Tourism object is one of the important sectors for the country because it contributes quite a lot of foreign exchange. Tourism objects require management in periodic and sustainable development. The development of regional things cannot be separated from the participation of the community and the government. This study aims to analyze community participation in the development of Srambang Park tourism objects, including community participation in the participation stages, supporting and inhibiting factors of development, motivation to participate, and developing the impact of tourism objects on economic, social environmental aspects. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted on 20-25 May 2021 with seven informants. The research location is in Srambang Park, Girimulyo Village, Paron District, Ngawi Regency. The results of the study indicate that community participation is very active in the development of tourism objects. This activity can be reflected in the community's involvement in the tourist attraction by becoming a motorcycle taxi driver, parking attendant, trader, and employee. Supporting factors include tourist attraction, marketing, infrastructure, and stakeholders. The inhibiting factor for the development of tourism objects is the existence of a pandemic that occurred in early 2020. The motivation of the community to participate in the development of tourism objects is because of the opportunities, desires, and needs. The impact arising from the existence of a tourist attraction is an average positive economic, social and environmental impact.

Research background: The coronavirus pandemic in 2020 had a significant impact on all aspects of life, from the point of view of the individual by forcing social isolation, moving work and study to the home, enormous pressure on the social and health system, but also by forcing closures of services and direct contact with customers. These, as well as other factors, have also had an impact on the performance of economies around the world. Purpose of the article: The paper aims to evaluate the development of the world's major economies in terms of macroeconomic indicators and foreign trade in the pandemic period and previous periods. The social and environmental aspects of the impact of the pandemic on selected economies are also reflected. Methods: Analysis of the main macroeconomic data, comparison and synthesis of findings. Findings & Value added: The interdependence of economies and interconnectedness of markets on transport routes associated with reduced mobility, forced isolation of people and death of economic activity had a significant impact on all the observed indicators, where a significant decline in GDP could be observed in all countries except China. This country was the only one that managed to keep GDP growth in positive numbers. Unemployment development was not equal in the observed economies due to different labour market environment. On the contrary, the environment has benefited in some way.

Nowadays in order to achieve sustainable development, organizations are required to take on their social and environmental responsibility and give information about the impact of their activities in the environment.
This information is usually presented through sustainability reports, which widely differ in content and layout. Many organizations worldwide have assumed their responsibility by implementing Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and United Nations Global Compact (GC) guidelines.
We consider that the information regarding socio-environmental responsibility, should meet the characteristics of the good accounting information, and be based on the accounting principles in order to increase its utility.
To know it, we carried out an empirical research in order to determinate the general characteristics of the reports made under both GRI and GC guidance. We concluded that in most cases the information as presented in the analyzed reports does not meet the minimum requirements of good accounting information.
Consequently, we decided to make a proposal and show the analyzed indicators in the Social Environmental Report developed according to the FCE-UNLP model (Fernández Lorenzo and Geba, 2008), which we consider as a true accounting statement.

Personal and physical injuries are two of the most relevant costs to hospitals. Hospital laundries are sources of these costs due to the physical and health risks present in the clothes and the activities performed. Energy and environmental risk and infrastructure issues also incur operational costs to these organizations and to the health system. This research analyzes the social, environmental, and economic risk in the hospital laundry process, through a multiple-case-study design. Data collection methods include interviews regarding three hospital laundry services in Brazil. The processes of these laundry services have a high consumption of resources (water and energy) and a substantial generation of solid and liquid wastes. Cost reduction actions include pooled laundry services and material substitution. There are also social and environmental risks, the most frequent being ergonomic, biological, and chemical hazards, and injures from sharp devices inadequately disposed. Hospital laundries need more sustainable operations, not only in the infrastructure, but also mostly in the awareness of leaders and teams about the importance of their engagements to resource management and waste reduction in laundry. It is opportune to convince professionals and users about changing habits that do not prioritize sustainability, especially its social and environmental aspects.

ENERGY INDICATORS FOR THE INDUSTRY SECTOR: A PRELIMINARY CONTRIBUTION TO THE DISCUSSION OF SOCIO-ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS IN PARÁ ABSTRACT The purpose of this article is to present a preliminary contribution to the discussion of the main socio-environmental aspects to be considered in the construction of energy sustainability indicators. The importance of the study lies in the possibility of raising subsidies for decision-making in the public environment of the energy sector. The methodology comprises theoretical nature and carries out a visit to the specialized literature, aiming at creating conditions for examining the social and environmental intricacies for the composition of energy sustainability indicators. The social and environmental aspects, based on relevant electricity and development variables, were measured by Borges (2007), using the Pearson correlation coefficient. The study concluded that the elaboration of energy sustainability indicators for the industrial sector in Pará suggests the observance of the energy consumption profile of the industries, which presented proportional evolution when associated with polluting gases emission, and attention to the impact on employment, which does not suggest being associated with the electricity investment behavior in the analyzed sector. Keywords: Industry. Socioenvironmental. Electricity.

As an emerging first-tier world power, China is exerting an important influence on countries in the Asia-Pacific region, especially Taiwan, with which it has a long history of often contentious relations. This study investigates the impact of “intergenerational value change” on impressions of China in 2017 among three political birth cohorts of Taiwanese. Based on a representative survey of Taiwanese citizens, the study finds that cohort impressions can be classified according to the extent to which they relate to the economic–political and the social–environmental dimensions, suggesting that Taiwanese perceptions of China are not unidimensional and are more nuanced than they first appear. The data by and large confirm the validity of cohort differences; members of the first and oldest cohort hold more positive impressions of China with respect to social and environmental issues than members of the second and middle cohort, while the third and youngest cohort would regard China in a more positive light if their economic and political concerns were addressed. A few variables remain statistically significant, including party identification and unification versus independence preference, even after controlling for aging effects.

Sustainability has become an important issue worldwide because of great concerns about the unintended social, environmental, and economic effects of increasing population and economic growth, as well as consumption of natural resources. One recent concept arising from sustainability issue is sustainable entrepreneurship which integrates both the social and environmental aspects, and linking them with entrepreneurial activities. This chapter therefore suggests that efforts of developing countries at promoting entrepreneurship should go beyond engaging in business enterprises but include encouraging the use of entrepreneurial values and approaches to solve sustainability problems. Hence, this chapter is an effort at developing a framework that can be used to influence sustainable entrepreneurship behaviour of the students in developing countries.

Thermal insulation of buildings brings the social benefits mainly through energy savings. However, the risk of producing undesirable negative impacts on the environment and the health of the population is not negligible. Proper selection of the appropriate variant and product should include an assessment not only of the thermal, technical, operational, economic but also health and environmental aspects. In assessing the environmental and health impacts, only CO and sulfur emissions are often evaluated. The impact of other very dangerous chemicals released during the production of ETICS components and subsequently during the operation of the building is investigated only marginally. This aspect will be given the utmost attention and individual variants will be carefully examined also in this point of view. The public does not usually have enough quality data on the various available ETICS variants. The chosen method of thermal insulation should also be felt by the user in a positive way, which will contribute to the comfort and high standard of living.
