AbstractRhythm works as an organizing principle in all sorts/manner of human behavior and perception. Several sciences investigate rhythm, trying to unveil the mechanisms of its perception and its neural correlates. In order to assess the knowledge available from 2001 to 2011, we conducted a review into five international data bases using the keywords “rhythm” and “perception“. 17 original research papers were found whose indings were fairly inconclusive and unable to precisely locate one single rhythm processing area in the brain, but found activations in both cortical and subcortical structures and the cerebellum. However, methods were found to be fairly diverse and often terminologically inconsistent, which hampers comparison between studies. Conclusions: the former vision of rhythm perception in the brain as occurring in a network has been conirmed.

Modern challenges of the system of mathematical training of schoolchildren lead to an increase in subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. Monitoring the teacher’s professional deficits allows them to be leveled in a timely manner, thereby improving the quality of the educational process. However, the theory and method of identifying them has not been studied much. This makes it possible to state the problem of research, which consists in determining the conceptual basis of the methodology for identifying subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. The purpose of the article is to develop a methodology for identifying subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. Methodology. The methodological basis of the study was a competent approach as the basis for structuring the professional competencies of a mathematics teacher; a systematic approach as the basis for diagnosing professional deficits of a mathematics teacher; federal state educational standard for higher education in the field of training “Pedagogical education”; professional standard “Teacher (pedagogical activity in the field of preschool, primary general, basic general, secondary general education. Module “Subject training. Mathematics”, the requirements of the federal state educational standard for the mathematical training of students in a general education school). The study used methods of analyzing special literature and normative documents, pedagogical modeling and design, mathematical processing of information. Results of the study. The basic principles of the methodology for identifying subject professional deficits are formulated and substantiated: expediency, diagnosticity, systemicity and advance. Based on these principles, the authors developed a methodology for identifying subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. The example shows the main stages and results of diagnosing subject deficits of a mathematics teacher in the field of combinatorics and probability theory.

The textbook discusses the features of the formation of speech and motor functions in children, as well as their disorders. Technologies of examination of the pronouncing side of speech, lexical and grammatical structure of language and coherent speech, tempo-rhythmic organization of speech and motor functions in children are presented. The methods and techniques of diagnostics, criteria for assessing the violation of the formation of functions are described in detail. Meets the requirements of the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation. For students of higher educational institutions studying in the direction of training 44.03.03 "Special (defectological) education" (bachelor's level). It may be useful for undergraduate students studying in the areas of training 44.03.02 "Psychological and pedagogical education" and 44.03.01 "Pedagogical education" - future primary school teachers. It is recommended for the examination of all components of speech and motor functions in children with various disorders.

Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), 5-hydroxytryptamine, and adrenochrome were shown to have properties similar to epinephrine in their effects on the spontaneous electrical activity in the brain of the albino rat. The effects of these drugs were shown to be determined by the type of anesthetic used. In Pentothal-anesthetized animals, profound reduction of the electrical activity in both frequency and amplitude was found in response to these drugs, while in ether-anesthetized animals there was no significant effect. There was a tendency for LSD to increase electrical activity when injected following recovery from anesthesia. The significance of this differential response is discussed with respect to structures in the central nervous system primarily affected by ether and Pentothal, and it is suggested that the site of action of these compounds is in Pentothal-sensitive nonspecific pathways. The site of the depressive action of these drugs with Pentothal is further defined by the fact that both cortical and subcortical structures were equally affected, while respiratory and cardio-regulatory centers were not significantly depressed. This implicates one of the lower nonspecific centers with widespread cortical and subcortical projections.

This article discusses aspects of the application of modern information technologies in professional work of math teacher. Implementation of programs, defined by standard, in practice puts the task to develop guidelines on the use of various ICT tools, collections of sample plans of lessons and assignments for students during the lessons, using mathematical modeling and experiment. In addition, there is a need to build a new model of training teachers in the system of additional vocational training. This work is carried out on the training courses under the program for teachers engaged in a gradual transition to the Federal State Educational Standard as soon as available. The authors explore the questions: What is the general level of ICT competence of math teachers today; is it possible to build a system of training for math teachers to acquire modern ICT competences.
