The article discusses and describes theoretical research and practical results of using digital technologies in formation of values of physical culture in the medical university. The experiment involved 1569 young men and women of full-time education form of the Orenburg State Medical University. To collect statistics in the context of a pandemic were used the online questionnaire and interview method. The respondents developed basic digital skills in use of various digital tools that allow them to monitor the physiological indicators. There was observed an increase in the level of motor activity in groups of students during online classes using educational platforms. There was discovered a positive dynamics in the orientation of the student's personality to health as a value. Thus the systematic implementation of digital technologies in the teaching of disciplines (modules) in physical culture and sports contributed personification of the learning process, visualization of environments for the training process, enlargement of forms of physical and recreation activities, introduction of platform solutions as a space for pedagogical innovations.

The content of the article is aimed at a comparative analysis of the level of formation of educational motivation of students in accordance with the development of digital technologies. The digitalization process will make it possible to teach students in higher educational institutions remotely and in traditional form, providing for the development of human capital. Recent experience shows that 75 % of students are proficient in using digital tools, but academic motivation to study online is low. Our research was aimed at identifying the features of the change in the level of educational motivation of students in distance online learning compared to full-time education. A comparative analysis of the features of the formation of students' motivation using psychodiagnostic methods is carried out. The results of a study of 125 university students showed that the motivation of students to study remotely differs for a number of reasons. The article describes the pedagogical and psychological factors that contribute to the formation of educational motivation of students in a digital environment, and provides a quantitative analysis of the research results.

The quality of higher education (HE) is one of the key areas the higher education system of the Maldives focuses on to develop and expand the sector. Two of the factors that contribute to and influence the quality of HE are professional development (PD) and lecturers’ competency. However, in the context of Maldives, although efforts are made in the area of PD, little to no research has been conducted in this area. Hence, the purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between lecturer PD activities and their competencies in Maldives’ higher education institutes. A quantitative research design was adopted, which conducted a cross-sectional survey by administering a structured online questionnaire. A total of 171 lecturers participated, which included both full-time and part-time lecturers from two public and two private institutions. Data analysis revealed that there is a weak positive correlation between PD activities and lecturers’ competency; rs(129)=0.232, p=0.008. It is also possible that PD activities conducted do not cater for the needs of lecturers, and a culture where structured and individual PD activities are supported and encouraged is not efficiently established. In light of these findings, it is important to strengthen and expand the existing PD policies and focus on providing effective PD sessions on topics and areas that are most needed for lecturers, rather than on generic topics. This study contributes to the empirical literature on PD in the context of Maldives and to the overall development of the HE sector.

