This chapter examines the liability of internet intermediaries for breaches of confidence and invasions of privacy. The scope and content of these duties embody delicate compromises between, on the one hand, the rights to data protection and respect for private life and, on the other, the freedoms to express and receive information. The enforcement of that balance against service providers requires further choices about how far to extend responsibility for infringements of those rights by others, and who should be required to police them. The importance of these rights and policy choices continues to grow in light of recent technological and social changes.

Multiple processes in modern Serbia occurred at the end of the twentieth and the beginning of the twenty first century. Almost all of them regard political, economic, and social changes. Influences caused by these changes can be seen in the social template across the spectrum of plans, encompassing various spheres of life of individuals from business to private, all the way to the point where this division, for many, is gradually disappearing. In that sense, this paper will follow the most anthropologically interesting example of research, the one that follows the influences of the undertaken reform processes and observed changes. This is the example that regards the experience and evaluation of time among employed inhabitants of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The aim of this paper was to refer to the results of anthropological fieldwork conducted in 2005, which focused on the experiences, strategies and expectations of employed Belgraders in terms of their working hours and certain temporal boundaries that characterize it. Due to the increasingly intensive business contacts with foreign partners and colleagues since 2000, the working hours of employees were analyzed in a narrower context, as they were on the long list of adjustments, mostly to Western influences. These contacts were not only more frequent after the period of the 1990s, which, among other things, is characterized by a sudden break in cooperation with foreigners, but were often dictated by the EU integration process, the increase of the private sector in which operated companies were oriented towards profit, and the acceleration of time. The last aspect was examined in 2005 through a sample comprising 30 interlocutors of various business backgrounds. The ethnographic material was categorized and analyzed with regard to the differentiation of respondents by age. Fifteen respondents were chosen to represent the older generation (born in the 1940s and 1950s) and as many the younger generation (born in the 1960s and 1980s). The blurring of the boundaries between the employees’ business and private life in Belgrade became more marked at the turn of the century, and it could be clearly stated through the example of working time. Differences between the period of socialism and the period of reforms since the 1990s relate also to a sense of insecurity and fear of losing one's job or having inadequate work, and the simultaneous development of the private sector, which is characterized by stricter rules for employees. More intensive was the influence of business on the private domain of life, but also the intrusion of the private into business life. This has become a necessity and a pledge of individual functioning on both levels, which show combined characteristics of acceleration through the increase of obligations.

This chapter highlights Muslim service providers of many kinds and the organizations in which they work. Muslim service providers, in different ways from advocates and community leaders, not only are at the front lines of the struggle against domestic violence (DV) in Muslim communities but also most directly and persistently interact with the mainstream DV landscape/movement. Service providers are at risk themselves in more acute ways as their direct contact with victims and survivors can also become contact with perpetrators who are a threat not only to DV victims but also to anyone who supports those victims. The chapter then explores the significance of their religious convictions and identities for the work they perform and for the ways in which they relate to their clients on the one hand and to “the system” on the other. It also sketches the landscape of Muslim DV services and offers some insights into the specific challenges this work entails.

This chapter deals with European cross-border issues concerning groups of companies. This chapter, after outlining the difficulties encountered throughout the world in defining and regulating the group, focuses on the specific policy choices endorsed by the EIR, which clearly does not lay down any form of substantive consolidation. Instead, the EIR, on the one hand, seems to permit the ‘one group—one COMI’ rule, even to a limited extent, and, on the other hand, provides for two different regulatory devices of procedural consolidation, one based on the duties of ‘cooperation and communication’ and the other on a system of ‘coordination’ to be set up between the many proceedings affecting companies belonging to the same group.

From a close analysis of African activities and actions in the Kenyan town of Nakuru from the 19205 to the 1960s, it is argued that living in towns tended to consolidate the identities of tribal groups and to exacerbate their differences. Contrasts between the urban responses of the Kikuyu, on the one hand, and the Western Kenyan tribes, the Luo and the Abaluhya, on the other, are analysed, and are related to differences in the tribal structures and in the political, economic and social changes that were taking place in their rural areas. By the early 1960s, the stage was set for open political competition between tribal groups.

Nowadays, Software Defined Network (SDN) develops rapidly for its novel structure which separates the control plane and the data plane of network devices. Many researchers devoted themselves to the study of such a special network. However, some limitations restrict the development of SDN. On the one hand, the single controller in the conventional model bears all threats, and the corruption of it will result in network paralysis. On the other hand, the data will be increasing more in SDN switches in the data plane, while the storage space of these switches is limited. In order to solve the mentioned issues, we propose two corresponding protocols in this paper. Specifically, one is an anonymous protocol in the control plane, and the other is a verifiable outsourcing protocol in the data plane. The evaluation indicates that our protocol is correct, secure, and efficient.

