The Problems which Hinder Arabic Language Teachers in Preparing Educational Research in the UAE from Their Point of View

This study aimed to reveal the attitudes of Arabic language teachers of the upper basic stage towards learning bridges activities from their point of view in Mafraq Governorate in Jordan. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was used. The study used an electronic questionnaire consisting of (20) items, It was distributed amongst the study sample members, which consisted of (172) male and female teachers, and they were chosen by the available intentional sample method. The results of the study showed that the degree of the Arabic language teachers’ attitudes of the upper basic stage towards the activities of learning bridges from their point of view was high; with an arithmetic mean (2.40), and the absence of statistically significant differences at the level (α = 0.05) in the estimates of the study sample members due to the variables (gender, educational qualification, training courses), and in light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a group among the recommendations the most important is encouraging and educating teachers in Jordanian schools to benefit from the activities of learning bridges in teaching.

This study investigates Arabic language teachers’ engagement with published educational research in Kuwait’s secondary schools. The study employs 170 participants across six educational regions in the country by using a quota sampling strategy. It used a questionnaire in eliciting their engagement with published educational research. The data were analysed by using simple percentage to describe the scenarios of their engagement with the published educational research. The results show that there is a lack of encouragement and support by their institutions in relation to teachers’ engagement with published educational research. It also indicates that the findings of the study do not relate to their practical teaching.This study recommends that there should be raising of awareness of the teachers on the importance of published educational research. Researchers should be cognizant of the needs of teachers and important roles that teachers could play in the implementation of the findings of the research. It also suggests the development of teachers’ capacity-building such as teachers’ research literacy. This could assist teachers to develop their reading and writing, as well as engaging with published educational research. Again, the study advocates the development of organisational cultures which could support teachers’ engagement with research. This might help in developing teachers’ professional development in relation to their engagement with published educational research.

The aim of the research is to identify the reality of Arabic language teachers using alternative evaluation methods and tools in the primary stage, and the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, and the research tool was to identify the importance of the alternative evaluation in the evaluation of Arabic language learning at the primary stage from the teachers point of view, consisting of (73) (Skill, distributed in seven methods are (performance-based evaluation, communication-based evaluation, observational evaluation, self-evaluation, peer evaluation, evaluation based on student work files (Portfolio), paper and pen evaluation), and the research sample consisted of (200) A teacher, The results showed that the overall mean of the methods in the alternative evaluation questionnaire reached (3.71) with an important degree, and the alternative evaluation method based on performance came first and with an average (3.92) with an important degree, In light of the results, the research recommends preparing a guide for the teacher to use alternative evaluation methods, and that the Ministry of Education take into account alternative evaluation methods when designing Arabic language curricula, and take advantage of the list of alternative evaluation methods in preparing and designing training programs for Arabic language teachers, engaging students to choose strategies that suit them and satisfy their needs.

The current study aimed to identify the reality of integrating e-learning in the educational environment for teaching Arabic to the elementary stage from the point of view of Arabic language teachers in the State of Kuwait, and the study followed the descriptive and analytical approach, and consisted of (334) teachers, by the random cluster method. Electronic learning in the educational environment for teaching Arabic to the primary stage from the point of view of Arabic language teachers in the State of Kuwait came to a medium degree, and there was no difference of statistical significance for the responses of the study sample on the reality of integrating e-learning into the educational environment to teach Arabic for the primary stage from the point of view of Arabic language teachers In the State of Kuwait, it is attributed to the variable of gender and years of experience, and the existence of a statistically significant difference for the responses of the study sample on the reality of integrating e-learning into the educational environment for teaching the Arabic language to the primary stage from the point of view of Arabic language teachers in the State of Kuwait attributable to the scientific qualification variable in all fields except the tool as a whole. The difference is in favor of those with postgraduate qualifications, the study recommended holding training courses for teachers related to e-learning, employing it in the educational process, encouraging teachers to design computerized educational programs based on e-learning, developing attitudes of Arabic language teachers towards using e-learning in teaching by holding training courses, and reducing teachers’ shares.

