Matrix and using the regression and mediation models, this is one of the first papers that investigates the Environmental Turbulence level as a probable mediator in the intense relationship between diversification strategy and strong firm performance.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have a strategic role in the Indonesia's economy; however, they have a low contribution on the national export. Studying on SMEs internationalization becomes important to understand factors that influence them to go international. Using resource-based view perspective, the objective of study is to investigate how the organizational capabilities influence the intention of SMEs to export through internationalization orientation. A model was developed that explained the impact of personnel management, product development, and production capabilities on internationalization orientation, and eventually affect the export intention. Primary data were collected through a field survey by distributing structured questionnaires to SMEs over three months, resulting 86 eligible responses. These empirical data were analyzed to validate proposed model using partial least square - structural equation modeling technique (PLS-SEM). The results indicated that internationalization orientation mediated partially the effect of personnel management and product development capabilities on SMEs intention to export. The other finding displayed the unexpected result that there was insignificant influence of production capabilities on internationalization orientation and export intention. This study suggests that to increase the intention of SEMs to export, the firms must have capabilities in managing their personnel and developing unique and innovative product consistently.

Today, the healthcare industry has grown in importance as the number of hospitals has increased in response to the increased number of patients. This signifies that the world will be facing a more critical environment as a result of waste generation by hospitals. However, there are still insufficient studies that systematically review the existing literature on hospital waste management. Thus, this systematic literature review focuses on hospital waste management and its environmental impact. The results from Google Scholar and Science Direct show 80 articles starting from 2015 to 2020. Only 12 articles fulfil the criteria for further analysis. Most studies indicated the presence of hospital waste procedures such as waste segregation, a lack of awareness among clinical staff, poor facilities and government enforcement. The study contributes to the body of knowledge and the industry. This study explains the importance and environmental impact of hospital waste management.  A recommendation for future research is provided.

Online video streaming is one of the channels of the current economic development of e-commerce. In this technology era, our lifestyle is gradually moving towards electronic development and the public use of e-commerce applications for their businesses. Online video streaming strategies, therefore, benefit marketers, and this is mainly due to their cost-effective properties. The main objective of this research is to investigate the influences of online video streaming on customers’ online purchase intention. Three independent variables include perceived credibility, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are used to study the influence of online video streaming on the consumers’ online purchase intention. A set of self-administered questionnaires was distributed to 215 respondents from three states in Malaysia which are Johor, Melaka and Selangor, who had the experience of online purchases that were affected by online video streaming. The collected data are then analysed using SPSS and Smart PLS software. The results of the analysis indicated that all three independent variables have a significant impact on consumers' online purchase intentions through online video streaming. In conclusion, this research is important to e-marketers in order to allow them to gain a better understanding of the online purchasing behaviour of their customers