In Hungary the operating medium of game management and the guided hunting sector is undergoing such a radical change nowadays that on the one hand it considerably influences the profit-producing ability of the sector, and on the other hand it sets the actors of the industry new challenges and opportunities. If the Hungarian hunting industry, which has a traditional past, also wishes to preserve its position in this changed business medium, it is essential that the new situation be thoroughly assessed, and the value-oriented marketing attitude be adapted. The phenomena presented in this essay discuss the consequences and causes of the appearance of new service providers regarding the supply side, and the content changes of the consumer group and the modification of earlier consumption preferences and their causes on the demand side. The changing of the two media jointly generate the adaptation of the value-oriented service - marketing concepts, by using which the areas to be developed and deemed as the narrow cross-section of consumer decisions can be determined. After specifying the target group specific marketing properties of the aove-mentioned – prestige – service, such services of high utility content can already be established successfully that can be positioned as a proper alternative for the new consumer group of higher value expectation. On the other hand, the employment and profitability indexes related to this sector may considerably be improved.

En este estudio se diagnosticó la situación actual de las actividades turísticas que se desarrollan por los prestadores de servicios turísticos de la región del Parque Nacional Pico de Orizaba (PNPO), Veracruz, mediante la determinación de las variables e indicadores para evaluar el cumplimiento del Plan de Manejo 2015.Las variables analizadas incluyen las actividades turísticas, infraestructura, servicios turísticos, visitantes, prestadores de servicios, vigilancia y seguridad, cobros de derecho para ingreso al PNPO y estrategias de conservación. Los resultados muestran que existe un cumplimiento en la mayoría de las variables y sus respectivos indicadores que se midieron. El incumplimiento se centra en los aspectos de control de acceso de los visitantes y el registro y capacitación de prestadores turísticos por una parte y por otra la realización de actividades que no se consideran de bajo impacto. Por lo anterior, el estudio muestra la necesidad de establecer recomendaciones para hacer más eficiente el desarrollo de las actividades turísticas bajo los lineamientos que integran el Plan de Manejo, así como la gestión y manejo de los programas relacionados con la protección y conservación del PNPO.Palabras clave: Parque Nacional Pico de Orizaba; Plan de manejo; diagnóstico; actividades turísticas; prestadores de servicios turísticos AbstractIn this study, the current situation of tourist activities developed by the tourism service providers of the region of the Pico de Orizaba National Park (PNPO), Veracruz, was analyzed by determining the variables and indicators to evaluate the compliance with the 2015 Management Plan of the (PNPO). The variables analyzed include tourism activi­ties, infrastructure, tourist services, tourist vi­sitors, and providers of tourism services, sur­veillance and security, charges for entry to the PNPO and conservation strategies. The results show that there is compliance in most of the variables and their respective indicators that were measured. The non-compliance is focu­sed on the aspects of access control of visitors and the registration and training of tourism providers on the one hand and on the other the performance of activities that are not considered low impact. Therefore, the study shows the need to establish recommendations to make more efficient the development of tou­rist activities under the guidelines included in the Management Plan, as well as the manage­ment of programs related to the protection and conservation of the PNPO. Keywords: Pico de Orizaba National Park; Management plan; diagnosis; tourist activities; Tourism service providers

The article is devoted to private life of soviet person on an example of museums exposition of Ivanovo – the Museum of first Soviet. The author takes note that, on the one hand, an everyday culture of soviet epoch is lost, but, on the other hand, this culture has a big popularity not only in the science sphere but also in the sphere of mass culture. It accents an actuality of its researching. The exposition representing in the museum of first soviet has unicity. A museum space dedicated to a historical event shows to visitors a contrast interior of manufacturer and his worker. It illustrates that revolution as a strong move in a social and cultural life of society was inevitable. Among mass of everyday culture of soviet epoch museums the Ivanovo museum offers visitors not only demonstration of periods of soviet culture development but also representative reflection of soviet way of life and person evolution. From a person of bedsit, which even his room doesn`t become private space and full of ideological mottoes, to the person with individual set of interests, tastes and desires. This new type of person tries to bring to life his interests, tastes and desires into his new flat interior making it cozier, positive representing social changes. The museum space has synthetism as far as it repels not only historical context and social changes but also way of life details. The author puts museum exposition as an attempt of presenting macro history by way of micro history of private life of soviet person.

During the pandemic, global life has been adversely affected. These negativities have been observed in different dimensions, especially in health, economy, and education. The pandemic has also deeply affected many industries such as tourism. With the pandemic, damages have increased gradually in terms of both supply and demand. In this process, the view of the local people, one of the most important stakeholders of the tourism, towards tourism and tourists is very important. As a matter of fact, while there are health problems and social distance obligations that dominate the whole world on the one hand, economic concerns are dominant on the other hand. In this dilemma, the question that arises is whether COVID-`9 is a new barrier to local community interaction. In this study, based on this question, pandemic-induced social changes are evaluated in the context of local people tourism and tourist.
