The huge amount of solid waste from the brick manufacturing industry can be used as a cement replacement. However, replacement exceeding 10% causes a reduction in strength due to the slowing of the pozzolanic reaction. Therefore, in this study, the pozzolanic potential of brick waste is enhanced using ultrafine brick powder with hydrated lime (HL). A total of six self-compacting paste mixes were studied. HL 2.5% by weight of binder was added in two formulations: 10% and 20% of waste burnt brick powder (WBBP), to activate the pozzolanic reaction. An increase in the water demand and setting time was observed by increasing the replacement percentage of WBBP. It was found that the mechanical properties of mixes containing 5% and 10% WBBP performed better than the control mix, while the mechanical properties of the mixes containing 20% WBBP were found to be almost equal to the control mix at 90 days. The addition of HL enhanced the early-age strength. Furthermore, WBBP formulations endorsed improvements in both durability and rheological properties, complemented by reduced early-age shrinkage. Overall, it was found that brick waste in ultrafine size has a very high degree of pozzolanic potential and can be effectively utilized as a supplementary cementitious material.

Dating Violence cases, which are categorized as gender based violence are increasing from timeto time in Indonesia. Gender becomes a social characteristic that individuals learn from themoment they are born and it is primarily being socialized by parents. This gender socializationthat one receives from early age until they reach adolescence stage, can play a role in shapingone’s perception and attitude towards male and female, especially regarding romanticrelationship context, including how adolescents see the use of violence in a relationship. This studyaimed to find out the relationship between gender socialization from parents and attitude towardsdating violence in male adolescents from 16-21 years old. This study used quantitative crosssectional design. The participants were 125 male adolescents who were living in Jabodetabek withparents and were obtained using convenience sampling. In this research, Gender-relatedSocialization Scale (Raffaeli & Ontai, 2004; α = 0.859) and Attitude towards Male DatingViolence (Price & Byers, 1999; α = 0.702-0.865) were used as data collection tools. From thisstudy, we found out there is a significant correlation between gender socialization from parentsand attitude towards dating violence, attitude towards physical, and also attitude towards sexualviolence. There was no significant correlation between gender socialization from parents andattitude towards psychological violence. We also found out that participants who were currentlyengaged in a relationship have a higher score in attitude towards sexual dating violence thanparticipants who were not in a relationship.

German pianist Clara Wieck Schumann and Italian painter Artemisia Gentileschi were both tutored by their fathers from an early age and made their mark as great European artists. Their art took them both across the continent, where they met many other famous historical persons. Their lives have not only been recorded in biographies but have also been retold in several novels, or ‘fictionalised biographies’. The fictionalised biography is an interesting hybrid genre, placed somewhat uncomfortably between historiography and the art of fiction, which permits it to disregard certain expectations raised by so-called ‘factual’ biographies (e.g. that authors should strive for ‘objectivity’ or ‘truthfulness’). The relationship between fact and fiction can thus be re-negotiated, following the author’s ideological inclinations and their imaginative closure of historiographical gaps. Beginning with some general remarks on fictionalised biographies of ‘exemplary women’, this paper then examines Janice Galloway’s Clara (2002) and Susan Vreeland’s The Passion of Artemisia (2002), focusing on the complex father-daughter relationships that Clara Wieck Schumann and Artemisia Gentileschi undoubtedly experienced, and which offered the authors ample ground for a critique of historical gender relations and hierarchies. The analyses will concentrate on the heroines’ journeys in Europe. The paper examines the ways in which the two fictional rewritings of historical women artists’ lives foreground gender aspects and make use of the narrative privileges of fictionalised biography to project contemporary feminist ideas onto historical characters and events, and explores the function of the featured European locales with regard to the protagonists’ personal development in the novels. The heroines’ ventures into foreign lands are revealed to function as an impulse towards a changing perception of their fathers as well as themselves.

In this paper, a device for pore solution extraction from cement-based materials was presented, The relevant Factors of Efficiency of Pore Solution Extraction and the effects of squeezing pressures on the chemical concentrations of pore solutions were studied. The results shows, the efficiency of pore solution extraction can be effected by pressure values, squeezing duration, pressure maintaining time; A low rate of pressures loading is suitable for early-age cement pastes, and long-term samples can take larger rate; 30 minutes loading time can be adopted for specimens with all the different ages; no significant differences were observed regarding the chemical composition (Na and K) of the pore solution extracted between 300 and 900MPa.

Noble character is a reflection of one's personality, in addition to the superior morality will be able to bring someone to the high dignity. Lately, a good manner is costly and hard to find. The lack of understanding of moral values contained in the Qur'an and Hadith will further aggravate the condition of a person's personality, even life seemed to feel less meaningful. To form a noble personal, moral cultivation against children should be encouraged from an early age, since its formation will be easier than after the child's adulthood. Al Akhlaq Lil Banat book discusses some manners to apply in life, good family environment, school or community. It will create private-mannered accordance with the guidance of the Qur'an. It is a kind of literature review. To obtain representative data in the discussion, it is used library research to find, collect, read, and analyze the books with no relevance to the research problem. The relevant references then is compiled, analyzed, so as obtained as conclusion. To achieve success in the educational process, the material in the book Al Akhlaq Lil Banat can be used as a reference in order to achieve educational success. The material presented in this book is not only refers to the relationship between man and God (transcendental), but also on the relationship between humans (anthropocentric), such as morality to parents, relatives, neighbors, peers and also to the adab or ordinances, such manners visit, walking, traveling, and so forth.

<p>Today, we can see that the negligence of parents and early childhood’s<br />teachers could not keep pace with the times. This can be seen from the<br />development of increasingly sophisticated technology and the rise of children’s<br />television programs become more interested. Given this phenomenon, the<br />parents and educators particularly in early childhood environment, should<br />be flashback while they are still at an early age. The existence of storytelling<br />activities tend to have waned since eroded by age and sophisticated era. Though<br />keep in mind that there are many benefits by giving a fairy tale to children.<br />Children’s tales are very useful for being able to glue the relationship between<br />parents and their children, as well as helping to optimize the development of<br />children’s psychological and emotional intelligence. The examples of fairy tales<br />that can be given to children is a tale of local knowledge that can be drawn<br />from the local legends and the unique stories.</p>

In recent years, nano-reinforcing technologies for cementitious materials have attracted considerable interest as a viable solution for compensating the poor cracking resistance of these materials. In this study, for the first time, titanium nanotubes (TNTs) were incorporated in cement pastes and their effect on the mechanical properties, microstructure, and early-age hydration kinetics was investigated. Experimental results showed that both compressive (~12%) and flexural strength (~23%) were enhanced with the addition of 0.5 wt.% of TNTs relative to plain cement paste at 28 days of curing. Moreover, it was found that, while TNTs accelerated the hydration kinetics of the pure cement clinker phase (C3S) in the early age of the reaction (within 24 h), there was no significant effect from adding TNTs on the hydration of ordinary Portland cement. TNTs appeared to compress the microstructure by filling the cement paste pore of sizes ranging from 10 to 100 nm. Furthermore, it could be clearly observed that the TNTs bridged the microcracks of cement paste. These results suggested that TNTs could be a great potential candidate since nano-reinforcing agents complement the shortcomings of cementitious materials.
