Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors that seriously endangers women’s physical and mental health and even life-threatening. With the increasing incidence of breast malignant tumors year by year, people are increasingly concerned about the health of female breasts. However, due to the lack of primary prevention methods for breast cancer, the key to improving the cure rate of breast cancer and reducing mortality is early detection, early diagnosis, and early treatment. Hemodynamics embodies the characteristics and laws of the movement of blood and its components in the body. Clinically, monitoring of hemodynamic indicators is usually used to reveal the physiological or pathological changes of the body and understand the development process of the disease. The blood flow in the tumor tissue is high-speed and high-impedance. CDFI can show the distribution of blood flow in the mass. The highest peak velocity (PSV), resistance index (RI) and pulsatility index (PI) of systolic phase can be measured by sampling. This study use contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) combined with color energy Doppler flow imaging (CDFI) to explore the hemodynamic information of the main blood supply arteries and masses of the breast, analyze the abnormal hemodynamic information of tumors and surrounding tissues, and explore the blood in the breast, the clinical value of hydrodynamics in the qualitative diagnosis of breast masses.

Objective. To study the clinical diagnostic value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in bladder occupied lesions. Methods. 38 cases of conventional-ultrasound-found bladder occupied lesions did color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI) and CEUS checks. By comparing the difference between two types of blood flow imaging technologies in displaying the flow of bladder occupied lesions and observing the perfusion modes of contrast agents to enter lesions, the perfusion characteristics of CEUS were analyzed. Finally, they were contrasted with the surgical pathology results. Results. Of all the 38 cases, there were 51 bladder occupied lesions, including 43 bladder malignant tumors, 2 bladder inverted papillomas, and 6 glandular cystitis lesions. The blood flow display rate of bladder occupied lesions was 100% using CEUS. Apparently, it was higher than that of CDFI (62.7%), and the result of these showed a statistically significant difference ( P < 0.05 ). Using CEUS, 46 malignant lesions and 5 glandular cystitis lesions were indicated, and the diagnostic accuracy rate was 86.3%. Conclusion. CEUS can improve the blood flow display rate of bladder occupied lesions, and it can also observe the real-time blood flow of these lesions. It can help judge their nature and has a higher clinical value in differentiating the benign from the malignant.

Primary neuroendocrine breast tumors account for less than 0.1% of all breast cancers, hence, unique in nature. This paper aims to report a 56 years old female, known case of primary neuroendocrine breast cancer with a metastatic right colonic neuro-endocrine tumor. The article also aims to review and acclaim the literature regarding primary breast neuroendocrine tumors metastasized to other parts of the body. The patient presented complaining of a breast mass, ulceration, and discharge, which was rapidly progressing. Examination revealed a right breast mass with skin erythema and impending ulceration and right axillary lymph nodes fixed with palpable supra-clavicular lymph nodes. Ultrasound-guided biopsy of right breast mass and axilla disclosed a large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma. CT abdomen and chest revealed metastases to the ascending colon. The patient was treated with palliative radiotherapy along with multiple cycles of chemotherapy for the primary breast cancer. She also underwent a laparoscopic-assisted right hemicolectomy with complete mesocolic excision and primary anastomosis for the metastatic colon cancer. The paper compares the reported case to other similar cases using the framework of an analysis based on age of the patient, primary breast cancer location, method of detection, presence of neuroendocrine markers, primary cancer presentation, metastases symptoms, and location and treatment approach. In conclusion, metastasized primary neuroendocrine breast cancer is a very rare presentation. Incidence and prevalence maybe influenced by age, primary breast cancer location, and presence of neuroendocrine markers. Prognosis may also be a product of metastatic location, associated symptoms and treatment approaches.

Breast cancer is one of the most dangerous cancer diseases for women in worldwide. A Computeraided diagnosis system is very helpful for radiologist for diagnosing micro calcification patterns earlier and faster than typical screening techniques. Maximum breast cancer cells are eventually form a lump or mass called a tumor. Moreover, some tumors are cancerous and some are not cancerous. The cancerous tumors are called malignant and non-cancerous tumors are called benign. The benign tumors are not dangerous to health. But the unchecked malignant tumors have the ability to spread in other organs of the body. For that early detection of benign and malignant tumor is important for confining the death of breast cancer. In these research study different neural networks such as, Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) Neural Network, Jordan/Elman Neural Network, Modular Neural Network (MNN), Generalized Feed-Forward Neural Network (GFFNN), Self-Organizing Feature Map (SOFM) Neural Network, Support Vector Machine (SVM) Neural Network, Probabilistic Neural Network (PNN) and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) are used for classifying breast cancer tumor. And compare the results of these networks to find the best neural network for detecting breast cancer. The networks are tested on Wisconsin breast cancer (WBC) database. Finally, the comparing result showed that Probabilistic Neural Network shows the best detection result than other networks.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has invaded our daily lives, and in the last decade, there have been very promising applications of AI in the field of medicine, including medical imaging, in vitro diagnosis, intelligent rehabilitation, and prognosis. Breast cancer is one of the common malignant tumors in women and seriously threatens women’s physical and mental health. Early screening for breast cancer via mammography, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can significantly improve the prognosis of patients. AI has shown excellent performance in image recognition tasks and has been widely studied in breast cancer screening. This paper introduces the background of AI and its application in breast medical imaging (mammography, ultrasound and MRI), such as in the identification, segmentation and classification of lesions; breast density assessment; and breast cancer risk assessment. In addition, we also discuss the challenges and future perspectives of the application of AI in medical imaging of the breast.

