AbstractIn this paper, the matters of dissipativity and synchronization for non-autonomous Hopfield neural networks with discontinuous activations are investigated. Firstly, under the framework of extending Filippov differential inclusion theory, several effective new criteria are derived. The global dissipativity of Filippov solution to neural networks is proved by using generalized Halanay inequality and matrix measure method. Secondly, the global exponential synchronization of the addressed network drive system and the response system is realized by utilizing inequality and some analysis techniques and designing the discontinuous state feedback controller. Finally, several numerical examples are given to verify the validity of the theoretical results.

Abstract Carbonate rocks frequently exhibit less predictable seismic attribute–porosity relationships because of complex and heterogeneous pore geometry. Pore geometry plays an important role in carbonate reservoir interpretation, as it influences acoustic and elastic characters. So in porosity prediction of carbonate reservoirs, pore geometry should be considered as a factor. Thus, based on Gassmann’s equation and Eshelby–Walsh ellipsoidal inclusion theory, we introduced a parameter C to stand by pore geometry and then deduced a porosity calculating expression from compressional expression of Gassmann’s equation. In this article, we present a porosity working flow as well as calculate methods of every parameter needed in the porosity inverting equation. From well testing and field application, it proves that the high-accuracy method is suitable for carbonate reservoirs.

In this paper, the stability and periodicity of memristor-based neural networks with time-varying delays are studied. Based on linear matrix inequalities, differential inclusion theory and by constructing proper Lyapunov functional approach and using linear matrix inequality, some sufficient conditions are obtained for the global exponential stability and periodic solutions of memristor-based neural networks. Finally, two illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the results.

The visco-elastic mechanism of particles reinforced composites has been investigated through revised Eshelby equivalent inclusion theory. A visco-elastic model is applied. Furthermore, by introducing Heaviside step function and Laplace transform, the creep constitutional equation related to strain rate effect is achieved. Finally, by equivalent inclusion theory, introducing secant modulus, the material moduli with time and volume fraction concerning Glass/ED6 particles reinforced materials have been given. The results show that the visco-elastic property of composite material is mainly determined by the visco-elastic behavior of the matrix, which meet experiment results well. It can be concluded from the results that there exits close relationship between the inclusion shape, volume fraction and loading path.

This research aims to analyze the financial inclusion towards the empowerment of the poor in Medan through financing Sumut Sejahtera of the Bank Sumut Syariah. More specifically the research aims to know 1) the concept of financial inclusion that is implemented as a means of expanding access to financial services of banks and non-banks, 2) the application of the financial inclusion  Bank Sumut Syariah. Bank Sumt Syariah have significant role in the economic development of the community through a variety of financing micro, Financing of the Sumut Sejahtera. This financing facility has a lofty goal given to the community pre-prosperous society who have a business but not bankable feasibility so as to be worthy of being a customer of the bank, as well a improve people’s lives and help government programs in the framework of poverty reduction. The applicaton of financial inclusion on the financing Sumut Sejahtera of the Bank Sumut Syariah has been very clear benefits in the economic society prosper who enforce the interests for the public good. It is a basic principle in Islamic economic maqashid al-syariah. For financial inclusion theory maqashid al-syariah is one of the logical effort that must be applied as a consequence of the economic understanding of justice on one side and of religious on the other side.

This paper provides a detailed description of employers' attitudes and practices in hiring newcomer job seekers in an attempt to examine the access to employment issue through the lens of employers. It applies social inclusion theory and expands the existing conceptualization in order to answer four key questions: Who are these employers? Who do these employers hire and why? What are current recruiting practices? And how do such practices disadvantage newcomer job seekers, deliberately or inadvertently? Some key findings in this paper include: the disconnect between immigration and skill shortages in the perception of employers leads to their maintaining the status quo in hiring practices; employers' preferred hiring strategies and technologies are constructed on the existing social networks and therefore largely exclude newcomer job seekers; and employers interpret personal attributes based on mainstream social and corporate cultural norms and it disproportionately disadvantages newcomer job seekers.

This study reports the relative effectiveness of the inclusion theory when the combined strategy instruction on improving the reading comprehension of narrative and expository texts for students with dyslexia is implemented. A total sample of 298 students of English as a foreign language from both public and private schools participated in the study which employed a pre-test- post-test control group design to investigate the efficacy of combined strategy instruction consisting of Graphic organizers, Visual displays, Mnemonic illustrations, Computer exercises, Prediction, Inference, Text structure awareness, Main idea identification, Summarization, and Questioning. The study concluded that combined strategy instruction in the field of the inclusion theory is more effective than regular instruction in improving reading comprehension when using narrative texts, but there’s no difference, when using expository texts. There was no significant difference neither by gender nor by school types in all the grade levels under study.
