Bioethics of Ecosystem Conservation Resumen Los impactos antrópicos sobre los entornos naturales han ido creciendo drásticamente en los últimos años. Ello implicó la pérdida de biodiversidad, y la consecuente necesidad de declarar áreas que protejan y preserven la biodiversidad origina. La confianza y organización de la ciudadanía pueden incidir en políticas públicas que provean cambios profundos. Para eso es menester estar atentos a las oportunidades y generar confianza, con lucidez y veracidad.Abstract The anthropic impacts on natural environments have been growing dramatically in recent years. This implied the loss of biodiversity, and the consequent need to declare areas that protect and preserve the original biodiversity. The trust and organization of citizens can influence public policies that provide profound changes. For that, it is necessary to be alert to opportunities and build trust, with clarity and truthfulness.Key Words: Land Use, Natural Environments, Deforestation, Public Participation, Public Policies.

Pandemia do Covid 19 e crise ambiental: questões críticas

Covid 19 Pandemic and Environmental Crisis: Critical IssuesResumo O artigo discute as questões críticas que emergem da catástrofe provocada pela pandemia do covid19. Trata-se de uma crise, ao mesmo tempo sanitária, ambiental e econômica, questionando os fundamentos que regem a sociabilidade. O esvaziamento dos serviços coletivos públicos em favor do setor privado, principalmente, em relação ao sistema de saúde e a visão econômica da natureza, reduzida a estoque de recursos, estão na origem da falta de uma resposta adequada ao problema. Essa constatação aponta para a necessidade da reconstituição do comum, como cimento da sociedade, e da compreensão ecocentrada da natureza, como serviços ecossistêmicos para as condições ambientais para a reprodução da vida. Essa tomada de posição significa pensar um outro modelo de economia que parte de que a natureza é um limite aos processos produtivos, impondo-se, como consequência, levar em consideração, nos cálculos, a entropia e os danos provocados por esses processos. A necessária metamorfose do nosso tempo exige, na verdade, uma mutação antropológica radical na concepção vigente do homo oeconomicus e a emergência do homo communis.Abstract The article discusses critical issues that emerge from the catastrophe of the covid19 pandemic. It is a question of a crisis, which is, at the same time, sanitarian, environmental and economical, questioning the basis that manages the sociability. The emptying of the public collective services in favor of the private sector, mainly, concerning the health system and the economic approach of the nature, reduced to a stock of resources, are at the origin of the lack of an appropriate answer to the problem. This remark points out the necessity of the reconstruction of the common, as the foundation of the society, and the ecocentric understanding of the nature, as ecosystem service for the environmental conditions to the reproduction of life. This point of view means thinking other pattern of economy which departs that the nature is a limit to the production processes, imposing, consequently, having in consideration the calculus of the entropy and the damages of these processes on the budget. The needed metamorphosis of our time demands actually radical anthropological change on the in force conception of the homo oeconomicus and the emergency of the homo communis.Key Words: Pandemic, Sanitary Crisis, Environmental Crisis, Ecocentrism, Ecological Economy, Homo Oeconomicus.

Bioética de la fitodepuración de aguas

Bioethics of Water PhytodepurationResumen Basado en principios de permacultura, recuperamos la idea de que el agua es un elemento clave en la trama de la vida, en el planeta Tierra. Somos agua, más que “poseemos” agua en nuestro cuerpo, es la base para reconsiderar la memoria de las estructuras que desde el agua, permiten reproducir los ciclos vitales. Los usos de suelo y formas de habitar actual, podrían mejorar su impacto en el ciclo del agua, utilizando principios de fito-depuración, de bajo costo y tecnología accesible, para permitir más rápida re-vivificación del medio acuoso.Abstract Based on permaculture principles, we recover the idea that water is a key element in the web of life in the Earth. We “are” water, more than we “have” water in our body, it is the basis for reconsidering the memory of the structures that, from the water, allow us to reproduce life cycles. The current ways of living and land uses, could improve their impact on the water cycles, using low-cost phyto-purification principles and accessible technology, to allow faster re-vivification of the wet-lands and all water systems.Key words: Waters (Gray - Black), Phytodepuration, Permaculure, Septic Chamber.

