Modern schools continue to emphasize the nurturing of a socially oriented student, which should contribute to social maturity. As a consequence, there is a need to focus education on the development of a specific personality of the student, coordinated with the needs of society, the environment. The aim of the article is to develop and substantiate social competencies in education, which are a prerequisite for the successful socialization of students. The description of social competencies of a student’s personality is based on the analysis, systematization, and generalization of scientific experience on the research problem. The article introduces the concept of socialization, presents social competencies, characterizes them, and shows specificity and behavioral indicators of social competencies. The author substantiates the relevance of using new social competencies, shows their features, which are formed not only in the interests of the student, his personal meanings but also in the interests of social development, which results in self-development, personal fulfillment in life, taking into account the features of society functioning at a certain period of its development. The educational environment provides motivation for learning and working activities, the ability to adapt to new socio-economic conditions. The author identifies social competencies that contribute to the successful socialization of students in the learning process, which can be used in the practical activities of educational institutions under the conditions of educational transformation.

The article identifies and analyzes the paradigm of educational information environment formation in the technical higher educational institutions. The authors presented the paradigm based on the humanitarization of higher education, which aims to provide valuable guidance and motivation to establish criteria for creating conditions for self-development and personal fulfillment of future engineers. The article argues that revealing of the integrity of education and regulating scientific, research and practical innovation of training activities and educational paradigm should be considered in conjunction. The pedagogical paradigms of professional training of future engineers in the educational and information environment of a technical university enable determining the content of academic disciplines. In general, the analysis of the dynamics of formation and development of the paradigm helps to preserve the principles of learning and a genetic nucleus of the national pedagogical science and practice.

The article substantiates the concept of socio-pedagogical activities of a biology teacher and the basics of health in the mutual unity of its components. Peculiarities of social and pedagogical activity in accordance with its purpose in the system of modern natural knowledge are determined. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between theoretical calculations and practical implementation of methods and areas of social pedagogy, which is reflected in the essential features of socio-pedagogical activities as the main means of implementing social education. The system of theoretical bases of modernization of training of the future teacher of biology and bases of health is considered by authors as formation of personal properties of students of pedagogical ZVO. In the process of socio-pedagogical activities of the teacher is socio-cultural education of the younger generation, which provides targeted impact on each individual and team in order to master the heritage of universal and national culture, implementation of social values ​​and development of positive qualities. Training in the implementation of socio-pedagogical activities in educational institutions helps future professionals to understand their belonging to a community that has its own traditions and cultural characteristics, provides socialization and personal fulfillment. The pedagogical research on the relevance of professional training of future specialists by means of information and telecommunication support in educational institutions with the help of general and special theoretical methods of analysis was carried out, but among them the method of content analysis was chosen as the predominant one. The article deals with the issue of the effectiveness of using dictogloss as a way of enhancing communicative speech activity, critical thinking and creative potential of students of non-language higher educational institutions in ESP classes. The key stages of the traditional dictogloss are considered: 1) preparation; 2) dictation; 3) reproduction; 4) analysis and reflection, comparing texts created by subgroups with the original or with texts of other subgroups. The main principles (such as the principle of cooperation training and the use of interactive technologies, the principle of the curriculum and the educational process connection, the principle of diversification, the principle of the development of mental, mnemic and perceptual processes, the principle of emotionality, the principle of systematicity and consistency) aimed at ensuring the outcomes and effectiveness of innovation dictations and the ways of their implementation are outlined. The main modified versions of the dictogloss are analyzed and recommendations for their preparation in ESP classes are provided: dictogloss-negotiations, «student-control» dictogloss, student-student mode, «Summary» dictogloss, «Express your own opinion», «Reodering dictogloss», «Add details», «Picture» dictogloss. Dictogloss is determined to be an effective activity for teaching ESP, since it can be applied to different levels of foreign language proficiency and adapted for any specialism. The advantages of the dictogloss are emphasized: it can be used to represent a new topic, to revise and practice vocabulary or grammar material; it does not require more time for preparation than other types of activity; the teacher can change the forms of dictations, adding a competitive element or element of the gamification; it can become a source of motivation for learning a foreign language and a way of diversifying pedagogical techniques and technologies.

