Abstract The article presents the results of field research in 2019–2020 of plant communities of the abrasive coast of the Taman Peninsula. The biomorphological structure of populations is dominated by annual species, which indicates a high dynamism associated with exogenous processes. Ecologically, the dominant species are xerophytes and xeromesophytes, as well as species with a wide eco-amplitude. The process of unification of the studied flora is low and amounted to 17 %. The generalized floristic list includes 231 plant species from 48 families. In the study area, 7 species of Red Book plants were found, of which 2 species were included in the Red Book of the Russian Federation.

The Mogutova Mountain - domal erosive ostanets in the north of the Zhigulyovsk hill, lies in national park Samara Luka. Communities petrophytic steppes are formed on calcareous exposures of steep slopes of the western, southern and east expositions of the mountain Mogutova. Petrophytic-steppe communities on a slope of east exposition are described - petrophytic-forbs-feather grass steppe ( Stipa capillata + Stipa pennata + Herbae stepposae ), on a slope of west exposition - petrophytic-sunrose-feather grass steppe ( Stipa pennata + Helianthemum nummularium ), on a slope of south exposition - petrophytic-thyme-sedge-feather grass steppe ( Stipa pulcherrima + Carex pediformis + Thymus zheguliensis ). In the studied communities three narrow-local of endemic species of the Zhigulyovsk hill grows: Euphorbia zhiguliensis, Gypsophila juzepczukii, Thymus zheguliensis and three of subendemic species grows: Festuca wolgensis s.str. , Tanacetum sclerophyllum (endemics of Central Volga area), Koeleria sclerophylla (endemic of Central Volga area and South Ural); the relict element of flora is presented by three species: Alyssum lenense, Clausia aprica, Helianthemum nummularium . Five species are included in the Red book of the Russian Federation: Astragalus zingeri, Euphorbia zhiguliensis, Koeleria sclerophylla, Stipa pennata, Thymus zheguliensis ; sixteen species are included in the Red book of the Samara region: Adonanthe vernalis, Alyssum lenense, Astragalus zingeri, Clausia aprica, Cotoneaster laxiflorus, Euphorbia zhiguliensis, Festuca wolgensis, Gypsophila juzepczukii, Helianthemum nummularium, Koeleria sclerophylla, Onosma volgensis, Pulsatilla patens, Scabiosa isetensis, Stipa pennata, Tanacetum sclerophyllum, Thymus zheguliensis. The most widespread plants of petrophytic steppes of the Mogutova Mountain: Astragalus zingeri, Carex pediformis, Echinops ruthenicus, Galium hexanarium, Gypsophila juzepczukii, Helictotrichon desertorum, Jurinea ledebourii, Onosma volgensis, Psephellus carbonatus, Stipa pennata, Tanacetum sclerophyllum, Thesium ramosum, Thymus zheguliensis .

The article presents the review of currently existing views on the problem of phytocoenotic diversity protection in European countries and Russia. The principles and criteria for the identification of rare plant communities in need of protection, used by scientists from different countries are described. The authors had defined already published works of a monographic nature and projects, containing the information on the phytocenotic diversity of Europe in need of protection, and Green Books, published in the Russian Federation. Special attention is paid to the determination process of plant communities. It is noted that nowadays there is no single concept for the creation of Green Books. The phytocenosis protection inventories created in European countries that have a legislative basis, the Russian Green Books include vegetation monitoring data and have no legal basis.

Objective of research. The purpose of the study is to consider detection of Eimeria (Eimeria leuckarti) in horses in the Moscow region. Materials and methods. Samples of faeces were collected during the survey must reveal sport horses in ljuberetsky area of Moscow region before a scheduled deworming. Portion of samples was stored for months in a frozen state in the freezer. Faecal samples examined by flotation with saturated sodium chloride solution and sedimentation by the method of successive washings. To determine the viability of oocysts the feces were incubated in Petri dishes in the thermostat at 25 °C study of the incubated samples were determined after two weeks, one month and two months. Morphological studies of oocysts, morphometry and photographic documentation was performed using a microscope with a digital camera. Results and discussion. During routine coprological survey of sport horses in ljuberetsky area of Moscow region one 11-year-old horse in the samples of faeces were detected oocysts of coccidia Eimeria leuckarti. The intensity of invasion in koproskopicheskoe tests was low; the samples were found isolated instances of oocysts. This is the first time the detection of E. leuckarti on the territory of the Russian Federation. See the full list of countries that have so far been registered coccidia of the species.We trace the development of oocysts to sporulirovannyh stage in the laboratory. In a thermostat at 25 °C sporulation time exceeded one month. Brief description of the morphology of oocysts at different stages of development. Highlighted are unique among the coccidia peculiar structure of the shell oocysts E. leuckarti is the presence of the characteristic fossa on the inner surface of the shell opposite the micropyle pole. It is believed that it can serve as species specific taxonomic characteristic.