Актуальность статьи обусловлена тем, что важным фактором социального заказа в образовании является подготовка конкурентоспособного профессионала на рынке труда, что обусловливает новые требования к подготовке современного педагога в области физической культуры и спорта. Многие авторы в своих работах отмечают тот факт, что студенты нуждаются в дальнейшем изучении темы формирования готовности будущих учителей физической культуры к организации соревновательной деятельности обучающихся, организации и работе с ведущими специалистами в этой области в обосновании и поиске новых форм и методов коррекции положительных результатов подготовки будущих специалистов в области физической культуры. Данный факт обусловливает необходимость соответствующих изменений в подготовке будущих учителей физической культуры в системе высшего образования. Это нашло отражение в содержании нового Федерального государственного образовательного стандарта высшего образования от 09.02.2016 г. по направлению подготовки 44.03.05 Педагогическое образование, основной профессиональной образовательной программе Цель статьи заключается в теоретическом описании модели формирования готовности будущих учителей физической культуры к организации соревновательной деятельности обучающихся и обосновании педагогических условий ее реализации. В статье рассмотрены результаты проведенного исследования за период с 2019 по 2020 учебный год со студентами очной формы обучения ФГБОУ ВО «Марийский государственный университет», факультет физической культуры, спорта и туризма в количестве 50 человек по разработке и внедрению в образовательный процесс высшего учебного заведения модели формирования готовности будущих учителей физической культуры к организации соревновательной деятельности обучающихся, а также выявлены и теоретически обоснованы педагогические условия ее реализации. Статья предназначена для работников общеобразовательных учреждений. The relevance of the article is due to the fact that an important factor of social order in education is the training of a competitive professional in the labor market, which determines new requirements for the training of a modern teacher in the field of physical culture and sports. Many authors in their works note the fact that students need to further study the topic of the formation of the readiness of future physical culture teachers to organize the competitive activity of students, organize and work with leading experts in this field in substantiating and searching for new forms and methods of correcting the positive results of training future specialists in the field of physical culture. This fact determines the need for appropriate changes in the training of future physical culture teachers in the higher education system. This is reflected in the content of the new Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education dated 02.09.2016 in the direction of training 03.44.05 Pedagogical education, the main professional educational program. substantiation of the pedagogical conditions for its implementation. The article discusses the results of the study for the period from 2019 to 2020 academic year with full-time students of "Mari State University", Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism in the amount of 50 people on the development and implementation of a model of formation in the educational process of a higher educational institution the readiness of future physical culture teachers to organize the competitive activity of students, as well as revealed and theoretically substantiated pedagogical conditions for its implementation. In Hong Kong, social distancing has been adopted in order to minimise the spread of COVID-19. This study aims to examine the changes in physical health, mental health, and social well-being experienced by local residents who were homebound during the pandemic. An online questionnaire in both Chinese and English versions was completed by 590 eligible participants from 24 April to 13 May 2020. The questionnaire found that individuals aged 18 to 25 years spent more time resting and relaxing but experienced more physical strain. Working status was associated with social contact, with participants working full-time jobs scoring higher in “maintaining social communication via electronic means” and “avoiding social activities outside the home”. Additionally, approximately one third of the participants (29.7%) had moderate to severe depression, and participants aged 18 to 25 were found to have higher scores in PHQ-9. Changes in physical health and social contact were significantly associated with developing depressive symptoms. From the results, it is clear that the COVID-19 pandemic has the potential to exert a negative impact on the mental health status of individuals.

The Impact

Computer systems and technologies are changing our society significantly. These changes are interconnected with both social and production spheres. Innovative digital technologies have a huge impact on the labor market and professional activity, contributing to their transfer to the electronic environment. Using digital technologies, modern people set new goals and solve problems with an increasing speed of problem solving, capitalizing on the possibilities of collaborative distributed actions within networks. In this regard, new competencies of specialists are in demand. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to establish the impact of the fourth industrial revolution on the education system and the development of skills and thinking for learning. Methods: When conducting scientific research, economic and statistical methods were used. These methods were also used in comparative analysis, as well as in assessing data and indicators of the higher education system, taking into account the impact of the fourth industrial revolution. The analytical method was used to consider the characteristics and factors influencing the development of skills and thinking for learning in modern conditions. The abstract-logical method is used to identify problems affecting the development of the labor market under the influence of digital technologies. Results and their value: The result of the study is that conclusions are drawn about the upcoming changes. Automation and digitalization are likely to lead to significant unemployment in most countries, so adaptation innovation policies are needed to help offset unemployment due to digitalization. Governments need to invest heavily in higher education as an economic development tool for their citizens. Lifelong learning should be identified as a critical element of success in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. Curricula should develop digital skills and address workforce disruptions due to automation.