The study aims to know the extent of the Arabic language teachers practice in the intermediate stage for the modern teaching skills from the point of view of the managers and supervisors in Iraq. The study sample consisted of (125) teachers within Maysan Education Directorate, they were 65 female teachers, 60 male teachers. To apply the study, the researchers prepared the study subject representing by questionnaire of modern teaching skills. The point of view of the managers and the supervisors in Iraq was medium, where the first stage was the Field of Planning with an average  of (3.02), second stage was the Field of Class Administration with an average of (2.95), the Field of Implementation came in the third stage with an average of (2.93), the fourth stage was the Field of Calendar with an average of (2.91)and finally  in the fifth stage was the Field of Activities and Teaching Aids with an average of (2.88).There are differences due to the gender, educational qualification and teaching experience. For the results, the study produced many recommendations and suggestions.

This study aimed to know the reality of using educational methods and various techniques in the preparatory stage to teach Arabic from the point of view of specialized supervisors and school principals in Baghdad ,and to identify the most important difficulties facing the use of educational methods and various techniques in teaching Arabic at the preparatory stage .In order to answer the study questions ,the researcher prepared a questionnaire that was applied to the study population ,which represents the supervisors specializing in the subject of Arabic language for the preparatory stage, and they number ten supervisors ,as well as the principals of preparatory schools in Baghdad (Rusafa|2) and their number is two hundred and forty administrators ,and by analyzing the statistical data, the results were reached ,The following: 1-The cassette recorder and audio tapes are the most available devices from the point of view of supervisors and school directors ,while transparencies are the least available educational devices in schools. 2-The most important obstacles facing Arabic language teachers in using educational tools and techniques from the point of view of supervisors and school directors is the lack of technicians for maintenance of educational devices and aids inside the school . 3-The degree of Arabic language teachers ,use of educational aids and various technologies is average . 4-Teachers are aware of all that is recent in field of educational aids and various technologies . 5-There are no statistically significant differences between the responses of supervisors and school principals on the whole study tool ln light of these results, the recommends ; 1-providing educational aids and technologies of all kinds in schools and giving teachers the opportunity to use them. 2-Holding training courses for teachers to train them in the use of various educational aids ,devices and technologies. 3-Attention by supervisors and managers to follow up teachers to urge and encourage them to use the various educational methods and techniques. The current study aimed at identify the degree of availability of critical thinking skills among Arabic language teachers in the education directorates in Karak Governorate, Jordan, from their point of view, and to reveal the differences in that according to the variables of gender, academic qualification and the number of years of experience. and the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (48) items distributed on (7) skills, namely: (analysis, induction, interpretation, conclusion), Calendar), and the indications for their validity and reliability were verified. Where a stratified random sample of (193) teachers was chosen from among the teachers of the Arabic language in the directorates of education in the governorate of Karak, The study found that the degree of availability of critical thinking skills among Arabic language teachers from their point of view was medium, with an arithmetic mean (3.42) and The skill of "deduction" came first, with an arithmetic average of (3.73), And with a high degree, while the “evaluation” skill came in the last place, with an arithmetic average of (2.93), and a medium degree. It also indicated that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) in the degree of availability of thinking skills. The critic among Arabic language teachers is attributed to gender, while it was found that there are statistically significant differences attributable to academic qualification and in favor of higher qualification (postgraduate studies), and the existence of statistically significant differences due to years of experience and in favor of those with higher experience.

The aim of the study is to know the reality of the Arabic language in the society of knowledge and stand on the challenges facing the Arab language in the Knowledge Society; from the point of view of the teachers in the Arabic language? And proposed solutions to meet the challenges of the Arabic language in the knowledge society In order to achieve the objectives of the study the two researchers use the descriptive approach, and then the application of the study tool (Resolution) on the Arabic language and Islamic education teachers, and study sample was 120 teachers, and the study's results revealed that: The Knowledge Society has a significant negative impact on the Arabic language, as it exposed to jamming, marginalization, and displacement factors under the education society The most important challenges facing the Arabic language in the knowledge society is (cultural alienation, the professionalism of the workers of the knowledge society of Arabic language, electronic administration, computer follow-up, modification of curricula for the benefit of the English language). One of the most important ways to face those challenges (development of the Arabic language, the dissemination of the belonging culture, the dissemination of the self-learning culture and the use of modern technologies, Arabization and translation) In the light of the study results, the two researchers made recommendations and proposals the most important of which are: Working on applying the solutions proposed by researchers. Take benefit from the latest developments of modern technical means which contribute to help and develop skills of the Arabic language. making studies about the repercussions of the networks of social communication on the Arabic language. Making studies about the effects of foreign education on the Arabic language.
