The paper deals with the relationship of students to the future, a relationship between time perspective and achievement motivation and the paper also implies a close connection of this issue with individual’s volition. The article focuses on the presentation of a research on how students relate to the future which was conducted in the years 2011-2014 (defended in 2014 as a doctoral thesis). On the theoretical level we deal with scientific basis of the time dimension in the human life, with a relation between time perspective and achievement motivation and the connection of these concepts to the theoretical approach to the topic of volition. The main emphasis is on cognitive-motivational and self-motivational concepts of time perspective (works of Gjesme, Nuttin, Lens, Zimbardo, from the Czech authors namely concept of perspective orientation by Pavelková) and on classical works on achievement motivation by Atkinson, Raynor and Heckhausen. Within the analysis of these theoretical concepts, we focused predominantly on the identification of overlaps, narrow ties and connections in described systems. In the field of volition research, we were inspired by the concept of self-control and self-regulatory aspects of volition by Kuhl and Fuhrmann. The main objective of the paper is to present a structured research of time perspective, achievement motivation and volition in students of primary and secondary schools. On the research we worked with data received from more than four hundred students of primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The key objective is to obtain a basic description of the students’ relationship to future through individual research areas, further to empirically examine the relation between time perspective and achievement motivation of students and also to compare different approaches to time perspective (the concept of perspective orientation by Pavelková and Zimbardo’s theory of time perspective). Finally, through created students’ case reports we present inter-individually different authenticity of student’s relating to future. In the research, which was carried out on three levels, we benefited from combination of quantitative and qualitative research. In the conclusion, we suggest possible ways of further work with the findings within the career counselling at schools and which areas of career counselling we consider to be essential for improvement of self-regulatory skills of students.

For a person to realize their self-improvement, they need to develop their self-affirmation and social communication the function of which consists in the aspiration of a person to recognition, self-realization, and achievement of role and personality certainty. Due to the importance of this issue, the authors aimed to determine the relationship of self-affirmation strategies with the time perspective of the personality. The study of the profile of the students' time perspective was conducted. It was determined to be close to the optimal ones. Significant correlation was established between the indicators of self-repression strategy and the orientation towards the future. During the study, it was proved that orientation to the negative past is typical of the students with a strategy of self-suppression, constructive self-affirmation strategy coreelates with turning to the positive past. Students with a dominant type of self-affirmation are the most oriented to the future.

Objectively and reliably determined indicators of rheological properties of the dough were identified using the alveograph device to create a system of classifications of wheat and flour from it for the intended purpose in the future. The analysis of the relationship of standardized quality indicators, as well as newly developed indicators for identifying them, differentiating the quality of wheat flour for the intended purpose, i.e. for finished products. To do this, we use mathematical statistics methods.

The scientific problem of economics “Managing the quality of human life” is formulated on the basis of artificial intelligence, algebra of logic and logical-probabilistic calculus. Managing the quality of human life is represented by managing the processes of his treatment, training and decision making. Events in these processes and the corresponding logical variables relate to the behavior of a person, other persons and infrastructure. The processes of the quality of human life are modeled, analyzed and managed with the participation of the person himself. Scenarios and structural, logical and probabilistic models of managing the quality of human life are given. Special software for quality management is described. The relationship of human quality of life and the digital economy is examined. We consider the role of public opinion in the management of the “bottom” based on the synthesis of many studies on the management of the economics and the state. The bottom management is also feedback from the top management.

Terson's sign (TS) is classically defined as vitreous hemorrhage associated with subarachnoid hemorrhage of aneurysmal origin, being an important predictor of severity, indicating greater morbidity and mortality when compared to patients without the sign. The objective of this study is to review the relationship of Terson syndrome/Terson sign with the prognosis of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage. A search for original articles, research and case reports was performed on the PubMed, Scielo, Cochrane and ScienceDirect platform, with the following descriptors: Terson sign and subarachnoid hemorrhage. Retrospective, prospective articles and case reports published in the last 5 years and which were in accordance with the established objective and inclusion criteria were selected. Ten (10) articles were selected, in which the available results show an unfavorable prognostic relationship of TS and subarachnoid hemorrhage, because these patients had a worse clinical status assessed on the Glasgow scales ≤ 8, Hunt & Hess > III, Fisher > 3, in addition to intracranial hypertension and location of the aneurysm in the anterior communicating artery complex. The early recognition of this condition described by Albert Terson in 1900 brought an important contribution to neurosurgery, being recognized until nowadays.

The development of technology makes human life easier, including also in terms of transportation. Online-based transportation, although popular in the community but it does not mean without obstacles. One of the obstacles faced by an online motorcycle taxi is parking lot to wait for passengers. Drivers should look for crowded places where there is a lot of human mobility such as schools, campuses, shopping centers, traditional markets and other places where there is very little parking space, so often the drivers of online motorcycle taxi are waiting for passengers in groups and use places that are not supposed to stop or park. This study discusses the pattern of activities conducted by online motorcycle taxi drivers at the time of pick up, lowering and waiting for passenger orders. Research is done to know the pattern of activity based on time and mapping so easily understood. This study also discusses the relationship of online motorcycle taxis with the architectural side that is the effect of physical environment settings with the pattern of online motorcycle taxis activities. At the conclusion will be stated the main points of research conducted so as to explain the solid research that has been done.

‘Archive’ is a totality of records, layers and memories that are collected. A city is the archive that consists of the conscious selection of these layers and traces of the past and the present, looking towards the future. Metaxourgio is an area in the wider historic urban area of Keramikos in Athens that includes traces of various eras, beginning in the Antiquity and continuing all the way into the 21st century. Its archaeological space ‘Demosion Sema’ is mostly concealed under the ground level, waiting to be revealed. In this proposal, Metaxourgio is redesigned in light of archiving. Significant traces of the Antiquity, other ruins and buildings are studied, selected and incorporated in the new interventions. The area becomes the ‘open archive’ that leads towards its lost identity. The proposal aims not only to intensify the relationship of architecture with archaeology, but also to imbue the area’s identity with meanings that refer to the past, present and future.

The environment is closely related to nature and its creation. Problems faced by humans related to environmental conditions are things that have a big impact. The influence of the environment is very large on human life which makes the benchmark for good or bad human behavior. Because human life depends on the circumstances around him. Problems are often new things, but the things we often encounter in the environment are a variety of problems, such as the most common environment. According to Tung and Wihardjo (in Ramadhan et al, 2019), problems that occur in the environment caused by careless and intensive human activities in the area where he lives, this is done to improve the quality of life of each. Humans are more selfish without the environment when doing things that damage the environment. Whereas the consequences of their own actions will cause various impacts that are detrimental to themselves and others, such as floods that occur due to waste.

An extended approach to the comprehension of virtual reality is developed in the article. Virtual reality is understood not only as a logically possible or cybernetically constructed reality but also as continuous turbulence of potencies of the complex natural and social world we live in, the wandering of complex systems and organizations over a field of possibilities, such a realization of forms and structures in which many formations remain in latent, potential forms, and are in the permanent process of making and multiplying a spectrum of possibilities, lead to the growth of the evolutionary tree of paths of development. It is shown that such an understanding of virtual reality corresponds to concepts and notions developed in the modern science of complexity. The most significant concepts are considered, such as the nonlinearity of time, the relationship of space and time, the uncertainty of the past and the openness of the future, the choice and construction of the future at the moments of passing the bifurcation points. Some cultural and historical prototypes of these modern ideas of virtual reality are given. It is substantiated that the vision of virtual reality being developed today can play the role of a heuristic tool for understanding the functioning and stimulation of human creativity.
