Research background: The subsistence minimum category is used in the Slovak Republic in determining several wage and tax categories. In this paper I analyze whether the set standard of living is sufficient with regard to the development of the average wage since 1993 to the present day. Subsequently, the quantities that are based on the subsistence level - non-taxable amounts of the taxpayers’ tax base are also analyzed. The results of the analysis show that the distance between the subsistence level and the level of non-taxable parts has gradually increased. The topic of payrolls and related wage variables is a complex and ever-changing topic. Not many authors in Slovakia pay attention to it, and due to constant changes in the given area, the findings of publications and papers is also limited. Purpose of the article: This paper deals with general theoretical, legal and historical starting points and links between non-taxable parts and the subsistence minimum. The paper presents a cross-section of the history of the application of non-taxable parts in the Slovak Republic. Methods: The method used in the paper is that of hypotheses determination and testing. Findings & Value added: This paper also analyzes the state of national regulation and development trends in the area. In addition to constructive criticism, the article also contains suggestions for improving the current situation.

This chapter reflects on Hans Blumenberg's “The Relationship between Nature and Technology as a Philosophical Problem” (1951), a reception history of technē. Technology has historically constituted itself as applied natural science — as a constructive extension of nature — and this structural continuity would seem to determine the character and methodology of its problems once and for all. The historical reality of human life with technology has failed to confirm this basic assumption, however. Technology, as an objective domain within the modern world, has more and more visibly separated itself from its functional continuity with nature and has entered into new constellations that are sui generis and, indeed, diametrical opposites to natural reality. From the mere use of nature for eking out a living through to the increasing exploitation of nature as a reservoir of energy and natural resources, the development of technical consciousness and the technical will tend toward making a claim for the radical and total transformation of nature as mere materia prima for the exercise of human power.

Research background: When we start looking for tools that could give a trader a certain trading advantage, we will certainly come across the problem of analysing the trading volume. This is an advanced type of analysis where the primary price chart of the underlying asset is not analysed, but traders focus on the volume of trades that have been executed at certain price levels. Although it may seem like an innovative method, this type of analysis has been used for several decades. In our article, we elaborated the theoretical basis of the analysis of trading volume as a tool for predicting the movement of prices of financial instruments. Purpose of the article: The aim of our article is to explore the possibilities, methods and procedures of analysis of trading volumes and the possibilities of their use in maximizing earnings from trading of financial instruments. Methods: We used formal methods such as analysis and synthesis of theoretical findings and others. Findings & Value added: Based on the study of the analysis and synthesis of theoretical data, we identified and described the possibilities of using the analysis of trading volume in the process of predicting the price movements of financial instruments. We consider the aim of the article to be fulfilled and we believe that it will be a valuable contribution in the field of research on this issue.

This article discusses the problem of forming meta-subject competence of students on the basis of intersubject communications. The concept of meta-subject matter is not uniquely defined and reflects the different views of researchers. Despite the long history of the concept, there is still no single interpretation of it, different scientific schools interpret it differently. The meta-subject approach in the modern sense complements and extends traditional educational technologies, allowing the student to look at the subject content with a non-trivial look, consciously exploring and developing methods of their own thinking through certain thought-generating procedures (goal-setting, search, analysis and synthesis of various types of information and its evaluation). The meta-subject content of education assumes other activities that are different from the traditional ones, which allow the formation of meta-subject competencies necessary for successful personal growth, which can be represented as metacognition, meta-knowledge and possession of meta-skills. Meta-subject activity - activity outside the subject; It is aimed at teaching generalized methods of working with any subject concept, scheme, model, etc. and related to life situations. Interdisciplinary communication is the most important means of achieving meta subject results. The meta-subject approach ensures the comprehensive development of the personality, the formation of a holistic worldview, the synthesis of knowledge learned by students in various subjects, their comprehensive application in practice, in work and human life.

The given problem belongs to the areas of history of psychology and psychology of personality, but provides outcomes in subject matter of many other psychological sciences, in clinical psychology in particular. Importance of correlation between personological conceptualizations of scientists-metaphysicists and clinical practice in the process of their skilled verification is pointed out. The reconstruction and analysis of views at psychopathology and psychotherapy by representatives of metaphysical tradition in domestic psychology of personality have been made. According to the mentioned views, the essence of pathology of personality is in its evasion from the purpose, from original life for the sake of not original, ontologically unjustified forms of ability to live.