Nowadays, the forest policy in the field of forest management and husbandry in the Russian Federation is aimed at the possibility of wood realization, produced by different forest owners. The solution of this sharp problem in the Republic of Tatarstan is more associated with the launch of the plant in Elabuga for the production of resin-bonded chipboard, which served as a stimulus for action by the Ministry of Forestry, and it became necessary to make optimal computational wood-cutting area and placement volumes of storage for forest districts of Tatarstan. The article discusses: the structure of forest stands by groups of tree species and age groups of the Republic of Tatarstan as of 01.01.2016; the distribution of forest by age class; the allocation of forest areas of the the Republic of Tatarstan by dominant species in the period from 1940 to 2016.

The authors of this paper summarize the majority of published data on the distribution of agaricoid and boletoid fungi recorded in Russia, covering the period from 1824 through 2020. A comprehensive list of 6867 scientific names based on 954 publications was compiled for the first time for the whole territory of Russia. All records have been checked through Index Fungorum. The work consists of a review section and five appendices. The review section discusses the intensity of field research and accumulation of data on the distribution of agaricoid and boletoid fungi in Russia, both historically and in its current state. The authors discuss the current state of knowledge on the biodiversity of regions of Russia and point out blank spots, thus providing a reference and an “action plan” for the future. Appendix A presents a list of 6142 taxa unambiguously ascribed to 3246 accepted current names. Appendix B contains 727 names that cannot be ascribed to any accepted current names unequivocally, with reasons given (e.g., no current name, wrong authors’ citations, absence from Index Fungorum). Names from both checklists are supplemented with data on the distribution of these taxa within the Russian Federation and references to published records. Appendix C contains a list of accepted current names reported from only one region. Appendix D is an overview of the nearly 200 years of research of agaricoid and boletoid fungi for all regions of Russia. Appendix E is a list of references used for checklists and study history preparation.

Relevance. The COVID-19 pandemic is a new challenge facing humanity, which has already caused serious damage to the global economy. In particular, international cooperation has faced somewhat unprecedented challenges. In the post-pandemic era, it is extremely important to study the state of the dairy sector in China in order to find a way to develop cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation in this field. Research objective. To analyse the state of China’s dairy sector in the post-pandemic period, taking into account the trend of recovery, as well as to identify the priority areas and interaction directions in the dairy sector between China and the Russian Federation. Data and Methods. The research was conducted using the methods of comparative analysis, focusing mainly on quantitative and qualitative indicators. The conditions for the interaction of the dairy sector between China and the Russian Federation were analysed. Results. It is shown that, at present, the Chinese-Russian interaction in the dairy sector includes four aspects: trade in dairy products, experience exchange, investment cooperation and interaction at the governmental level. Trade in dairy products and the exchange of experience and technologies in the dairy sector are developing steadily, supported by increased interaction at the state level. Conclusions. The Chinese-Russian cooperation in the dairy sector is experiencing some difficulties; however, the common interest of both countries in dairy production and the strong support of both governments ensure excellent prospects for achieving mutual benefits and high performance.

The subjects of the Russian Federation located in the regions of the North, Siberia and the Far East are characterized by attention to the issues of preserving the traditional way of life of nomads-reindeer herders, hunters and fishermen. At the same time, it remains relevant to study the issues of organizing the education of children traveling with their parents in the tundra and taiga. The purpose and objectives of the study are related to the hypothesis of the transformation of educational activities and the creation of new models of education in the nomadic region. Within the framework of the study, the level of education of parents from among representatives of indigenous small numbered peoples engaged in reindeer husbandry, the possibility of expanding the family form of education and increasing the availability of all levels of education in remote form was monitored. The monitoring was attended by representatives of the Amur, Arkhangelsk, Magadan regions, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Khanty-Mansiysk, Yamalo-Nenets, Chukotka Autonomous district, Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets Municipal District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory of the Russian Federation. In addition, cases of pilot family nomadic preschool and school groups have been collected and analyzed. As a result, the need for providing affordable secondary general education, secondary professional pedagogical education in correspondence form, using distance technologies has been identified. Strategies for the further development of nomadic education are proposed. Based on the analysis of empirical material obtained during field research in 2019–2020 and interregional round tables on the topic of nomadic education (March, April 2021), prospect models for organizing the education of the nomadic population in the conditions of digitalization have been developed. The article will be useful for the organizers of indigenous peoples’ education in order to improve the system of nomadic education in Russia. The results of the work to create a complex of high-precision hardware for the unit of length reproduction and transferring carried out at “D. I. Mendeleyev Institute for Metrology (VNIIM)” are represented. This complex will serve as the basis for the further development of the reference base of the Russian Federation in the field of length measurements and will allow reproduction of the unit of length at two wavelengths of 633 nm and 532 nm, as well as measurements of the wavelength of laser sources in vacuum in the range from 500 to 1050 nm.