Lineamientos generales acerca de algunos conceptos en materia de salud en el Nuevo Código Civil y Comercial de la Nación

General Guidelines about some Concepts in Health in the New Civil and Commercial Code of the NationResumen Nos proponemos abordar de manera breve e introductoria, algunos lineamientos que adopta el Nuevo Código Civil y Comercial de la Nación en materia de salud. Este Código del siglo XXI se inserta en un sistema complejo, caracterizado por el dictado de leyes especiales, jurisprudencia pretoriana y pluralidad de fuentes. Es de gran importancia que el Código defina los grandes paradigmas del derecho privado a través de los principios que van estructurando el resto del ordenamiento. El tratamiento del tema lo articulamos desde la mirada de los derechos humanos, en particular el derecho a la salud. El desarrollo es esquemático y no pretende agotar el tratamiento que merecen cada uno de los temas incorporados, en particular.Abstract We propose to address in a brief and introductory way, some guidelines adopted by the New Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation in matters of health. This Code of the 21st century is inserted into a complex system, characterized by the enactment of special laws, Praetorian jurisprudence and plurality of sources. It is of great importance that the Code defines the great paradigms of private law through the principles that structure the rest of the system. The treatment of the subject is articulated from the perspective of human rights, in particular the right to health. The development is schematic and is not intended to exhaust the treatment that each of the topics incorporated deserve, in particular. Key words: Health, Autonomy, Informed Consent, Right to Health.

It’s Time to Reflect on What We Do. Bioethics, Environment and PandemicResumen Desde sus orígenes la bioética fue concebida como ciencia de la supervivencia. Sus aportes recobran vigencia ante la situación pandémica y de crisis civilizatoria que cuestiona nuestros modelos de producción y desarrollo Nos proponemos un breve recorrido por las diversas vertientes actuales, desde la ética ambiental, la ecoética, la bioética ecológica y la Bioética fundada en los derechos humanos y algunas consideraciones éticas acerca de la situación ambiental odierna. Desde allí nos parece oportuno destacar algunos aspectos, tal vez poco considerados, y que cobran relevancia en este presente de transiciones y cambios, como son la revisión del enfoque tradicional de la salud a su valor como bien social y comunitario, la discusión y aportes acerca del bien común y los bienes comunes y de la Justicia ambiental que urge incorporar en los procesos productivos, en la economía y la política.Abstract From its beginning, Bioethics was conceived as a science of survival. Their contributions regain validity in the face of the pandemic situation and the crisis of civilization that questions our production and development models. We propose a brief review of the various current aspects, from environmental ethics, eco-ethics, ecological bioethics, human rights based bioehics, and some ethical considerations about the environmental situation or human beings. From there, it seems appropriate to highlight some aspects, perhaps little considered, and that become relevant in this moment of transitions and changes, such as the review of the traditional approach to health, to its value as a social and community good, the discussion and contributions about of the common good and the common goods, and of the environmental justice that it is urgent to incorporate in the productive system, as well as in economy and politics. Creencia y praxis en la fundamentación de los Derechos Humanos. Una tensión entre metafísica y subjetividad

