Sundanese people lost one of the main guardians of their culture, Ajip Rosidi (1938-2020). He is a writer who has a great contribution in the treasure of Indonesian and regional literature. One of his important contributions is preserving the legacy of the works of Haji Hasan Mustapa (1852-1930), the greatest Sundanese poet who lived during the colonial period. This study focuses on Ajip’s contribution to Hasan Mustapa’s works. The source is Ajip’s publications relating to Hasan Mustapa over a period of more than 50 years (1960-2017). Through a intertextual approach, this study shows that Ajip’s contribution to the disclosure of Hasan Mustapa’s identity and the legacy of his works from the 19th century can be seen from a number of efforts he did: trace and collect the legacy of Hasan Mustapa’s works; transcribe and translate, publish, and provides an overview of aspects of Sundanese literature. In the Indonesian context, tarekat is seen as a social movement with a broad impact. Its existence and activity need to be paid attention to by the State, society, and other political infrastructure. Many experts have carried out the discourse on tarekat with various points of view. This study focuses on the socio-political sphere of tarekat and its movements in local Indonesian politics after the Soeharto Era using a qualitative approach with interpretive data analysis involving the informants who understand the tarekat activity in Rokan Hulu in depth. The emergence of spiritual organs with various ideological variants, visions, and missions indicates the strengthening of civil supremacy in Indonesia. As part of a religious civil society organization, the Naqsyabandiyah order can grow and exert a strong influence on the dynamics of Indonesian local democracy, especially in Rokan Hulu - Riau. The existence of this movement strengthens Bruinessen's argument about the tarekat as a "storehouse of sounds," whose symbolization of motion is described by the gesture and commands of the teacher. After the New Order, there was a shift in the political orientation of this group; the nature of taqlid to master teachers was only for religious matters, while on political issues, there was a shift in direction that was more directed at the individual interests of the congregation. Even so, the Naqsyabandiyah Rokan Hulu tarekat could still maintain its existence and political power.

This study discusses how religious development in Indonesia has resulted in switching the function of purity to non-purity in religious practices. Using a phenomenological approach, this review finds that some Muslims maintain their purity for various reasons, but some mix their beliefs with the local culture. This situation leads to the following study on a macro scale about Islam's indigenization in Indonesia's cultural landscape. This study found a relatively high cultural acculturation between Islam as a global religion and local Indonesian culture. The community reinforces this acculturation by promoting traditional leaders and the need for a sense of security that has been embedded in local communities.

As one of the countries with the largest Muslim population in the world (87.18%), Indonesia has the potential to become the center of the world's halal industry. Halal certification can increase the competitiveness of MSME products, especially related to product guarantees to provide comfort, security, safety, and certainty of the availability of halal products for the public in consuming and using the product. The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems and solutions for food and beverage SMEs (Ekraf) related to the Halal Certification Process and Perceptions of Halal Certification Costs with the Actor's Intention to obtain a halal certificate. The research method uses qualitative and quantitative approaches by using primary and secondary data. The qualitative approach was carried out through FGD, webinars and participant observation with key informants and supporting informants. The quantitative approach is carried out by distributing questionnaires to 100 business actors and then processing the Pearson Product Moment correlation data. The results of the study show (i) the halal certification process (by assisting) has a very strong correlation with the perpetrator's intention and is significant, (ii) the perception of the cost of halal certification (with the cost of halal certification that gets subsidized) has a strong correlation with the perpetrator's intention and is significant, ( iii) The Halal Certification Process has a strong correlation with the perpetrators' perceived Halal Certification Costs and is significant, (iv) The Halal certification process and the perceived cost of Halal certification with the perpetrator's intention are very strong and significant. The halal certification process and the perception of the cost of halal certification, both individually and jointly, are correlated with the intentions of food and beverage creative economy actors (MSMEs). In order to achieve this goal, the synergy between central and regional stakeholders and related parties is needed.

The knowledge of cultivation and the methods of treating and solving pest problems naturally without neglecting the local culture has been an inseparable aspect of Balinese agricultural life, which is known for its irrigation system called subak. This study aims to examine agricultural scripture named Usada Wisada Pari from two perspectives. First, this study examines the types of pests and its countermeasure. Secondly, it is important to study the lexicon form of these pests. This study shows that the types of rice pests in the Usada Wisada Pari text are categorized into two types, namely animals and plants. The countermeasure consists of natural ritual elements from plants and incantations. Furthermore, this research also shows that all kinds of plague and agricultural pests, along with ways to overcome them, reflect the very strong Shivaistic teachings. All kinds of diseases, countermeasures and prevention are described as the authority of Lord Shiva as the god of destruction in the Hindu concept. It can be concluded that the scripture of Usada Wisada Pari is a text that provides knowledge about rice pest antidotes in an environmentally friendly and holistic manner because it involves natural and religious elements. This study is expected to contribute both to academics or future researchers as well as to the public. It is hoped that academics and researchers can use this present study as a source and expand as well as deepen the object of study based on ethnoagriculture. Meanwhile, the general public can increase their knowledge regarding alternative management of agricultural epidemics in synergy with nature and local wisdom.