Resumo: A inserção de recursos tecnológicos em sala de aula traz novas possibilidades e desafios para a prática pedagógica. No entanto é preciso que haja um planejamento que contemple as peculiaridades destas novas ferramentas, permitindo que professores e alunos possam usufruir de suas vantagens. Dessa forma, este trabalho se propõe a apresentar intervenções baseadas na Aprendizagem Baseada em Projetos (ABP) realizadas em uma escola municipal de Fortaleza, bem como analisar as contribuições das tecnologias digitais neste tipo de metodologia. Para isso são detalhados os projetos “Um Mundo de Informações” e “Pensar, Conectar e Fazer” aplicados, respectivamente, em turmas de 5° e 6° anos do Ensino Fundamental. Além disso, é realizada uma avaliação das ferramentas digitais utilizadas nestas atividades. Concluiu-se que a utilização destas ferramentas influenciou de maneira positiva na aplicação dos projetos, além de permitir a integração do conhecimento em nível interdisciplinar e na criação de produtos educacionais.Palavras-chave: Aprendizagem baseada em projetos. Interdisciplinaridade.  PROJECT-BASED LEARNING: CONTRIBUTIONS OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES Abstract: The insertion of technological resources in the classroom brings new possibilities and challenges to a pedagogical practice. However, there is a need for planning that addresses the new tools, allowing teachers and participants to take advantage of them. Thus, this work is projected in Project-Based Learning (ABP) in a municipal school in Fortaleza, as well as data from digital technologies in this type of methodology. To this end, the "Um Mundo de Informações" and "Pensar, Conectar e Fazer" projects, carried out, respectively, in the 5th and 6th grades of Elementary School are detailed. In addition, it is performed an evaluation of the digital tools used in these activities. It was concluded that the use of the tools influenced in a positive way in the application of the projects, besides allowing an integration of knowledge at an interdisciplinary level and in the generation of educational products.Keywords: Project-based learning. RESUMO: O presente artigo visa utilizar conceitos de diversas áreas, proporcionando uma perspectiva multicausal e dialógica sobre os processos nosológicos de dependência de tecnologias digitais e as influências dos mecanismos motivacionais e emocionais sobre a aprendizagem de comportamentos compulsivos. A metodologia aplicada ao estudo é de caráter qualitativo e quantitativo, pois abrange tanto os fatores conceituais obtidos através de revisão bibliográfica como o desenvolvimento de resultados estatísticos através das análises dos resultados dos questionários aplicados no estudo em questão. Este breve constructo teórico busca evidenciar comportamentos patológicos na utilização das tecnologias digitais, principalmente dos usuários de internet e redes sociais digitais, utilizando os parâmetros da neuropsicologia, psicologia, psiquiatria e descrições presentes no DSM V, Manual Diagnóstico e Estatístico de Transtornos Mentais, e o CID 10, Compêndio Internacional de Doenças.PALAVRAS-CHAVE: dependência; tecnologias digitais; motivação; emoção; neuropsicologia; psicologia; psiquiatria.ABSTRACT: This research apply concepts from different areas, aiming to provide a multicausal and dialogical perspective on the nosologic process of dependence upon digital technologies and the influences of motivational and emotional mechanisms on learning compulsive behaviors. The data is approached both qualitatively and quantitatively, since its analysis covers the conceptual factors obtained from literature review and the development of statistical results obtained from the questionnaires applied. This brief theoretical research pursues to reveal pathological behaviors in the use of digital technologies, especially in the actions of internet users in online social networks. Subject. The main goal of the medical dental education is to prepare a responsible and qualified professional ready for self-determination and self-realization. Training of dental students in Medical University provides professional competencies in various medical specialties. Today, however, the social requirement is the realization of professional competencies of dentists in periodontology which is inseparable from regular professional oral hygiene. This study covers analysis and investigation of capability and preparedness of dental students to realize personal preventive, diagnostic and curing competencies at therapeutic consultations. Objective — to assess the quality of professional oral hygiene performed by the fifth-year students during practice (course “Periodontology”) for patients with chronic simple marginal gingivitis and mild periodontitis. Methodology. The students examined and treated 50 patients with chronic generalized simple marginal gingivitis (30 patients) and mild periodontitis (20 patients) in the age of 18—38, apparently healthy, both sexes. The patients were divided into 2 groups. All patients were subjected to professional oral hygiene — in the first group by the piezoelectric ultrasound device, in the second group by the combined method, both with hand tools and the piezoelectric ultrasound device [16]. The check inspection was made in a week. The results were measured by statistical methods. Results. Education of professional oral hygiene is carried out by the Department of Preventive Dentistry and Propedeutics of Dental Disease and is the basic component of professional course of disciplines. At practical training of the full-time course of the Faculty of Dentistry students learn medical procedures, solve real-life diagnostic and medical tasks. Conclusions. During study at the Ural State Medical University, the Clinical Department ensures professional socialization and personal development of dental students; it builds their necessary knowledge, skills, experience and qualities, as well as professional competencies and commitment to provide these services self-reliantly.
