The textbook is aimed at developing professional competencies in preparing preschool children to learn Russian at school.it reveals the current content of preparing preschoolers to learn reading and writing in primary school, contains a method for teaching them sound word analysis, reading syllables and words in accordance with a scientifically based sound analytical and synthetic method, a technique for teaching children to print letters and syllables, and describes opportunities for cognitive development of preschool children in the process of speech work. The methodological material is accompanied by examples from the speech of preschool children and their training practices. A test is offered for professional self-control over the assimilation of the corresponding methodology in General. The appendices contain methodological illustrative and reference material. Meets the requirements of Federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation. For undergraduate students in the field of "Pedagogical education", it can also be used by undergraduates in the study of a course on the cognitive development of preschool children and in the process of professional development and retraining of employees of preschool educational institutions and primary school teachers.

The article arguesin favor of the formation of communicative competence in students of technical universities. In the competitive struggle for jobs, the candidate who hasthe skills of business communicationskills, professional self-presentation,and confident self-control, wins. Consequently, it is an important task of any technical university to form communicative competence in students while teaching humanities. This study treats communicative competenceas an indispensable skill and, therefore, holds the problem of teaching it urgent. Communicative competence is considered as the ability to effectively interact in a work team, to take into account personal psychological traits and cultural background of the partner in communication, to use business etiquette, conflict management and fruitful interaction in the framework of cooperation. The development of all these skills is placed into the educational process of technical universities as communicative competence is required by in the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education. The participants of this communicative competencestudy wereemploying companies fromVolgograd, Russia (AlterStroy LLC, Alternativa LLC, Elast Plus LLC, PartnerService LLC, Artemis Don LLC, Etalon MK LLC, Beton LLC, Business ResheniyeLLC) and senior students of the Volgograd State Technical University. The total number of survey participants was 109. Master's Degree students of the Volgograd State Technical University V.Bondareva and I.Diulina developed and statistically processed the questionnaire. It was found that both the employers and the students consider the communicative skills, the ability to accurately and clearly express ideas, good manners, and the knowledge of verbal and non-verbal communication pave the path to success in the professional sphere.

The article considers the problem of developing cultural competence of future primary school teachers during professional retraining (language teaching-learning). This problem is stated in the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Professional Education. The author emphasizes that organizing work to develop cultural competence is a relevant pedagogical concern. Competency-based approach is a high-priority task. Its implementation is mandatory within the framework of new Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Professional Education that determine the training objectives in the form of competencies which are necessary for modern teachers in their professional activities. To address the problem the author suggests using historical documents and archives as additional methodological tools during the compulsory courses study (“Theoretical Bases and Technologies of Primary Language Education”, “Theoretical Bases of Primary Literary Education”) of the 44.03.01. Pedagogical Education (Primary Education) curriculum. According to the author, mastering linguistic disciplines will be successful, if there are vivid examples from regional texts illustrating how a language unit functions and evolves. As a result, it will lead to the developing cultural competence of future primary school teachers.

The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the readiness of future primary school teachers (graduates of the Faculty of Education) and teachers-defectologists (graduates of the Faculty of Defectology) to implement inclusive primary education. Both groups of students showed low overall readiness, but the reasons for it are different. Taking into account the identified problems and missing competencies, a variant of the educational program aimed at training a teacher who is able to implement all modern Federal State Educational Standards is proposed