Belief and Praxis in The Foundation of Human Rights. A Tension between Metaphysics and Subjectivity ResumenLa fundamentación implica, al menos en un sentido inmediato, el intento de asir una determinada naturaleza, y por consiguiente conserva la pretensión de fijar –bajo una cierta categoría de conceptos inmóviles– un “algo”, que, de suyo, se realiza en el trasiego del movimiento.A partir de ello surge la siguiente problemática: ¿cómo expresar una ética acerca del hombre si este –en tanto subjetividad derelicta en el tiempo– se resiente a ser detenida y fosilizada en una categoría racional, connaturalmente quieta y ajena a la experiencia del movimiento? ¿Es posible, a partir de ello, establecer un fundamento acerca de los Derechos Humanos, que parecieran ser –al menos como supuesto– el a priori desde el cual concebir la relación ética y humana en el espacio político?A partir de ello consideramos relevante pensar, que detrás de su formulación –aún problemática y revisable– se esconde la tensión de dos modos de intelección que han atravesadoel modo de ser de la filosofía occidental, a saber: el metafísico y el pragmático.Intentaremos, desde dos autores contemporáneos, tales como José Ortega y Gasset y Michel de Certeau, que aunque disímiles en el espacio geográfico de la reflexión, congruos en cuanto al planteamiento de la relación entre “praxis, creencia y circunstancia”, ofrecer la posibilidad de una palabra sobre el intento de fundamentación de los Derechos Humanos, justificación, en que la misma praxis –sin abandonar lo revisable de la circunstancia– apela a la universalidad de creencias comunes sin fundamentación alguna en la metafísica de la verdad como sustancia. AbstractThe foundation implies, at least in an immediate sense, the attempt to grasp a certain nature, and therefore retains the claim to fix –under a certain category of immovable concepts– a “something”, which, of yours, is carried out in the movement of the movement.From this, the following problem arises: how to express an ethic about man if he –as a subjectivity that is timeless– resents being detained and fossilized in a rational category, inbornly still and oblivious to the experience of the movement? Is it possible, from this, to establish a foundation about Human Rights, which seems to be –at least as assumed– the a priori from which to conceive the ethical and human relationship in the political space?From this we consider it relevant to think that behind its formulation –still problematic and revisable– the tension of two modes of intellection that have crossed the way of being of Western philosophy is hidden, namely: the metaphysical and the pragmatic.We will try, from two contemporary authors, such as José Ortega y Gasset and Michel de Certeau, that although dissimilar in the geographical space of reflection, congruous regarding the approach of the relationship between “praxis, belief and circumstance”, offer the possibility of A word about the attempted foundation of Human Rights, justification, in which the same praxis –without abandoning the review of the circumstance– appeals to the universality of common beliefs without any foundation in the metaphysics of truth as a substance. Educación sexual integral, maltrato y abuso infanto-adolescente

Comprehensive Sexual Education, Mistreatment and Infant-Adolescent Abuse ResumenEl abuso sexual contra niños, niñas y adolescentes es una de las peores formas de maltrato y violencia contra la niñez y adolescencia. Aunque este drama constituye un problema creciente no siempre es detectado ni denunciado.Por tanto, en este trabajo centraré mi atención en el modo en que la aplicación del Programa Nacional de Educación Sexual Integral desarrollado en las comunidades educativas puede contribuir a diagnosticar, prevenir, sanar y sensibilizar acerca de las situaciones anteriormente planteadas.Por otro lado, quienes se encargan de la formación integral de las personas en la escuela, llevan impresas las marcas de un modelo vincular patriarcal y jerárquico. La puesta en marcha del Programa también incidirá en el reconocimiento de esas huellas y podrá ofrecer herramientas para su modificación. Los equipos de conducción y orientación escolar, el cuerpo docente y el personal no docente serán los primeros beneficiarios de la aplicación de la Ley si en las instituciones se asume comprometidamente y en conjunto esta tarea.Como educadora, apuesto a los procesos transformadores con fuerte incidencia en el desarrollo personal e interpersonal. Por eso, en este trabajo presentaré brevemente el Programa Nacional de Educación Sexual Integral, los ejes que lo atraviesan y el impacto que genera en adultos y estudiantes, para destacar su aplicación y cómo la transversalidad de la perspectiva de género puede contribuir a la toma de conciencia de las inequidades de género y a suscitar nuevas formas de vincularidad en las dinámicas escolares y familiares que permitan evitar, reconocer y denunciar situaciones de maltrato y abuso. AbstractChild sexual abuse is one of the worst types of mistreatment and aggression. This tragedy is an increasing problem although it is not always easily identified or reported.Thus, in this paper I will concentrate on the implementation of the Comprehensive Sexual Education Plan developed by the educational community and on the way this plan can help diagnose, prevent, heal and raise awareness of the situations previously mentioned. On the other hand, the people in charge of the comprehensive education at schools carry the scars of a patriarchal and hierarchical relationship model. The implementation of the Plan will also help confront this scars and offer tools for its modification. Educational counseling teams, teaching and non-teaching staff will be the prime beneficiaries of this law if they are truly committed and work together for its correct application.As an educator I support all transformational processes having a positive impact on personal and interpersonal growth. Hence, in this paper I will briefly present the National Comprehensive Sexual Education Plan, the different issues involved and its impact on adults and student by highlighting how gender perspective (mainstreaming) can contribute to raising awareness of gender inequities and to promote new ways of bonding within schools and families thus helping avoid, recognize and report situations of mistreatment and abuse.
