With the economic growth and prosperity, ports and shipping play an increasingly important role in the national economy and international trade. Numerous studies related to the field of port and shipping were conducted to propose some managerial insights. This paper uses the bibliometric method to analyze the research papers published from 2000 to 2019 on port and shipping in the field of management science. The number of published papers, impact score and cite score are identified as evaluation criteria to analyze the research contributions of researchers, affiliated institutions and countries/regions in the port and shipping field. At the same time, the importance of each keyword can be obtained by the bibliometric method, which may help new researchers grasp research hotspots and trends in related fields.

Purpose: Entrepreneurship is considered as a major driver of economic growth of a country. So, to understand the process of entrepreneurship and the ecosystem in which entrepreneurship flourishes it has been observed that there is an increase in the studies on entrepreneurship and thus the rise in literature. This review paper reviews the literature available and study the trends of the concepts of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem (EE). Entrepreneurship is generally understood to occur at the local level and depends on the regional resources and supporting institutional policies for its operations.

Methodology: This paper uses the data drawn from Scopus indexed publications from 2000 to Dec.2020 and does bibliometric analysis which shows that the concept of EE has taken over other concepts like entrepreneurial environment or environment of entrepreneurship which meant to draw insights into the institutions, mechanism, culture and network which plays important role as a support system to the entrepreneur.

Findings: The paper specifies the pattern of authorship, which are the top journals, top authors and the keywords researched. This multidisciplinary review paper tries to address several specific topics in entrepreneurship and ecosystem like the development and evolution of ecosystems and research methodologies which could be used as a basis for further research. The study finds a raise in the number of scholarly articles in the field of EE, and entrepreneurship, across the world from the year 2010. The study also shows that many of the publications were authored jointly along with between different universities from different countries along with the highlights on trends of authorship, top most journals and most cited research papers.

Limitations: One of the constraints of the article is that it has considered the publications from Scopus indexed publications only.

Objectives We aimed to evaluate the global scientific output of gene research of myocardial infarction and explore their hotspots and frontiers from 2001 to 2015, using bibliometric methods. Methods Articles about the gene research of myocardial infarction between 2001 and 2015 were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC). We used the bibliometric method and Citespace V to analyze publication years, journals, countries, institutions, research areas, authors, research hotspots, and trends. We plotted the reference co-citation network, and we used key words to analyze the research hotspots and trends. Results We identified 1,853 publications on gene research of myocardial research from 2001 to 2015, and the annual publication number increased with time. Circulation published the highest number of articles. United States ranked highest in the countries with most publications, and the leading institute was Harvard University. Relevant publications were mainly in the field of Cardiovascular system cardiology. Keywords and references analysis indicated that gene expression, microRNA and young women were the research hotspots, whereas stem cell, chemokine, inflammation and cardiac repair were the frontiers. Conclusions We depicted gene research of myocardial infarction overall by bibliometric analysis. Mesenchymal stem cells Therapy, MSCs-derived microRNA and genetic modified MSCs are the latest research frontiers. Related studies may pioneer the future direction of this filed in next few years. Further studies are needed.

The article discusses topical issues of economic integration of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Individual indicators of the socio-economic development of the republic on the eve of joining the EAEU and in the subsequent period of Kazakhstan's presence in the integration association are analyzed, tables and diagrams are compiled, reflecting the dynamics of the development of the national economy. The main problems in the structure of the economy of Kazakhstan are highlighted and some mechanisms for their solution are proposed. It is concluded that the integration potential of Kazakhstan is not fully utilized, certain industries have not been developed in the context of international trade, and the development of cooperative ties with the EAEU countries requires the use of additional measures in the investment and industrial policy of Kazakhstan. At the same time, in the changing conditions of international trade, Kazakhstan has the opportunity to strengthen its position, and integration opportunities can become a driver of economic growth in the coming years despite criticism from skeptics.

We study the tax-spend nexus for Russian regional budgets. Causal relationship running from taxing to spending is found, thus supporting the concept “tax and spend” suggested by M. Friedman. Next, elasticity of expenditure by revenue is estimated for a panel of 80 regional budgets basing on data for 2000—2017. Estimates are in the range of 0.72 to 0.78 (depending on the econometric technique), which exceeds elasticity for the federal budget more than twice. This evidences that fiscal policy at the sub-federal (as distinct from the federal) level has clear pro-cyclical nature. Besides, the largest sensitivity of expenditure to revenue shocks is found for the item “national economy”, implying marked adverse implications for economic growth. We suggest to mitigate this effect by modifying fiscal rules for sub-federal budgets. They are currently aimed primarily at enhancing fiscal discipline, with less emphasis on countercyclical policy, insulating economy from fiscal shocks.

A warm welcome to our "World of Difference" to all delegates attending this conference - we hope your stay is enjoyable and that you will leave Central Otago with an enhanced appreciation of the diversity of land use and the resilient and growing economic potential that this region has to offer. Without regional wellbeing the national economy will struggle to grow, something Central Government finally seems to be realising, and the Central Otago District Council Long Term Plan 2012-2022 (LTP) signals the importance of establishing a productive economy for the local community which will aid in the economic growth of the district and seeks to create a thriving economy that will be attractive to business and residents alike. Two key principles that underpin the LTP are sustainability and affordability, with the definition of sustainability being "… development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."

This chapter demonstrates that the downwards pressure that state consolidation placed on mass violence was amplified by the type of state that emerged. Across East Asia, governments came to define themselves as “developmental” or “trading” states whose principal purpose was to grow the national economy and thereby improve the economic wellbeing of their citizens. Governments with different ideologies came to embrace economic growth and growing the prosperity of their populations as the principal function of the state and its core source of legitimacy. Despite some significant glitches along the way the adoption of the developmental trading state model has proven successful. Not only have East Asian governments succeeded in lifting hundreds of millions of people out of poverty, the practices and policy orientations dictated by this model helped shift governments and societies away from belligerent practices towards postures that prioritized peace and stability. This reinforced the trend towards greater peacefulness.
