The paper deals with the subject of rehabilitation and mechanical modernization of the extraction plant within the mining operation of the salt mine from Slanic Prahova region. The extraction plant serves the 23 August mine shaft of the Unirea mine, and also this mine has been converted into a tourist mine. The rehabilitation of the extraction installation consists in the change of the cutting wheels from the extraction tower due to excessive degradation, requiring the redesign under strict conditions, and also the rehabilitation and extension of the saline water extraction system from the tourist mine. The modernization of the extraction plant consists in the change of the DC hoist engine with an asynchronous engine of the same energy power and research on the possibilities of increasing the cable transport capacity with technical changes made to the extraction tower, mine shaft and the sump. Modernization and rehabilitation carried out on the extraction installation at the Slanic Prahova salt mine, will provide a safety in operation and efficiency to using the necessary electricity for hoist engine operations.

The paper approaches the necessity and implementation of a viable solution for constant saline water evacuation, and its transportation to the surface of the mine. A major problem in Slanic Prahova salt mine has been found to be water infiltration. Sump flooding is due to the high humidity condensation of the air circulating along Unirea sump, making a constant air exchange between the underground and the surface, at a temperature of 12-15 degrees. Water infiltration coming from ground water layers are also a factor favouring sump flooding.

The aim of learning mathematics in universities is to improve students' mathematical abilities. One of the important mathematical abilities of students is understanding the concept. With an understanding of the concept, students will easily solve mathematical problems. This research is an experimental research design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In the design of this study, researchers used one class as the subject of research. Before being given treatment, the pretest is first performed, then given treatment within a certain period, then given a posttest. The results showed that there was an increase in students' understanding of the concept after being given the application of the expository method.

Advances in information and communication technology (ICT) are changing organizations, with old practices being altered and new practices, spaces and possibilities created (Wertheim, 1999). It is the capacity of the ICT to support electronically mediated social environments that is causing reconceptualization of leadership conceptions. The emerging concept of e-leadership provides a framework to explore leadership in environments mediated by ICT. Unfortunately, there is considerable conceptual confusion about the term, with at least three different research streams producing different understandings. It is this complexity surrounding e-leadership that is the subject of this article (an extended discussion of this topic can be found in Gurr [2004] and Gurr and Broadbent [2004]). Research on e-leadership is at an early stage. In terms of Reichers and Scheider’s (1990, as described in Hunt, 1999, p. 131) three-stage model of concept development, which includes introduction/elaboration, evaluation/augmentation and consolidation/accommodation, the study of e-leadership is at the introduction/elaboration stage. While there is acknowledgment that a new concept of leadership may be needed, there is conceptual ambiguity as to what this might be, and limited research. Evidence and discussion about e-leadership comes from three main types of research: consultancy discussion papers, survey-based perceptual data, and experimental and quasi-experimental research.

In the deep coal mines of OKD, Inc., both bolts and long bolts of different designs are used for the rock massif and steel arch support reinforcement. Continuous measurement of forces in 6 strand bolts and 1 cable bolt (long bolts, generally) was carried out during the trial operation of the modified Room and pillar mining method at Mining operation 2, site North, OKD, Inc. Hydraulic dynamometers were installed on these long bolts and a monitoring of forces took place throughout the life-time period of the mining panel No. V. From this measurement, a knowledge of their different load behavior with respect to the input stress parameters was obtained. The input intensity of the force applied to the bolting elements is burdened by losses of various kinds. The subject of the article is a description and analysis of the intensity of the initial stressing force applied to individual long bolts (with a threaded clamping bush or wedge barrel) and quantization of short-term stress losses with a description and analysis of these.

The functions subserved by the plexiform arrangement of the nerves of the limbs, and the mode of distribution of the several roots of the brachial and lumbo-sacral plexuses, have been the subject of frequent speculation and of occasional experimental research; and the question is one of considerable physiological and pathological interest. A mere naked-eye examination of the mode in which the roots unite to form the larger trunks allows of an approximate deter­mination of the possible roots of each trunk; and by more minute dissection and maceration in dissociating liquids, as has been done by W. Krause in the case of the brachial plexus (“Beiträge zur Neurologie der Oberen Extremität,” 1865), the constituent fibres of the nerve-trunks may be determined with greater precision. But it is obvious that anatomical dissection, however minute, is unable to discriminate between the sensory and motor constituents of the nerve-trunks, or to indicate their functional relations and dis­tribution. The only possible methods by which this can be arrived at are by determ ining the effects of excitation or destruction of the individual roots of the plexus.

This study aims to find out how the application of the problem based learning (PBL), and the learning outcomes of Nahwu students; and to know the effect of the problem based learning model on Nahwu results at Wahid Hasyim Sleman High School. This type of research is Experimental Research with comparative data. The subject of this research is class X Mipa 1 as an experimental class and class X IPS as a control class. The results of this study indicate that the average experimental class students before applying the PBL learning model is 74. While the average control class students before being given treatment is 72. The average experimental class students after applying the PBL is 85, and the average control class after being given a treatment of 74. From the results of the T test analysis obtained a significance value of 0,000. That is, the PBL is influential in improving student Nahwu learning outcomes. This shows that the class given a PBL model on average is bigger than the class applied in the conventional learning model. The difference is significant. That is, the PBL model is influential in improving the learning outcomes of Nahwu.

