The article is devoted to the modeling and forecasting of socio-economic development of the region. The dependence of GRP per capita of the Belgorod region on the average annual number of employed in the economy, the consolidated budget revenues, the volume of innovative works and services, the consumer price index, the industrial production index, the balanced financial result, exports was established. The analysis of the matrix of pair correlation coefficients of the selected indicators allowed to choose as the most significant explanatory variables the consolidated budget revenues and the average annual number of employees in the economy. The models of socio-economic development of the region were built. The quality of the models was evaluated. It was revealed that the most accurate is the power regression model. The forecast of further changes in GRP per capita was built on the basis of the retrospective analysis data. The method of extrapolation based on the construction of trend models for each explanatory variable was used to carry out the forecast.

In the presented article the authors consider the issues of development of regression model for process of food digestion by proteolytic enzymes in human body. The authors use correlation analysis. They analyze the main nutritional values and physical and chemical properties of meat products, the modes of heat treatment of semi-finished lamb products. The essential parameters and features are determined to find the dependence between the factor values and efficient values of the basic raw material, which affect the quality of the technological processes and, in general, the finished product. The regression model equation is mathematically calculated by methods of solving K. Gauss linear equations. The standard deviations of parameters are calculated, the initial data are normalized; the matrices of the pair correlation coefficients, lower and upper limits of their values are compiled. Equations of the mathematical regression model of meat proteins attackability by proteolytic enzymes — in vitro (pepsin, trypsin) are developed. It is proved that the obtained equation represents a regression model of the process of meat food proteins attackability by enzymes (pepsin, trypsin and chymotrypsin), depending on the determined 3 essential factors (weight of a meat piece, duration of frying, collagen content in lamb meat). Also this equation reflects the process of lamb digestibility in a digestive tract of a human body.

The Automated Information System for State Monitoring of Water Bodies provided an array of daily river flows in 12 sections of Kaliningrad Rivers for 2008-2018. The pair correlation coefficients between these flows were calculated. The coefficient values were quite high, with the exception of 2013 for the Mamonovka River. The most typical intra-annual distribution of runoff for the region was found in the Pregel River near the city of Chernyakhovsk by the highest average value of the correlation coefficient. It should be recommended as an analog for medium-sized rivers in the region. The most typical intra-annual distribution of small watercourses is observed in the Zlay River. The correlation coefficient dependence on the water content of the year was not confirmed.

Diffuse scattering from a substitutionally disordered tris-tert-butyl-1,3,5-benzene tricarboxamide single crystal is analyzed with the three-dimensional difference pair distribution function (3D-ΔPDF) method. The real structure of the crystal is shown to consist of infinite polar molecular stacks along thecaxis, which are laterally packed in a hexagonal fashion. The orientation of the stacks is disordered, but neighboring stacks strongly prefer antiparallel arrangements. Quantitative orientational pair correlation coefficients are determined for all lateral pairs separated by less than 100 Å. A careful analysis of the factors influencing the accuracy of the 3D-ΔPDF refinement is presented. It is shown that the effect of statistical errors is small compared to systematic errors coming from diffraction geometry distortions, reciprocal space resolution or incompletely corrected background. Various strategies for identifying and decreasing systematic errors are discussed. The impact of the systematic errors on the uncertainty of the results is not just specific for 3D-ΔPDF investigations but also relevant for other quantitative diffuse scattering modeling techniques.

Tryptophan metabolism plays essential roles in both immunomodulation and cancer development. Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase, a rate-limiting enzyme in the metabolic pathway, is overexpressed in different types of cancer. To get a better understanding of the involvement of tryptophan metabolism in cancer development, we evaluated the expression and pairwise correlation of 62 genes in the metabolic pathway across 12 types of cancer. Only gene AOX1, encoding aldehyde oxidase 1, was ubiquitously downregulated, Furthermore, we observed that the 62 genes were widely and strongly correlated in normal controls, however, the gene pair correlations were significantly lost in tumor patients for all 12 types of cancer. This implicated that gene pair correlation coefficients of the tryptophan metabolic pathway could be applied as a prognostic and/or diagnostic biomarker for cancer.

