Abstract Many ways of information about the downhole pressures of existing wells collecting have long been outdated. With the improvement of processing techniques, the need to modernize the ways of information about oil and gas fields obtaining becomes more obvious. Many oil and gas industries are developing in this direction. The article discusses an innovative technology for downhole characteristics monitoring, which is called multi-well deconvolution. It is based on the creation of a system of equations that includes the relationship between the downhole pressure and the flow rate graph. This technique has been widely used among foreign research groups, but it was not until recently that it started to be applied in the Russian Federation. The first oil and gas companies to be interested in the multi-well deconvolution technology were Gazpromneft and Rosneft, which managed to conduct some studies using thу technology and confirmed its profitability. This technology makes it possible to assess the well operation mode and predict its further operation, which in turn makes it possible to optimize the development and operation modes.

Casing wear is one of the key issues in the development of oil and gas fields and in the process of drilling operations. In this study, the relationship between hardness and wear resistance of drill collar and casing was studied; thereby the wear conditions between the two materials were improved. Chemical analysis, optical microscopy, hardness test and friction wear test were conducted to study the effects of heat treatment on hardness of the drill collar 4145H and the casing 30Mn5V, and discuss the relationship between hardness and wear resistance of them. The results showed that the materials of drill collar and casing after different heat treatment had varying degrees of wear, both of the respective wear amounts were gradually increasing with the increase of hardness of them, the wear extent of casing material was greater than that of drill collar material. The hardness of casing material was the lowest and its wear resistance was the best when quenching at 880°C and tempering at 630°C. And when quenching at 900°C and tempering at 690°C, the hardness of drill collar material was the lowest and its wear resistance was the best. Therefore, the hardness of drill collar and casing can be improved by changing the heat treatment process to improve the wear resistance, thereby reducing the wear conditions between them.

Sustainable development of the Arctic is the main priority of the state policy regarding regional development of the Russian Federation. The study of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation for the formation of principles, methods and strategies, as well as organizational and economic mechanisms for its sustainable development is topical at present. This article deals with one of the strategic decision-making tools used in the process of implementing the development program for the Russian Arctic, namely, the assessment of the technical and economic potential of the Arctic fields. The purpose of this assessment is to rank the fields according to the priority of their commissioning for a more optimal distribution of costs in the development of Arctic resources. This paper presents the results and methodology of technical and economic potential estimation in general, and the potential of the Arctic oil and gas fields in particular. An analysis of the conceptual apparatus in the field of the evaluation of various types of potential is carried out. The methodology for assessing the technical and economic potential of a field are investigated. The problems arising in the process of such an assessment are revealed. Recommendations for improving the methodology of assessing the technical and economic potential of oil and gas fields in the Arctic are given. The necessity of expanding the list of indicators for assessing the technical and economic potential of these fields, taking into account current trends, has been noted. A list of 10 technical and 26 economic indicators to assess the technical and economic potential of the development of offshore Arctic fields is proposed.

The new typology of marine facilities deals with the problem of offshore oil and gas fields’ infrastructure usage after their elimination. The influence of climate on offshore structures and the authorities’ requirements in the matter of natural environment protection create huge costs for oil and gas companies, if the abandoned platform will be at sea. The concept of oil platform reconstruction with the change of functionhas allowedto create theoretical model of offshore structure and to identify the most relevant functions for the reconstructed objects. It has led to the following basic groups of architectural typology.

The article discusses the features of the tax on additional income from the extraction of hydrocarbon raw materials (VAT) introduced since 2019, which takes into account the potential for tax exemptions in connection with the profitability of a particular subsoil block and the established rate. The introduction of a new tax in the future will ensure an increase in tax revenues in the budget system of the Russian Federation. NPD, taking into account the individual characteristics of deposits and external macroeconomic changes, is intended to become a universal mechanism for extracting economic rents in oil and gas fields.

The modern policy of the Russian Federation on subsoil use on the Arctic shelf, as well as the need in the coming years to begin exploration and further operation of identified oil and gas fields in accordance with the offshore projects of the South, Arctic and Far Eastern Seas, using domestic equipment, based on universal underwater vehicles (PA) only confirms this. To develop a strategy for the creation of multifunctional equipment, it is necessary to monitor the accuracy characteristics of sensors and measurement methods in the hydrosphere. Based on the results of the studies, it is possible to conclude those preferences that will ensure the greatest effectiveness of measurements in the aquatic environment for the development of the Arctic shelf. The article considers the existing methodology of measurements at the working depths of the world’s oceans and analyses the specified efficiency of sensors, the principle of operation of which covers the use of technologies for creating and functioning in various physical fields.

The generalized statement of theoretical principles of information support of R&D on forecasting and development of oil and gas fields of various geological and genetic types corresponding to modern challenges of objective factors of growth of technical complexity and geological prospecting, exploration and operational works cost is presented. The main working tool is a targeted multi-scale information modeling of promising geological objects, based on the general theoretical scheme of forecast-paleoreconstructive retrospective-static model with the introduction of the concept of formation-material system of oil and gas accumulation, which includes three cognitive-functional components: initial source, transportation and objects of hydrocarbons localization. This methodological apparatus provides solutions to the main forecasting and diagnostic tasks: development of localization criteria, forecasting of traps and assessment of the potential of their hydrocarbons realization. The proposed apparatus is multi-scale, i.e. one that provides forecasting at the zonal (group of deposits), local (deposits) and sublocal (productive beds) levels. Prospects for further development of the direction are to develop a modern holistic theory of geoinformatic modeling and its subject methodological and methodological section – frame organization of the geological environment of oil and gas specialization in order to innovatively increase the efficiency of hydrocarbon field development. The examples of updated target information modeling of promising geological objects, basing upon methodological approach of infogeology with introducing of geological environment frame organization principles are demonstrated. As an object of modeling the regional formational complex of Tournaisian-Visean oil-gas horizon of the Dniprovsko-Donetska depression is considered. The solution of tasks, connected with this problem, comprises: the revision of initial data for innovative presenting of geoinformation modeling; defining of selected geological objects frame organization (structure); development of different scale promising geological objects frames and their transformation into geoinformatic format; preparing of recommendations for promising geological objects of different scales (zonal, local, sublocal) basing upon pertinent geoinformatic models. The expected result of this methodology introducing is to obtain innovative technology of information supervision for R&D aimed at efficient development of oil and gas fields.

With the highest product performance, quality and reliability requirements, oil casing is the most demanding service conditions in the oil and gas fields. However, when solving with thin-walled seamless steel pipes by the existing straightening theory, the cross section distortion phenomenon shall not be considered, and when the proportion of diameter to wall thickness increases, an ideal straightening effect can't be obtained. With the elastic-plastic bending straightening theory, this paper analyzes straightening process of thin-walled seamless steel pipes, studies the relationship of the flattening rate, deflection and straightening force in thin-walled pipes straightening, deduces the best reduction calculation method in the practical six roller skew rolling straightening machine, and in the meantime, results of several steel pipes flattening rate are compared.