Hemopump left intraventricular pumping (HP) can permit percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTCA) in high-risk patients. Benefits may be related to left ventricular unloading or myocardial perfusion improvement, or both. Direct ultrasonic measurements of coronary blood flow were made in the dilated vessel after a successful PTCA in five patients. A 3 Fr intracoronary Doppler catheter was placed in the coronary artery to measure flow velocities (maximal or diastolic velocity; minimum or systolic velocity and mean velocity). A SwanGanz catheter was used to measure the cardiac index and pulmonary capillary wedge pressure. Mean aortic pressures were monitored through an 8 Fr guiding catheter. Measurements were made after a 5-min period of minimal speed (TO) of the HP to avoid retrograde regurgitation through the turbine; during the increase from minimum to maximal speed (T1); after a 5-min period of maximal HP flow (3l/min) (T2) and after HP was pulled back (T3). From TO to T2, cardiac index rose from 1.93 ± 0.38 to 3.26 ± 0.35 l/min/m2 and capillary wedge pressure decreased from 18 ± 6 to 13 ± 5 mmHg (p < 0.05); from T2 to T3, cardiac index decreased to 2.4 ± 0.4 while capillary wedge pressure increased to 17 ± 5 (p < 0.05). Mean arterial pressure and heart rate did not change significantly throughout the study. When the hemopump flow was raised to high speed, coronary blood flow increased immediately but returned shortly to baseline values. At steady state, coronary blood flow was stable at values similar to baseline with a tendency for minimum velocity to be higher, suggesting an improvement in systolic myocardial perfusion. When the HP was removed, coronary blood flow dropped immediately. The coronary resistance index changed inversely to coronary blood flow. At high speed, resistance immediately decreased, returning in steady state to baseline values. When the HP was off, resistance increased immediately. Thus, this preliminary study suggests an improvement of myocardial perfusion during HP support. Further studies are needed to evaluate the effect of HP support on myocardial protection in humans.

Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing against blood vessel walls as the heart pumps out blood, and high blood pressure, also called hypertension, is an increase in the amount of force that blood places on blood vessels as it moves through the body. Factors that can increase this force include higher blood volume due to extra fluid in the blood and blood vessels that are narrow, stiff, or clogged(1). High blood pressure can damage blood vessels in the kidneys, reducing their ability to work properly. When the force of blood flow is high, blood vessels stretch so blood flows more easily. Eventually, this stretching scars and weakens blood vessels throughout the body, including those in the kidneys.

Introduction. Vibration disease (VD) is an example of the most common pathology due to the systematic exposure of the worker to intense vibration with sufficient work experience, the main manifestation of which is peripheral angiodystonic syndrome. The aim of study was to learn the features of peripheral blood flow in the arteries of the forearm in vibration disease using the ultrasound method. Materials and methods. The radial and ulnar arteries in patients with vibration disease were examined by ultrasound in B- and PW-mode. These materials present the results of an ultrasound assessment of the speed indicators of the main arteries of the forearm in vibration disease stages 1 and 2. The selection criteria for patients in the study ware the presence of pronounced clinical manifestations of angiodystonic syndrome in vibration disease, confirmed by instrumental research methods and data on the sanitary and hygienic characteristics of working conditions, the absence of cardiovascular chronic diseases (ischemic heart disease, heart defects, rhythm and conduction disturbances), rheumatic, oncological, infectious diseases, osteo-traumatic changes in the upper extremities. Results. The groups of patients with the established diagnosis of vibration disease of 1 and 2 degrees were studied. With vibration disease stage 1 a decrease in the pulse velocity of blood flow was observed in isolation on the ulnar artery and an increase in peripheral resistance (pulsation index and resistance index) in the radial and ulnar arteries symmetrically on both upper extremities. The second stage of vibration disease differed from the first by a more significant decrease in speed indicators both on the ulnar and radial arteries on both sides, symmetrically in combination with a more pronounced increase in peripheral resistance indicators on both main arteries of the forearm (pulsation index and resistance index). The revealed changes were determined with the same frequency in men and women. Conclusions. A significant decrease in speed indicators on the ulnar artery and an increase in peripheral resistance indicators are detected already at the initial stages of vibration disease. Thus, the method of ultrasound examination of the main arteries of the middle caliber of the upper extremities is currently the only available and objective method for examining the vascular system in vibration disease.

Uninhibited proliferation and abnormal cell cycle regulation are the hallmarks of cancer. The main role of cyclin dependent kinases is to regulate the cell cycle and cell proliferation. These protein kinases are frequently down regulated or up regulated in various cancers. Two CDK family members, CDK 11 and 12, have contradicting views about their roles in different cancers. For example, one study suggests that the CDK 11 isoforms, p58, inhibits growth of breast cancer whereas, the CDK 11 isoform, p110, is highly expressed in breast tumor. Studies regarding CDK 12 show variation of opinion towards different parts of the body, however there is a consensus that upregulation of cdk12 increases the risk of breast cancer. Hence, CDK 11 and CDK 12 need to be analyzed to confirm their mechanism and their role regarding therapeutics, prognostic value, and ethnicity in cancer. This article gives an outline on both CDKs of information known up to date from Medline, PubMed, Google Scholar and Web of Science search engines, which were explored and thirty relevant researches were finalized.
