The purpose of this study to develop a new instrument of tawadhu that valid, unbiased, and can be used in Indonesia. The research method uses combination similarization in Islamic Psychological studies and psychological construction scale. The number of participants in this research is 613 Muslims with range 16 to 45 years old. Instrument consists of 7 items measuring intrapersonal dimension and 13 items measuring interpersonal dimension. Methods that used measuring instrument testing are Aiken validity and Multiple Groups Confirmatory Factor Analysis (MGCFA) with a multidimensional model. The results of Aiken analysis show that all items are valid measuring tawadhu. Also, MGCFA shows that Indonesian Tawadhu Scale is an unbias scale. This instrument can be used by Muslims in Indonesia as it integrates the concept of Psychology and Islam.

The purpose of this study is to explore self-regulation of Alquran memorizers in elementary school age. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The participants were collected using purposive sampling, which consisted of six students, five parents, and one teacher. The data collection instrument used semi-structured in-depth interviews and observation guidelines. The data were analyzed using the theory of Miles and Huberman with the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The self-regulation of elementary school students who memorize the Alquran is still guided by their parents both in setting goals, motivation and aspects of affection. In achieving goals, it is also influenced by the motivational aspects which are dominated by transcendental motivation. Meanwhile, the affection aspect occurs in a transition process from extrinsic motivation to intrinsic motivation.

This study aims to validate the prophetic leadership scale by using a quantitative approach. 202 leaders were involved in this study. Data analysis technique that has been used for construct validation is factorial validation with confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), a convergent validation, discriminant validation, and social desirability bias with Pearson correlation. There are 4 instruments used in this study, namely the measuring instrument of prophetic leadership, the measuring instrument of authentic leadership as a convergent validator, the measuring instrument of religiosity as a discriminant validator, and the measuring tool of social desirability as a validator of social appropriateness bias. The prophetic leadership measurement tool measures the same construct as the authentic leadership measurement tool, and measures different constructs from the religiosity measurement tool, and the prophetic leadership measurement tool has a social appropriateness bias or the respondent's tendency to give answers in accordance with norms. The findings raise a prospect that social desirability bias’s influences fitness indices in a scale’s validation.

Industrial era 4.0 provides accessibility to smartphone use on early childhood. The negative or positive impact depending on how parents introduce smartphones to children through parental mediation strategies. Parents’ character plays a role in shaping children’s behavior and discipline, especially parents with mindful parenting. This study aims to examine the relationship between mindful parenting and parental mediation from the psychological and Islamic perspective. We used a mixed method with sequential explanatory design. Mindfulness in Parenting Questionnaire (MIPQ) and Parental Mediation Questionnaire (PMQ) was used as measuring instrument with a total of 131 parents who have children aged 3-6 years participated in this study. The results show that mindful parenting correlates significantly to the active mediation strategy while its relationship was weak with restrictive mediation. In the Islamic perspective, when parents rely on all responsibilities and rights that must be given to children with the intention of worshiping Allah, parents will apply the rules to their children according to Islamic law.Industrial era 4.0 provides accessibility to smartphone use on early childhood. The cognitive elements of social capital need to be elaborated to understand the community-based forest management, such as the practice of parak and rimbo in the Koto Malintang and Simancuang communities. This study aims to identify and describe these cognitive elements. The research method used was case study method with constructivism paradigm. The data was collected using interview, observation, and document review techniques. Cognitive social capital can be developed through local ecological knowledge that has become part of Minangkabau customs and culture. The results showed that cognitive elements in the form of norms, values, beliefs and attitudes can describe how the community plans, utilizes, and controls the forest resource management. The identification of these cognitive elements shows that people pay attention to the principles of sustainability, justice, ability, security, profit, opportunity, and well-being.

This study aims to examine spiritual leadership in the context of the head of the family. The spiritual leadership concept is lifted from Fry (2003) which is defined as a matter that consists of values, attitudes, and behaviors needed to intrinsically motivate oneself or others so that they have a sense of survival through spiritual vocation and membership.  The construct approach used is the modification approach.  The number of samples in this study amounted to 405 subjects with purposive sampling.  The content validation used is in the form of CFA. Of the five dimensions measured, there is one falling dimension in testing, namely the meaning dimension. The other four dimensions, namely vision, altruistic love, hope/faith, and membership, can be measured by 26 valid and reliable items based on the confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach alpha test. Measuring instruments developed can be used again for further research.

This study was conducted to create an instrument that measures the conditions of happiness felt by the Sundanese in Indonesia. This scale is named the Bingah Scale. The measurement instrument modification approach was used in this study, where the researcher had chosen the theoretical construct that was relevant to the happiness construct in the Sundanese, then made new items that measured the construct. This modification was carried out to get a more comprehensive measuring instrument because it was adjusted to the language and culture where the measuring instrument was used. The number of respondents involved in the study amounted to 526 participants who were the representations of the Sundanese who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there were 21 items, both psychometrically and feasible to be used as appropriate instruments to measure the condition of happiness in Sundanese.