Currently, Indonesia is entering difficult phases because the Indonesian nation is not only dealing with the storm of the Covid-19 pandemic but also natural disasters. This disaster brought a traumatic experience for the victims. Healing for victims can indeed be done with a psychological approach, but strengthening faith is no less important. Based on this, the focus of research studies is on the role of religious institutions, particularly the Church, in handling victims of natural disasters. The role of the Church is seen in catechesis. In catechesis, the Church teaches the values of the gospel and confirms the faith of the people that the suffering experienced is not a curse from God. During a pandemic, catechetical work can be done by utilizing virtual spaces such as social media content. Social media is a means of proclaiming the faith that is easily accessible by the people. This kind of catechetical and theological method was initiated by Kosuke Koyama. According to Koyama, the right catechesis model must start from the concrete problems of the people. Based on this, this research study uses the literature study method. Literary sources were researched and analyzed so that a catechetical model was found that was appropriate to the social context of the Indonesian people who were being hit by natural disasters.

Suffering is the secret of human life. Generally, people view suffering as God's reaction to human sin. This view is corrected by Paul in 2 Corinthians 12: 1-10, which emphasizes that suffering is not God's punishment but God's way of maintaining human humility in facing life. By using the rhetorical critique method, which is a method that explores understanding by creating a single literary genre from many inter-textualities, both in biblical texts and extra-biblical texts, this researcher finds a message that suffering is actually a 'mystical path’ to experience encounter and union with God. In union with God, humans realize that they are part of life as a whole, so they must share and care for each other based on the understanding that all human beings are part of Divine life. Thus 2 Corinthians 12: 1-10 affirms that suffering is not a negative thing and needs to be complained about, but must be grateful for the understanding that this is the ‘mystical path’ of humans towards the unity of life with Christ and fellow humans.

Abstract: The practice of interfaith marriage has occurred in the Dayak Ngaju community for various reasons and considerations. Similar reasons include love, pregnancy before marriage, and thinking that he is the only match. Interfaith marriage is not easy to unite thoughts and wills together in an ideal marriage. This is because interfaith marriage couples need very high understanding, patience and loyalty in carrying out their married life as an effort to build high tolerance for differences that occur between them through mutual agreement and commitment. Unavoidable phenomenon. This can be seen in couples who marry different religions with a background of emotional experiences together. Through this agreement, a join commitment is neeeded to carry it out responsibly as joint commitment is needed to carry it out responsibly as a form of loving God and others (Matthew 22:37-40).

The issue of locality emerged in line with the 1998 reform movement, one of which demanded decentralization of development, including culture. The local identity of the Cepu community is important in this study. Talking about Cepu City cannot be separated from the Islamic Sultanate of Demak, Sunan Kudus, and Arya Penangsang. Arya Penangsang is the grandson of Raden Patah (founder of the Islamic Sultanate of Demak), Sunan Kudus's favorite religious and intelligent student. He is also the Duke of Jipang (Cepu of the past) who is known to be wise, brave, and a staunch Muslim. However, Cepu is an old city that historically has always been defeated, especially after the collapse of the Islamic Sultanate of Demak which was replaced by Javanese rulers in Pajang and Mataram. In the coastal areas he was known as the prince of the last heir to the Islamic Sultanate of Demak who was killed dramatically. The representation of Cepu's local identity comes through the figure of Arya Penangsang and efforts to revitalize the past glory of Jipang Kadipaten as a means of articulation. Interestingly, Arya Penangsang is a figure whom the rulers and most of the Javanese people regard as an evil, cruel, and power-hungry rebel. Thus, efforts to represent the local identity of the Cepu community clash with the dominant discourse of Javanese society in general. Using the ethnographic method, this article aims to express the love of the Cepu people towards Arya Penangsang and the Kadipaten Jipang. The results of this study will explain how Arya Penangsang and the past glory of the Kadipaten Jipang have been awakened in the collective memory of the Cepu people. Arya Penangsang and the Kadipaten Jipang are currently constructed as local heroes in discourses on the revitalization of Cepu City. The results of this study contribute to become a model for the revitalization of other cities that have the same issue.