The professional training of specialists in multimedia design in higher educational establishments of the People's Republic of China is considered. The results of the analysis of scientific and methodological literature on the research problem indicate that its various aspects were reflected in the scientific works of scientists who considered the professional skills of future design professionals at the level of higher education (E. Antonovich, Liu Guilin, Liu Chunilin, Schi Chanfa, Yu Zuguan, A. Antipovsky, N. Borevskaya, L. Kalashnik, Liu Donmin, V. Danilenko, M. Opalev, N. Pazura, Su Xiaohuan, N. Franchuk, Zhu Mutsu, Jia Yachen, M. Yakovlev, etc.). At the same time, the problem of professional development of specialists in multimedia design is not sufficiently researched. The psychological and pedagogical peculiarities and organizational and pedagogical conditions of the development of professional training of specialists in multimedia design in higher educational institutions of the artistic profile of the People's Republic of China are theoretically proven. The systematization, comprehension and generalization of the research results are carried out; the features and general tendencies of the modern media industry and its influence on the development of professional training of specialists in multimedia design in higher educational institutions are established; the characteristics of the media environment are outlined, the content and structure of multimedia activities are substantiated, its classification is identified. The essence of the basic concepts of research (professional training, multimedia design, media design) has been specified. The expediency of the main educational blocks, which provide activation of creative possibilities and professional training of specialists in multimedia design in higher educational institutions, is determined; the essence of their constituents is revealed; the theoretical conclusions are specified, the prospects for studying the problem in question are specified.

We present main approaches of foreign and domestic scientists to a problem of children’s creative activity development in contemporary conditions. We analyze several definitions of “creative activity”. We substantiate the relevance of creative activity development support of younger generation based on the analysis of regulating documents in education and culture, as well as theoretical sources on a research problem. We define prerequisites and functions of creative ac-tivity. We give the definition example of “creative activity” in terms of the psychological condi-tions defining personal development of child as an indicator of successful assignment of cultural and leisure experience. Creative activity appears in inclusion of children in the creative, originative activities aimed at implementation of potential of the personality, its self-development. Creative activity extends to productive processes necessary for the quickest way out of problematic situa-tions that arise in the management environment, education and politics sectors, cultural field, in the implementation of innovation activities, as well as in the case of new forms of creative interaction practical implementation. This phenomenon is due to the enormous potential of creative activity in such social relations as “person – person”, “person – society”, “person – nature”, “person – sign systems”, “person – technology”, “person – artistic image”.

This article examines the requirements for quality learning in Islam from the perspective of al-Zarnūjī and according to his book, Ta‘līm al-Muta‘allim. This book has been a source of reference for both students and teachers in many educational institutions in Muslim countries, particularly, the Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The article attempts to understand the students’ learning requirements proposed by al-Zarnūjī in the above treatise. It is, therefore, a library-based research. The research tackles many issues. It addresses the need for a broad-based learning process and analyzes the requirements in the light of the modern day learning circumstances. It was found that al-Zarnūjī’s theory of quality learning is conditional on six main principles which are, indeed, determinants of quality student outcomes. These are intelligence or high learning ability; high motivation for learning; patience, emotional stability, and commitment to the learning process; availability of financial support; inspiration of the teachers; and disposition to time management in the learning process. The notion of quality education is fundamental to the classical perspective of learning in Islam.

In today's conditions, the issue of providing social (including educational) services to demobilized ATO soldiers is extremely important.The study of the issue in socio-pedagogical theory and practice led to the choice of the purpose, which is to analyse modern approaches and theoretical and methodological foundations of the organization of social work with servicemen-participants of the anti-terrorist operation.To solve this purpose, a set of methods was used: study and analysis of scientific and special literature and practical experience on the research problem; pedagogical observation, conversation.The understanding of social work with servicemen-participants of anti-terrorist operation as an integral complex of social services is presented, in particular: informing, counseling, mediation, rendering of various educational services, socio-psychological rehabilitation.The general approaches to social work with servicemen of participants of anti-terrorist operation are opened. It was found that social work is associated with adaptation, socialization, psychological, legal, social assistance and other social services, which was demonstrated by the example of specific projects.The study does not cover all the issues of social work with servicemen participating in the anti-terrorist operation. Topical issues include moral-ethical and pedagogical aspects of social work with members of the ATO and their families. It is promising to study the areas of socio-pedagogical work with servicemen-participants of the anti-terrorist operation, which can be carried out by educational institutions, non-governmental organizations and public organizations.