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan model role playing lebih dari hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan pembelajaran ekspositori di SMPN 21 Kota Bengkulu pada pokok bahasan aritmetika sosial. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment (Eksperimen semu) dengan desain penelitian yaitu The Nonequivalent Posttest-only  Control Group Design. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar berupa tes akhir (posttest) yang berbentuk tes essay. Analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t untuk sampel independen, diperoleh bahwa  dan , maka yang berarti  diterima. Hal ini didukung oleh perhitungan melalui SPSS versi 23 yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,159 dengan taraf signifikan ( ) = 0,05, sehingga Sig. (2-tailed) > ( ). Hasil penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan model role playing sama dengan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan pembelajaran ekspositori di SMP Negeri 21 Kota BengkuluKata Kunci: hasil belajar matematika, model role playing, pembelajaran ekspositori.  AbstractThis research was purposed to know difference the student learning result of mathematics by using role playing learning model with expository learning on the subject of aritmetika sosial at the grade VII of Junior High School 21 Kota Bengkulu. This research was a quasi-experimental research design with nonequivalent posttest-only control group design. The instrument used in this research is posttest. The analysis hypotesis test used t-test for independent samples, hence obtained that  and , thus,  which means  is granted. SPSS version 23 program showed that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,159 with significance level ( ) = 0,05, thus Sig. (2-tailed) > ( ). Abstract: Over exposure of light can increase skin pigmentation. The aim of this study is to know the effect of lime and light exposure to the amount of melanin in mice’s skin. This is an experimental research and used mices as the subject research, which was randomly divided into 5 mice of control group and 15 mices of treatment group. Group A (K-) were given pellets for 20 days, Group B (K+) were given pellets and light exposure for 1 hour in 20 days, Group C were given pellets, smeared by lime on the back, then exposed to the light for 1 hour in 20 days, Group D were given pellets and exposed to light for 1 hour in 20 days then smeared by lime the next 10 days. The results showed that light exposure increases melanin pigment in group B compared to group A. For group C and group D, the amount of melanin pigment is less than group B. Conclusions: Lime can reduce the amount of melanin pigment in mice’s skin that had been exposed to the light.Keywords: melanin pigment, sunlight, limeAbstrak: Paparan berlebihan terhadap sinar matahari dapat meningkatkan pigmentasi kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jeruk nipis dan pemaparan sinar matahari terhadap jumlah pigmen melanin kulit mencit. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan subjek penelitian menggunakan mencit yang dibagi atas 5 ekor kontrol dan 15 ekor perlakuan. Kelompok A (K-) diberikan pelet selama 20 hari, Kelompok B (K+) diberikan pelet dan sinar matahari selama 1 jam dalam waktu 20 hari, kelompok C diberikan pelet, diolesi jeruk nipis di bagian punggung, lalu dipaparkan sinar matahari selama 1 jam dalam waktu 20 hari, kelompok D diberikan pelet, dipaparkan sinar matahari selama 1 jam dalam waktu 20 hari lalu diolesi jeruk nipis 10 hari berikutnya. Hasilnya : paparan sinar matahari menunjukkan peningkatan pigmen melanin pada kelompok B (K+) dibandingkan dengan kelompok A (K-). Sedangkan pada kelompok C dan kelompok D menunjukkan jumlah pigmen melanin yang lebih berkurang dibandingkan kelompok B. Simpulan: Pemberian jeruk nipis menurunkan jumlah pigmen melanin kulit mencit yang dipaparkan sinar matahari.Kata kunci : pigmen melanin, sinar matahari, air perasan jeruk nipis

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggabungan metode Outdoor dengan Indoor Learning menggunakan sistem sepekan di luar sepekan di dalam (SEPUR SELAM) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Polinomial kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Tawangsari tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes, dokumentasi, angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 6,098 > ttabel = 2,288 maka  H0 ditolak. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan penggabungan metode Outdoor dengan Indoor Learning menggunakan Sistem Sepekan di Luar Sepekan di Dalam (SEPUR SELAM) terdahap prestasi belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Polinomial. Sedangkan angket respon siswa menyatakan 100% siswa tertarik dan mengalami kondisi pembelajaran yang berbeda dengan penggabungan metode Outdoor dengan Indoor Learning, sedangkan 97,4% siswa termotivasi dan tidak mengalami kejenuhan. Kata kunci: Outdoor Learning;Indoor Learning;hasil belajar matematika   Abstract: His research aims to determine the effect of combining Outdoor methods with Indoor Learning using a week-long system within a week in (SEPUR SELAM) on student achievement on the subject of Polynomial class XI Science at SMA Negeri 1 Tawangsari in the academic year 2017/2018. The type of research used is experimental research. Data were collected using tests, documentation, questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The sample in this study were students of class XI IPA 3 as the control class and XI IPA 5 as the experimental class. The result of the t-test analysis shows that t count = 6.098> t table = 2.288 then H0 is rejected. It was concluded that there was an effect of using the combination of Outdoor methods with Indoor Learning using the Sepekan System outside the Week in (SEPUR SELAM) at the level of students' learning achievement on the subject of Polynomial. While the student response questionnaire stated 100% of students were interested and experienced different learning conditions with the incorporation of Outdoor methods with Indoor Learning, while 97.4% of students were motivated and did not experience saturation. TV Commercial Strategy is a learning strategy by forming a team in random based on the number of the students in a classroom that are assigned to create a TV Commercial or other forms of advertisements that is relevant to the learning materials. TV Commercial Strategy aims to develop cooperation among students. This research belongs to experimental research using PreTest-PostTest Design Experiment. The data were collected through self-assessment, interviews, and documentation methods. The results of t-test show that TV Commercial Strategy influences the affective learning results in the subject of PAI and Character, It can be seen from the score of t table at the significant rate of 5%, which is as much as 2,04. The score of T is (0,007) < 0,05. Because t-value is > t table  (-2,887 > 2,04), there is significant difference. The influence of TV Commercial Strategy on the affective learning result can be seen from the score of R 2 , which is as much as 0,687 = 0,47 (47%). The rest of the percentage, which is as much as 53% is from other factors influencing the improvement of learning results.