In the Irkutsk region there are recorded high indices of rates of morbidity, disability, mortality rate of the working-age population and low levels of life expectancy of the population, that is confirmed by ranking position levels among the all subjects of the Russian Federation. According to all mentioned indices of health the region is inside the top ten unfavorable regions of Russia. In relation to the problem in the state of health of the adult population the estimation of the causal relationships between environmental factors and certain health indices is actual. The list of studiedfactors included health indices that characterize the harmful working conditions of the working population and basic socioeconomic indices in the region. Estimation of causal-relationship relationships was performed with the use of methods of multivariate analysis - correlation and multiple linear regression. In the selection offactors for the construction of mathematical models of multiple regression there were used methods of the analysis of variables variability, pair correlation coefficients matrix and sequential switching covariates to eliminate the problems of multicollinearity, pre-standardization of indices for the elevation of the numerical stability of regression analysis algorithm. As a result of the execution of the analysis there were constructed statistical models for the dependence in the system variables “environment - public health”, which allowed to identify the most informative regression models for the adult population health according to indices of primary disability of the population, the mortality rate and life expectancy of the working age population. According to results of the analysis there were identified priority factors affecting on the health of the adult population of the Irkutsk region. To these factors there are referred the proportion of workplaces failing to meet sanitary standards for vibration and 8 socio-economic indices of living standards of the population.

The analysis of the statistical structure of the ranges is carried out, the degree of synchronism of fluctuations in runoff characteristics is estimated, and linear trends are identified. The annual values of groundwater runoff have been determined as the arithmetic average of the monthly average minimum winter and summer-autumn water discharges, the surface runoff being calculated as the difference between the annual and groundwater runoff. The stationarity of most of the considered ranges proves to be violated by dispersion or average value. For underground runoff, the number of such ranges according to the Fisher and student criteria is 9 and 12, and for surface runoff, 7 and 9, respectively. For 15 rows of underground runoff and 9 rows of surface runoff, autocorrelation coefficients are statistically significant at a 5 % level of significance. Differential integral curves have been drawn according to the data of each river, the temporal indicators of various phases of water content being determined from them. For the long-term, fluctuations of the underground flow of all the studied rivers are characterized by the presence of a prolonged low-water phase. To quantify the degree of synchronism of long-term fluctuations in the underground flow of rivers, the pair correlation coefficients between all the analyzed series have been calculated. In the long-term fluctuations of both the underground and surface runoff of the rivers of the Greater Caucasus, asynchrony has not been detected. Over the long-term observation period, the underground runoff of the vast majority of rivers is shown to be increasing. For ranges of surface runoff, multidirectional trends have been found. Most of the linear trends in groundwater flow and half of the trends in surface runoff are statistically significant. The significance of linear trends has been estimated by the values of the pair correlation coefficient and its standard error. The data on the runoff of 17 hydrological observation points covering 1934—2017 period have been used

S. Wright’s analysis of plant productivity is of great current interest. The research objective was to determine the pair correlation coefficients and S. Wright’s path coefficients for rice varieties and, on their basis, to identify the contribution of each of them to the plant productivity. Ten rice varieties were taken as the test material. The experiments were conducted in the irrigated experimental field of theInstituteofRiceof the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences ofUkrainein 2013, 2014 and 2016. Seeds were sown with an SKS-6A manual seeder; the seeding rate was 7.0 mln germinable seeds per hectare. The predecessor was alfalfa. The plot area was5 m2; the sowing distance was15 cm. The plants were analyzed for the following traits: plant productivity (grain weight), panicle weight, grain weight from side stems, productive tillering capacity, grain number per panicle, spikelet number per panicle, 1000-grain weight, grain weight per panicle, plant height, panicle length and density, empty spikelet number per panicle, and incidence of blind seed disease. Pair correlation coefficients were determined by B.A. Dospekhov’s method; path analysis, by S. Wright’s method. The correlations of productivity with 12 quantitative traits of rice were determined: the correlation was close with the grain weight from side stems and medium with the panicle weight and with the grain weight per panicle. Path analysis of the plant productivity established that the correlations of plant traits with the productivity depended both on direct and indirect effects of each trait on the productivity. The relative contribution of each of the studied 12 traits to the rice productivity was determined; both direct and indirect effects of their interactions with other traits were evaluated. This made it possible to discover causes and consequences of interrelations between the traits and, as a result, to choose valuable-for-selection traits, such as panicle weight and productive tillering capacity, which had the greatest direct effects on the productivity and significant correlations with it.
